Faisal shot him a glance and stood up to walk towards the tent. At that moment, a silver sedan drove towards them. Rafas saw the license plate and cursed under his breath; how did that woman get here?
He looked at Little Woman, who was still playing by the sea. She seemed unaware of the situation and was splashing water with Shouya. However, today was the day he promised to take her out, and he would definitely keep the smile on her face.
The bodyguards saw that the mistress had arrived and dared not stop her, so they let her enter. Smith Annie walked toward Rafas in a sexy strapless mini dress, exuding charm. Faisal observed the scene and approached Rafas, quietly asking, "How should we deal with this woman?"
"Deal with her however you want," Rafas replied, his meaning clear—do as you please.
Faisal nodded in understanding and walked over to her first. "Madam, what brings you here today?"
Smith Annie smiled seductively at Faisal, her delicate hands crossed over her chest in a proud manner. "I heard Lefas is on vacation today, so as his wife, I naturally had to come accompany him!"
With that one sentence, she clearly stated her identity and bypassed Faisal to stand directly beside Rafas.
She lay on the beach chair that originally belonged to Faisal, reaching out to caress his chest suggestively. "Lefas, I know I was wrong. Will you forgive me? I swear that no matter how many women you have in the future, I will never say 'no'!"
Rafas looked at her coldly and replied icily, "How many women I have is my business. What right do you have to speak?"
"Lefas, I know I was wrong. Please forgive me! In front of others, I am still your wife," Smith Annie pleaded. Her sharp eyes had already spotted Wushuang playing nearby—the woman who was smiling brightly and had taken away her man.
"You know that? Then you better behave!" Rafas's gaze remained fixed on Yan Wushuang. Seeing her radiant smile brought him immense joy, but now this woman was ruining it; he felt disgusted just looking at her.
Shouya had noticed Smith Annie's arrival and stood frozen in place, staring at the two on the beach chair. What kind of drama was unfolding today?
Wushuang noticed Shouya's dazed expression and followed his gaze. She saw that the spot next to the man was no longer occupied by Faisal but by a scantily clad blonde beauty.
"Who is that woman? How dare she lie next to our leader?" Yezi asked curiously when no one else spoke. Perhaps Wushuang wanted to know the answer to that question as well.
Shouya turned to look at Wushuang beside him, hesitating for a moment before gently saying, "Wushuang, that woman is Lefas's wife, whom he married to gain her father's support. I don't know why she is here today. Try to avoid her as much as possible. Don't be alone; always stay with Yezi or by my side, understood?"
Upon hearing that she was his wife, Wushuang's face suddenly went pale and stiff. She remembered that it was she who had been sold to that black ship, the one who had orchestrated it all, the one who had deceived her and sold her off!
Yezi, aware of the situation, worriedly took Wushuang's hand and murmured, "Wushuang, stay calm. I will always be with you. Let's keep our distance from that woman. There are so many people here; I don't believe she would dare to lay a hand on you!"
Rafas watched them from a distance, noticing Wushuang's face lose its smile in an instant. He angrily swung his arm and strode towards Wushuang.
Shouya also brought the two girls back to the beach. Seeing him approach, he curiously asked, "Lefas, how did she end up here?"
As Rafas walked closer, he noticed Wushuang's pale and tense expression. He understood her fear and felt an urge to shoot Smith Annie right then.
"Ignore that woman; everything remains the same!" Rafas pulled Wushuang into his embrace and walked over to the dining table. Smith Annie saw her man holding another woman right in front of her and felt furious but had to endure it.
With a beaming smile, she approached him. Rafas held Wushuang's slender waist with his left arm while Smith Annie leaned against him with a cheerful demeanor. The moment Wushuang saw her coming over, her body stiffened instantly, and her small hand nervously clutched the hem of Rafas's shirt.
"Honey, I want chicken wings!" Smith Annie playfully pouted beside him, deliberately using an intimate term to assert dominance in front of Wushuang.
Having lived here for several months, Wushuang understood what "honey" meant. How could a princess of a nation end up in such a situation? Tears welled up in her eyes as she felt overwhelmed.
Smith Annie leaned even closer to Rafas, unable to tolerate this strange relationship any longer. Wushuang struggled out of Rafas's hold and ran towards the beach!
"Wushuang..." Yezi had been by her side all along. As soon as Wushuang ran off, she immediately followed after her.
Rafas was the master of Solomon; he wouldn't chase after a woman. He calmly stood still, casting a cold glance at the woman beside him before roughly pushing her away. He gave Shouya a look, signaling him to retrieve that disobedient little thing!
He thought he would chase after that vixen, but he didn't, which gave Smith Annie a glimmer of hope. However, this hope was quickly pushed away by his ruthless actions. Still, she felt happy; it proved that he still considered her status as the main wife!
Wushuang ran away from the suffocating scene, with Yezi following closely behind. Anyone would find such a situation unbearable. She had initially thought that his domineering love was genuine towards Wushuang, but today he brought his wife into such an awkward situation. How could Wushuang possibly stay there?
Exhausted from running, Wushuang sat under a large rock. Yezi and Shouya caught up with her and sat beside her, unsure of what to say to comfort her.
Time passed slowly, and the three of them had not returned. Looking at the gold watch on her wrist, over an hour had already gone by. Rafas paced back and forth impatiently. Where on earth had that troublesome woman gone?
"Lefas, what are you doing? Come sit down; this grilled fish is really good," Smith Annie thought happily, wishing that woman would never come back.
"Shut up... If you say another word, get out of here immediately!" he shouted coldly and emotionlessly. At this moment, anyone who provoked him was asking for trouble.
Faisal said nothing. Watching their situation unfold, he felt helpless. Just then, his phone rang. Looking at the caller ID, it was that kid: "What’s taking you so long to come back?"
"Sharl, go get my first aid kit from the car; Miss Wushuang has injured herself. We'll be back soon!" Wushuang had been running non-stop and accidentally fell without paying much attention. It wasn't until she got up to leave that she realized her foot hurt. Rolling up her pant leg, she saw that her calf was scraped badly and was still bleeding. She had been hugging her knees behind the rock, feeling low and miserable, completely unaware of the pain until now.
"Miss Wushuang is injured? Is it serious?" Faisal's words made the man standing with his back to him lose his composure.
"Tell them to come back immediately and pack up to return to base!" Rafas suddenly felt a tightness in his chest, troubled by thoughts of the Little Woman crying in pain. How badly was she hurt? That was his biggest concern.
On the other end of the line, Shouya was carrying Wushuang when he heard Rafas's loud shout. Upon hearing him say to pack up and leave immediately, Wushuang panicked and struggled to get down from his back, wanting to run back and stop him from ending today's camping trip!
"Ah..." As her injured foot touched the ground, it pulled at the wound, causing her to frown in pain and exclaim, "I won't leave! I want to stay by the sea! I won't go!"
"Wushuang, be careful! Your foot is still bleeding!" Shouya quickly adjusted her on his back again while Yezi supported her on the side to prevent her from falling again.
Faisal heard everything clearly on the phone, which put him in a difficult position.
In less than two minutes, Shouya returned carrying her on his back. Wushuang saw Rafas standing there with a dark expression, and the tent they had set up was partially taken down. Feeling anxious, she hid behind him and began to cry.
Shouya thought she was crying because of her injury and hurried his steps to reach him. Seeing Little Woman buried behind Shouya, crying continuously, Rafas felt a surge of anger. Damn it, why was she so close to Shouya? Even though he knew there was nothing between them, her dependence on Shouya was unbearable for him!
Rafas stepped forward and roughly took her from Shouya, carrying her horizontally toward one of the tents. As he walked, he warned her in a low voice, "From now on, you are not allowed to get that close to Shouya. Do you understand?"
Wushuang wrapped her arms around his neck and nodded obediently while crying, "Rafas, I will listen to you. Please don’t cancel today’s camping trip, okay?"
He carried her into the tent and gently set her down. Tears as big as beans fell from Wushuang's eyes as she looked up at him with a pleading and hopeful expression.
"No way. Your foot is injured; you have to go back!" he coldly rejected her, his gaze falling on her swollen and scraped little leg.
Wushuang lowered her head in disappointment, tears streaming down like rain. She had put aside her pride and endured an entire night just to enjoy this beautiful holiday, only for it to end with his single statement.
Seeing her silent demeanor, Rafas lifted her chin to meet her tear-streaked face and softened his tone from earlier, asking, "Do you really want to stay that much?"
"Mm..." Wushuang softly hummed, and the next moment she found herself enveloped in his arms.
"Alright, I promise you can stay. However, you must behave. If you dare defy me again, we’ll immediately head back to the castle!" His blatant threat made Wushuang's heart tighten, but he still agreed to her request.
The two embraced each other in the tent while Smith Annie watched as her man carried that vixen into the tent. She was already furious inside and drank glass after glass of red wine. That despicable woman better not be alone; she didn’t believe Rafas would protect her forever!
