"No, I'm not lying. Please believe me," Wushuang lowered her head and hid in his embrace. She was inherently kind-hearted and simple-minded; she never lied at all. Whenever she did lie in the past, her heart would race uncontrollably, and her eyes would dart around in panic, always getting caught by her father's discerning gaze.
Rafas didn't rush to expose her lie; he wanted to see what trick she was trying to play this time. That jade pendant had already shattered into pieces and was completely uneven.
