At the villa, Smith Annie was passionately entwined with her bodyguard lover. Rafas kicked open the door and saw the two of them tangled on the bed. He had no interest in the affairs of this promiscuous woman; what he cared about was whether she had ordered someone to kidnap Yan Wushuang.
"Lefas... I... please forgive me... I'm begging you..." Smith Annie panicked at Rafas's sudden appearance. Knowing his personality, she feared he would kill her.
The man beside her had already put on a pair of underwear and was trembling, kneeling by the bed with his head down, not daring to say a word, as if waiting for sentencing like a condemned prisoner.
Rafas looked at the shameless couple. Initially, he thought about letting her enjoy a few more days of freedom out of respect for her father, but she seemed restless and had done something she shouldn't have.
Smith Annie hastily put on a nightgown, knelt at Rafas's feet, tugging at his pant leg with a pitiful expression as she pleaded with the imposing man before her: "Lefas, please don't kill me. He came to seduce me on purpose; he sneaked into my room at night. You have to believe me, believe me..."
Her tearful and snotty demeanor made it seem genuine, but Rafas was not someone who would fall for her words. Besides, he had always kept a close watch on her every move.
Rafas glanced at the woman kneeling beside him, her flushed face indicating that she hadn't had enough fun yet. Ignoring her presence, he coldly asked, "Tell me, where were you planning to take my woman?"
This left Smith Annie confused. What did he mean? What did it mean to take his woman somewhere? If he was referring to that shameless vixen, she hadn't touched her at all—except for that one incident!
"Lefas, I don't understand what you're saying! I didn't take anyone anywhere! I really didn't..." Smith Annie was genuinely wronged this time; she cried out and grabbed him, repeatedly explaining her innocence.
"Didn't? If it wasn't you, then it must be your brother. Don't think I don't know what tricks you all are playing behind my back; you're underestimating me, Rafas!" His dark eyes glinted with silver light that matched the Silver Mask on his face, instilling fear in Smith Annie.
She had never known he could be so terrifying. Even when he had beaten her badly last time, his gaze hadn't frightened her like this. She didn't know what was happening but had a premonition that this time she was definitely doomed!
Rafas realized he wouldn't get any answers from her. Looking at the disheveled woman and her bodyguard lover beside her, he decided they were lucky today; he had other matters to attend to. Once he captured that little vixen, he would settle the score with them later.
"Take this pair of adulterers to the base and detain them. No one is allowed to approach them without my orders. Also, treat this handsome young man well!" Rafas's voice was as grim as death itself, causing the kneeling bodyguard to faint from fear.
"Lefas... Lefas, for the sake of your cooperation with my father, please spare me! I'm begging you for another chance; I'll sign the divorce agreement immediately and won't ask for a penny from you. I'll leave for England right away; please don't hurt me!" Smith Annie knew what that base was for; if she went in there, she would never have a chance to leave again.
Rafas wanted to leave but felt her grip tighten around his legs. Looking down at the tear-streaked woman who looked a mess from crying, he spat out a few harsh words: "Too late. Take her away..."
He kicked her away mercilessly; just looking at her made him feel nauseous. He had long wanted to get rid of her but hadn't expected it would come to this moment.
"Ring..." The phone rang, and Mike's voice clearly reached his ears: "Master, we discovered changes in Miss Wushuang's whereabouts. She hasn't flown to England or any other European country but is heading towards Asia—likely China, Japan, or Korea!"
"Keep a close watch on her; I want to know how she left!" Rafas sat back in the car, his black eyes filled with lethal intent.
Faisal had already interrogated the boss of Ice House and all the staff on duty that day. The results surprised him greatly. Just then, Rafas walked into Ice House; the small establishment quickly filled with tall men in black clothing, making the air feel suffocating.
"How is it? Did you find out anything?" Faisal stood up, somewhat evasively dismissing the bodyguards on either side.
Rafas looked at his nervous demeanor, wondering if this was really such a complicated issue.
"You, repeat what you saw," Faisal shouted coldly at one of the staff members at Ice House.
The staff member was a university student working part-time, and encountering such a situation made her tremble as she spoke: "I saw a very beautiful Eastern girl in the corner by the pillar, hugging an Eastern man and crying very sadly. There were also two other girls around them, seemingly arguing about something."
When Rafas heard that she was hugging a man, his brows furrowed in confusion. He couldn't understand who this little enchantress could know here besides the man beside him.
He gave Mike a glance, and Mike immediately brought a photo in front of the staff member: "Take a look at the person in this photo. Is she the girl you saw?"
The female staff member cautiously looked at the photo, pointing to the one belonging to Yan Wushuang as she answered with her head down: "This beautiful girl is the one hugging that Eastern man, and this is the one arguing with another girl beside her."
She could see clearly because there were only four Eastern faces that day, all of whom were both beautiful and handsome, making her glance at them more than once while going in and out of the kitchen.
Rafas lit his cigar; he should be able to guess who that man was. If he wasn't mistaken, the man who could influence Yan Wushuang's thoughts might only be one person in this world—the man whose name she even called out in her dreams... Long Ze!
Expressionless, he stood up and returned to the luxurious car compartment, quietly smoking his cigar. Although he appeared calm, deep inside he was brewing a war that was about to begin.
He spent the entire night in his study looking at those fragments, thinking it was a joke that she could live freely after leaving him. He had always believed that man would never appear here; now that he had come, it was best—he wanted to see what abilities he had to keep that woman by his side!
He picked up one of the largest fragments tightly in his hand. When he released his grip, a cloud of powder fell from his palm...
This shura-like man was enraged; some corner of this world was about to face destruction. The next morning, on the large screen at Chang Street, news reported that a beloved establishment on Chang Street, Ice House, had caught fire last night for no reason. All personnel inside perished in the flames with no survivors!
Tokyo, Japan.
The helicopter landed at the Yamamoto Family in Tokyo City. Yamamoto Kazuo did not expect his daughter to return so soon but was even more surprised that they brought back two unfamiliar girls.
"Misa, what is going on? Are you going to explain this to me?" Yamamoto Kazuo wondered what had happened during their outing. However, seeing how Long Yi took care of them, he could already imagine what had transpired.
Misa pulled her father aside and explained in detail what happened yesterday. Only then did Yamamoto Kazuo understand the situation; it seemed their identities were not simple!
"General, is this where you will be staying after coming to this world?" Wushuang's gentle gaze met him. With him by her side protecting her, she felt no fear.
Long Yi nodded with a light smile; his gaze towards her was exceptionally gentle, making Ieyako, who had been standing beside them all along, feel quite awkward.
"Cough, cough... there's still a living person here!" Ye Zi lightly coughed a few times to signal her presence.
Yan Wushuang looked at Ye Zi, stepped forward, and took her hand, apologizing with a sincere expression, "Ye Zi, I'm sorry. It's all my fault. If it weren't for me, you could have stayed safely by Faisal's side. I'm really sorry."
"What nonsense are you talking about? If it weren't for meeting you on the black ship back then, and for your help and arrangements, I wouldn't be who I am today. I'm willing to do anything for your happiness," Ye Zi recalled the circumstances of their first meeting, her eyes warming up as she felt tears welling up.
Long Yi watched the two girls who were willing to sacrifice for each other, feeling a warmth in his heart. Such a beautiful person not only possessed an exquisite and refined appearance but also had a kind heart that was most appealing to him!
After Misa explained the situation to her father, Yamamoto Kazuo decided to let them stay for now. As far as he knew, Las Vegas was the base of Solomon. If they had gotten involved with Solomon, things could get complicated.
Misa arranged for them to stay in guest rooms. After nearly ten hours of flying, they must be tired. Long Yi watched them walk into their room and quietly stood outside until the door was closed before he silently left.
Back in his room, Long Yi took out the jade pendant that belonged to him. Suddenly, it felt like a voice was telling him, "Long Aiqing, the princess is entrusted to you; from now on, she will be your General's Wife!"
Looking around, there was no one else; this was his room, and he was alone. Who was that voice? Was it calling him Long Aiqing?
As he gazed at the jade pendant and armor, he became increasingly convinced that his identity was Long Ze. He must be Long Ze!
Meanwhile, Yan Wushuang and Ye Zi were arranged in the same room. To be honest, they were really tired. They had been anxious throughout the journey, but now that they had finally arrived at the Yamamoto Family, they felt much more at ease.
"Ye Zi, get some rest early. I have many stories to tell you tomorrow, including my identity," Yan Wushuang said as she lay down, holding the imitation jade pendant in her hand while her heart had already flown to Long Ze's side.
