Leaving the breakfast stall, Lin Miaomiao was heading home to change clothes before going to class. Coincidentally, I also planned to visit Uncle Xing, which would help me familiarize myself with the major I was going to pursue. (Uncle Xing had arranged a college student identity for me as a cover.) 0

It was too dark last night; if Lin Miaomiao hadn't led the way, I probably wouldn't have found my way back to school—this place is so complicated. The city has deep alleys, and I want to go back to the countryside! 0

An hour later. 0

"You're just changing one outfit, right? Why is it taking so long?" I said, feeling speechless after waiting downstairs for an hour. "It's almost nine o'clock." 0

We went out for morning exercise at six-thirty, went to the breakfast stall at seven-thirty, and returned to Lin Miaomiao's house at eight. That girl took a whole hour to get ready. I could change my clothes in five minutes! 0

"I put on light makeup," Lin Miaomiao said excitedly. "How do I look? How do I look?" She tugged at my sleeve like a girl showing off her toy. 0

"Uh... there's not much difference," I said as I carefully examined her. "Miao Miao, you look good even without makeup." 0

"You're so clueless!" Lin Miaomiao pouted like a deflated balloon. "I just bought this makeup; it was so expensive!" 0

The girl was sulking with me, which was strange because she was older than me yet always felt somewhat childlike. 0

The atmosphere was great; the campus of J University was filled with youthful energy. Girls in short skirts passed by occasionally, while boys sitting on the lawn commented on those who caught their attention. There were also freshmen walking by with a big stack of books, their faces glowing with anticipation and dreams. 0

"Hey, Little Anzi, I'm going to report to my classroom. What about you?" Lin Miaomiao turned back to ask me—why does everyone love calling me Little Anzi? 0

"I have something to take care of; you go ahead first. I'll find you later, or you can come to the Department of Physical Education office to look for me," I replied. 0

Uncle Xing had sent me a message early in the morning, but I didn't know what it was about. Although he asked me to come by in the evening, I got interrupted by Lin Miaomiao when I read the message, so I decided to visit him early in the morning instead. 0

Department of Physical Education The old man at the gate was not listening to the performance this time; he was listening to Guo Degang's crosstalk. I greeted the old man and entered the Department of Physical Education by myself. 0

There is actually a reception desk at the Department of Physical Education, but when I came yesterday, there was no one there. Today, however, there was a lively young woman. 0

The young woman was dressed in neat work attire, with her hair styled in twin ponytails. She had a slightly round face, but unfortunately, she had a prominent nose. 0

"I am here to see Teacher Xing Qi. May I go in?" I asked politely. Xing Qi is a pseudonym for Uncle Xing, derived from Xing Wu Gan Qi. Uncle Xing has a simple mind (made of wood, how could it be anything but simple?), so he simply calls himself Xing Qi. 0

"Teacher Xing hasn't arrived yet. Would you like to wait a moment?" the ponytailed young woman replied. 0

As soon as she finished speaking, Uncle Xing's office door opened, and a slender-legged beauty walked out carrying a large stack of forms. Her hair was pinned up with a hairpin; it was none other than the fierce girl—Jin! 0

Jin was wearing high heels that made her already slender legs appear even longer, and her footsteps echoed on the floor with a "tap tap tap" sound. The sound grew closer. "Qing, I have the list for the new students' Military Training. If you have time, please give it to the principal. Also, if there's someone named Yin Zheng'an on the list, put him in the sports special talents category." Jin wasn't wearing Glasses, so it seemed she didn't see me. 0

"Okay, Sister Jin," said Qing, the ponytailed girl, as she took the documents. "There's someone here looking for Teacher Xing; what do you think we should do?" 0

"Who would look for that wooden head so early?" Jin replied while putting on her Glasses. "You just know he’ll be slacking off; if nothing happens, you can’t find him at all." 0

"It's me, that sports special talent," I said with three black lines appearing on my forehead. Damn it, still having to do Military Training? Do I really have to do Military Training with a bunch of sports special talents? I'm going to report this; it's personal revenge! "What did I do to offend you? Is it necessary to arrange me with a bunch of big guys for Military Training? This is personal revenge!" I said indignantly. 0

"You are Yin Zheng'an?" Qing asked curiously. "The disciple of that guy from town? You don't look like him at all." 0

Look like him? Like what? Like a Pervert? Of course, I don't look like him! My looks are much better! 0

"Stop Gossiping. Qing, take care of his enrollment procedures and also get our seal engraved for him. I'll take him away first," Jin said with a cold expression and an air of superiority. It's strange that this ponytailed girl could tolerate such an attitude. "You, come with me." Jin pointed at me. 0

"Just go if you're going to go, what's there to be so arrogant about?" I secretly pouted. Just as I was about to leave, a hand grabbed me. 0

It was Qing. She lowered her voice and quietly asked, "Did you offend Sister Jin? Although she seems a bit cold, she usually doesn't show emotional changes towards others. I can tell she seems to really hate you." 0

How would I know? She knocked me out with one punch just yesterday; it was our first meeting. Could my one comment really have such a devastating effect? 0

"I don't know, do I look like her ex-boyfriend?" My gossip spirit was burning brightly. 0

"Not at all, Sister Jin's taste isn't that low," Qing replied honestly. 0

I immediately felt the sting of a thousand arrows piercing my heart. I clutched my chest and said, "You don't have to be that honest, do you? I'm leaving, let's talk another time." I saw Jin had already entered the office and quickly followed her in. 0

Upon entering the office, Jin was already sitting at the desk behind Uncle Xing, pointing at the empty air beside her. "Let me introduce you; this will be your contact person from now on. Your work will be handled by him and his companions." 0

"Um, there's no one next to you?" I asked in confusion. "Are you messing with me?" 0

"Hmm?" Jin looked up. "When you came yesterday, although you felt weak, there was still a fluctuation of magical energy. Why is there none today?" So it turns out you need magical energy to see them? 0

"I had a little accident; it will be fine in two days," I said awkwardly. "What should I do if I can't see him now?" 0

"No problem." Suddenly, a person appeared beside Jin. "I can come out." 0

The person looked like a middle-aged man wearing a suit that looked quite cheap. His hair had some white strands mixed in, and while he didn't have many wrinkles, the crow's feet at the corners of his eyes were particularly pronounced. His hands were large with long fingers, resembling someone who had worked hard in a factory for half their life and whose wife ran off with someone else while still having children to support. Honestly, if he were lost in a crowd, he would definitely not stand out. 0

"Hello, my name is Yin Zheng'an; please take care of me from now on," I said as I extended my hand. 0

The middle-aged man seemed a bit flattered and quickly extended his hand to shake mine. "I am the Sun God. I will be working with you from now on," he said with a smile. 0

"What? The Sun God?" This was a genuine deity, not like Uncle Xing, who just idled away his time. "I've heard so much about you. I apologize for my lack of respect, not knowing your identity!" 0

As the saying goes, a local official is better than a distant one. If he were a high-ranking deity, he probably wouldn't care about my attitude. What I feared most were those who had little power but could still influence me—those people could easily put me in a difficult position. 0

"Well, although my position isn't that high, I am your superior now. Could you please refrain from thinking such things in front of me? Also, I won't be putting anyone in difficult situations," the Sun God said awkwardly. "In our line of work, we can read minds. In your terms, it's an active skill." 0

Oh no, I've offended my boss right off the bat; this is going to make things tough for me. 0

"Don't worry, I'm just here to assist you. It's not my place to manage you since you're technically still under the old system," the Sun God read my thoughts again. 0

Wow, the Sun God is so cool and charismatic; I'm definitely going to stick with him. I thought to myself. 0

"That won't help; I'm just assigning you tasks. Complimenting me won't change anything," the Sun God said with a smile. "Come on, we don't work here. Just follow me. I originally wanted you to come in the evening since that guy is better at conversation than I am. But since you're here in the morning, let's get familiar with the environment." The Sun God then walked out the door. 0

What a waste of effort, I thought. 0

"I don't have a sister," the Sun God turned around and said very seriously. 0

I was left speechless. 0
