Everywhere here, there are guards dressed in black, and they are indeed guards. Although their outfits differ, their mission should be the same.
Even though she sits quietly by the lake alone, those guards surround her. The Big Bad Guy must be afraid she will escape, which is why so many guards are watching her.
This world is completely different from where she lived. Here, she cannot do anything on her own; even the simplest tasks like dressing and eating have to be done with the help of maids. The things here are even stranger—a large square iron box can hold so many people, and they can talk and sing inside it. There are so many bizarre individuals as well. What kind of magical power does that box have to contain so many people? If only she could trap the Big Bad Guy inside it, then she would be free.
However, there is another large box that is also quite magical. It can move on its own without horses pulling it or anyone pushing it from behind. People can sit inside this box. Today, when the Big Bad Guy went out, she hid behind the sturdy yet transparent window, watching him get into that self-moving box.
Seeing these things, she began to understand a little; this place must be very far from Yan Country, a truly magical place. However, what puzzled her was how she ended up in this world after jumping off a cliff.
"I can't make sense of it... I just don't understand...?"
Rafas had been busy outside all afternoon but kept thinking about that woman who claimed to be a princess. Every time he thought of this, he couldn't help but smile; it was simply too ridiculous. A princess? What does that even mean? Could she really be a princess?
"Master." The servants in the castle saw their master return and immediately stopped their work, bowing respectfully. Rafas walked past them with steady steps, heading straight for his room.
The room had already been tidied up neatly. In the grand and luxurious classical bedroom, however, there was no one there. Where did that delicate woman go?
"Where has she gone...?" Rafas roared like an earthquake, his anger evident in his voice. A trembling maid rushed in, keeping her head down as she weakly replied to him: "Master, that young lady is by the lake in the garden."
Upon learning her whereabouts, Rafas's expression changed dramatically; his previously furious demeanor softened instantly, especially his uninjured face, which appeared even more handsome.
"It's fine now; you can leave!" Rafas took off his coat and casually tossed it onto the large bed before stepping downstairs toward the direction of the lake in the back garden. He wondered what that Little Woman was doing now.
Yan Wushuang sat quietly on a rattan chair by the lake, realizing that nearly two hours had passed. Gazing at the calm surface of the water, she muttered to herself, "When will I be able to leave this place? When can I return to the Great Yan Kingdom?"
"Let me answer that for you!" A familiar voice echoed, and without turning around, Yan Wushuang already knew who it was.
A sense of pressure grew stronger in her heart as Rafas approached her step by step. The Silver Mask shone with a dazzling silver light under the sunlight. Even in his own castle, Rafas did not remove the mask from his right cheek; that scar was a humiliation he would never forget for the rest of his life.
"You can never leave this place in this life, or even in your next life, or the one after that..." Standing before her, looking down at her from above, he noticed that this woman remained seated in her chair without showing any fear upon seeing him. She didn't even glance at him, which made him realize that he had been too busy today, allowing her to live too comfortably.
