Time seemed to stand still, and space felt stagnant. Li Ye's sea of consciousness shattered, and the soul power of Void Night leaked out, suppressed and sealed in darkness. The fragments of Li Ye's soul flickered around Void Night like scattered lights. Void Night sighed and said, "I didn't expect you to be so short-lived. But since you're already dead, let's fulfill your promise!"
Void Night suddenly activated his power, drawing in and devouring the fragments of Li Ye's soul. Their state of being one body with two souls was a result of the evil spirit seizing Li Ye during which Zhiruo's magical leaf caused their souls to merge and split, preventing Void Night from fully recovering his strength! Now, by devouring Li Ye's soul fragments, Void Night could completely restore his soul strength to its peak!
Soon, a ghostly blue light began to shimmer around Void Night; it was the power of the stone coffin. The coffin seemed to melt away, flowing like mercury from Li Ye's corpse's forehead. However, this 'mercury' appeared to have its own consciousness and wrapped around Li Ye's body tightly within just three breaths, then began to repair his shattered sea of consciousness and broken internal organs. Before long, Li Ye's body was fully restored by this 'mercury', even enhancing his physical strength.
The souls of Void Night and Li Ye completely merged as he returned to this body. With a flash of golden light, Li Ye floated in mid-air and slowly opened his crimson eyes, a smirk on his lips: "You want to kill me?"
Mo Tianxing's expression changed drastically, a chill rising in his heart; he never expected Li Ye could revive under such circumstances. Zhiruo and Yan Yuchen were filled with surprise and disbelief.
"Li Ye!" Zhiruo couldn't help but exclaim, tears glistening in her eyes.
Li Ye landed on the ground, his gaze sweeping around like lightning, his voice deep and cold: "Do you think this is enough to end me?"
A flicker of terror crossed Mo Tianxing's eyes, but he quickly regained his composure and sneered: "Even if you come back to life, what does it matter? You will undoubtedly die today!"
"Is that so?" Li Ye snorted coldly, his crimson eyes flashing with killing intent as his aura grew increasingly terrifying.
Lan Xi stood aside with a complex expression; she knew she had no way out. Li Ye's revival exceeded her expectations and disrupted her plans. She murmured to herself: "This time is truly a complete failure."
Zhiruo and Yan Yuchen stood beside Li Ye; Yan Yuchen tightened her grip on her sword and said firmly: "Li Ye, we will fight together!"
Zhiruo nodded in agreement: "That's right, Li Ye; we won't let you face these dangers alone anymore."
Li Ye glanced at them gratefully, then turned his gaze to Mo Tianxing and coldly said, "Mo Tianxing, there are many who want to kill me, but it’s not your turn to succeed! Today, I will let you know what true fear is!"
With that, Li Ye suddenly activated all his spiritual power, a hint of ferocity flashing in his crimson eyes. The power of Void Night erupted completely, and his aura instantly rose to a new height.
Mo Tianxing sensed the change in Li Ye and felt an ominous premonition arise in his heart, but he still forced himself to remain calm and sneered, "Li Ye, you are nothing but a monster possessed by an evil spirit. I will completely eliminate you!"
"A monster? So what if I am a monster? Prepare to die!" Li Ye said with a wicked smile, charging towards Mo Tianxing like a Shura.
Mo Tianxing tried to dodge but found Li Ye's speed astonishingly fast, making it impossible to evade. With a flick of his sword, Li Ye shattered all of Mo Tianxing's clothes with just the sword energy, yet left not a single scratch on him. Mo Tianxing stared in shock at his bare body and roared angrily, "Li Ye! Are you humiliating the city lord?"
Li Ye replied earnestly and sincerely, "Yes! I am here to humiliate you!" After saying this, he flicked his sword again. Mo Tianxing hastily braced himself for the strike but felt no pain or pressure. Just as Mo Tianxing was puzzled, Li Ye smiled and said, "Circumcision surgery, one thousand taels of gold, please settle the bill."
Mo Tianxing looked down and realized that the previous strike had indeed performed a circumcision on him! He was filled with rage; anger completely overcame reason as he erupted and began to counterattack frantically.
Mo Tianxing shouted furiously, "You damned monster!" He swung his magical artifact wildly, each strike vicious and aiming for a fatal blow. But his anger made his attacks wild and imprecise. Li Ye easily dodged each one while deliberately provoking him: "Hey, Mo Tianxing, is this all you've got if you want to kill me?"
Mo Tianxing was even more enraged; his moves became increasingly fierce, but Li Ye always managed to counter effortlessly. Time after time of being toyed with drove Mo Tianxing into a frenzy. Seizing an opening, Li Ye lightly traced his sword across Mo Tianxing's back, carving the words "Quarantine Passed, Approved for Slaughter."
Feeling the sting on his back, Mo Tianxing turned to look at Li Ye: "You... how dare you!"
Li Ye sneered contemptuously: "How dare I? Didn’t you see it? Are you blind?" Saying this, Li Ye struck again; this time the sword energy was sharper and directly shaved Mo Tianxing's head bald, leaving him in utter disarray.
Mo Tianxing's fury reached its peak as he completely lost his reason and lunged at Li Ye with his magical artifact. However, every attack was easily deflected by Li Ye, who even took the opportunity to humiliate him further. Li Ye carved various insulting phrases on him and even used sword energy to thin out his eyebrows into sparse strands.
Li Ye laughed even more wildly, "Do you think you can do anything to me? Just because of you? Mo Tianxing, do you even deserve it?"
Mo Tianxing's angry roar echoed in the hall, but the more furious he became, the more chaotic his attacks were, completely controlled by Li Ye. Li Ye countered playfully, causing Mo Tianxing to completely lose his rationality. In the end, Li Ye pierced Mo Tianxing's shoulder with a sword and coldly said, "Do you know why you lost so badly? Because you don't understand what true power is!"
Mo Tianxing's eyes were filled with despair as he struggled to say, "Li Ye, you..."
Li Ye sneered, "Didn't you call me a monster? Can't beat me and still call me Li Ye? Too late! I'll let you know what a monster really is!"
As he spoke, he pointed at Mo Tianxing's forehead, and a surge of Spiritual Energy suddenly entered Mo Tianxing's sea of consciousness. Mo Tianxing's pupils dilated instantly as the scene before him began to twist and distort; Li Ye's figure gradually transformed into a gigantic monster.
This monster was covered in black and red scales, resembling a demon. Its eyes glowed with a crimson light, its mouth filled with sharp fangs, and its bloodstained claws still had remnants of torn limbs hanging from them. Its body seemed to be made up of countless vengeful spirits and flesh, exuding a nauseating stench. Mo Tianxing saw the monster open its massive mouth and emit a piercing howl as if it wanted to swallow the entire world.
Mo Tianxing screamed in despair and turned to flee but was caught by the monster. The monster's claws pierced directly into his body, blood splattering everywhere. Mo Tianxing felt excruciating pain as his body was torn into countless pieces; his limbs were cruelly ripped off by the monster, and his insides were mercilessly pulled out. Each tear was accompanied by extreme agony and endless despair. He watched helplessly as his body was devoured by the monster; his consciousness gradually blurred until he finally fell into endless darkness.
In reality, Mo Tianxing's corpse crashed to the ground, his face twisted in fear and pain, yet his body bore not a single scratch. Li Ye coldly looked at this intact corpse and sneered contemptuously.
"Liu Fei, Specter, come over and devour this corpse."
Liu Fei and Specter quickly appeared beside Li Ye and unhesitatingly began to consume Mo Tianxing's body. Liu Fei seductively licked at Mo Tianxing's flesh and blood, her eyes sparkling with an eerie light, while Specter coldly tore at him as if executing an emotionless task.
Li Ye turned his head to look at Lan Xi standing nearby, a glint of coldness flashing in his eyes: "It's time to settle our accounts."
