Rafas noticed her actions and quickly grabbed her arm as she began to fall. "You damn woman, if you want to die, it's not that easy!" 0

"Let go of me, let go! I hate you, I despise you! I'd rather die than see your face!" Wushuang shouted, flailing her arms in the air. 0

In just a few seconds, the monitoring room had already seen her falling out of the window. The bodyguards rushed to the ground to prevent her from falling further. 0

"Shut up... If you want to die, that's your choice, but thinking it would be that easy is just delusional!" Rafas's eyes were bloodshot as he strained his arm, preparing to pull her back up. 0

Yan Wushuang's body was lifted slightly by him. She thought about what methods he might use to punish her later; it would definitely involve a dark room. She would rather die than be locked away in such a place. 0

She clawed at the back of his hand and deliberately swayed her body in mid-air. Rafas felt a sharp pain in his hand, and her movements caused him to loosen his grip slightly. Wushuang's arm slipped from his grasp, and she fell straight down. 0

"Ah..." Wushuang widened her eyes as she watched his face grow farther away. The rapid descent startled her, and she fainted in mid-air. 0

The bodyguards on the ground formed a group and safely caught the falling Yan Wushuang. Rafas watched helplessly as she fell from his hands, feeling an indescribable mix of emotions; he was overwhelmed with panic, his mind solely focused on her. 0

Seeing that she was safely caught by the bodyguards eased his anxious heart somewhat. He rushed downstairs to catch the unconscious Wushuang. Shouya also arrived immediately after receiving the call. 0

Fortunately, she had only fainted from shock; as long as she rested for a while, she would be fine. Shouya had been unhappy with Rafas's treatment of Wushuang for a long time. Today’s incident of attempted suicide made him wonder if Rafas truly wanted to drive Wushuang to death for his own satisfaction. If he wanted her dead, why go through so much trouble to bring her back from Japan? It would have been simpler to deal with her there or let her die last time. 0

Shouya wore a grim expression in the study, while Rafas was not much better off. The calmest among them was Faisal, who looked at the two brothers' faces and found it difficult to speak. After a moment of thought, he gently asked, "Lefas, have you two had another falling out?" 0

Rafas shot Faisal a glare and threw Yan Wushuang's Scenic Landscape Painting in front of him. Faisal and Shouya were puzzled about what was happening until they picked up the painting and opened it to reveal a magnificent landscape. 0

"This is what she painted. She also drew a sketch of that man. That's why I suspect she has regained her memory. If not, how could she possibly draw that man's likeness? And this painting—she hardly ever goes out; how could she paint these things?" Rafas became increasingly agitated as he spoke. 0

The three men understood that if Yan Wushuang had regained her memory, the conflict between her and Lefas would begin anew—a scenario Shouya dreaded most. He would rather Wushuang remember nothing at all! 0

"Just this isn't enough to prove she's regained her memory; at most, it means there are some familiar people or images in her mind. Don't worry too much. Take her out more often to see new things and meet new people. Don't keep her locked up in the castle all the time with nothing to do but dwell on her past and search for lost memories," Faisal said just as Shouya snatched the painting from his hands. 0

Shouya looked at the magnificent mountains and rivers, wondering how this place could resemble those landscapes. The painting must surely depict China, her hometown! 0

"Is this what you argued with Wushuang about? Did you really push her to the point of wanting to jump?" Shouya questioned, gazing at him in confusion. Did the man before him still have any sense left? Was he still the Rafas he knew? 0

Rafas remained silent, lighting his cigar. Faisal, leisurely sipping a drink while reclining on the sofa, said, "Lefas, don't worry. From what I see, she doesn't seem to be recovering her memories. If she really had regained them, do you think she would still be so calm with you?" 0

"Hmph... Forget it. Talking to him is just a waste of breath. Since Wushuang is fine, my experiments in the lab are still ongoing. I'll take my leave now." Shouya placed the painting on the desk in front of him and left without looking back. 0

Faisal said nothing further, giving him a knowing look before following Shouya. The spacious study was suddenly left with only Rafas. Looking at the open painting on the desk, he thought that perhaps Sharl was right; if she regained her memories, the first thing she would want to do would be to kill him. 0

Back in the bedroom, she had fainted from the shock of her fall. Sitting by her bedside, he felt uneasy, sensing that one day she might leave him for that man! 0

"Don't... don't tear my painting! No..." Yan Wushuang suddenly cried out in her unconscious state, waving her hands in the air. 0

Watching her even in her fainted state thinking about her painting made Rafas feel a pang of discomfort. But then he recalled the scene when she fell, and his heart felt particularly heavy, as if he couldn't catch his breath. 0

He reached out and grasped her flailing hands, pulling her up into his embrace. That damned little enchantress had bewitched his heart; seeing her fall had made him feel pain, fear, and anxiety... 0

Rudely pulled up into his arms, Yan Wushuang instantly woke up, opening her eyes. She truly felt herself held by him and stole a glance around—yes, this was still that familiar bedroom. 0

"Let go of me!" Yan Wushuang said coldly from within his embrace. 0

Her weak voice came from his arms. Rafas loosened his grip and turned her body to face him, looking at her with equal coldness: "You've got enough strength to argue with me; it seems your body is fine." 0

Yan Wushuang turned her cheek away; right now, she hated seeing his face the most. 0

Her stubborn nature hadn't changed at all; pouting slightly as if in defiance, Rafas found her playful demeanor endearing. His anger had long dissipated as he wrapped his arms around her and pressed his cheek against hers, giving her a teasing kiss. 0

"What are you doing?" Yan Wushuang trembled slightly in his arms, looking back at him with some fear. 0

"What's wrong? Are you afraid of my touch?" Rafas removed his Silver Mask, facing her without any concealment. 0

"I... where is my painting?" Instead of answering his question, she asked this, which seemed to displease Rafas. 0

His previously softened expression darkened again. In her heart, did those worthless paintings really matter more than him? 0

"They're burned!" He answered her coldly with those two words. 0

"You... bastard, Big Bad Guy, why did you burn my painting? I worked so hard on it! How could you do this? I hate you, I loathe you!" Her emotions flared up again as she cried out and hit him, wondering why he could be so heartless. 0

"Are you done making a scene? No matter how much you cry, those trash paintings are gone!" Rafas frowned and shook her body vigorously. 0

"Woo... I hate you, I dislike you..." She cried, not listening to his words, only feeling sorrow. 0

The atmosphere in the castle was extremely tense. Yan Wushuang had fallen from the Studio window, leaving all the servants feeling precarious, unsure of their master's current mood. 0

During dinner, Yan Wushuang did not come downstairs. Only Rafas dined alone in the restaurant. Faced with a table full of delicious food, he had no appetite at all. The dinner sent upstairs was only casually eaten by Yan Wushuang before it was taken away. 0

At night, Yan Wushuang slept with her back to him. Rafas looked troubled but merely held her without doing anything unusual. 0

The next morning, when Yan Wushuang woke up, there was no one beside her. Rafas had not returned that night; he hadn't been back for three consecutive days. She wanted to know where he had gone but didn't know how to ask. After gathering her courage to inquire with the butler, he also didn't know where he had gone. Even Mike had not returned. 0

"Hey, Yezi, has Faisal gone on a business trip or something?" Since the butler didn't know, someone must have known. 0

"What happened? Why are you asking like that?" Ieyako asked her curiously. 0

"He hasn't come back for several days, and I want to know where he has gone. But the butler in the castle says he doesn't know, so I thought your Sharl must know." She picked up the phone and hid in her room, not wanting anyone to know she was looking for him. 0

After a pause, Yezi replied, "Sharl has been at the base these past few days, looking quite busy, but I don't know what he's busy with. The master hasn't come by for several days either, and Brother Shouya has gone to New York. I haven't seen any of them." 0

Yan Wushuang felt a chill in her heart. It's strange; where could he have gone? Could it be... 0

Disappointed, she hung up the phone, completely forgetting that she was still on the line with Yezi. Feeling dejected, she lay down on her bed. At that moment, the butler called from outside the door, "Miss Wushuang, the painting that the master instructed to be framed is finished. Where would you like it hung?" 0

A painting? What painting? Yan Wushuang sat up in bed and thought for a moment before saying, "Butler, please bring the painting in for me to see." 0

"Sure." The butler opened the door and brought in the painting. As he tore off the outer wrapping, Yan Wushuang was astonished by what she saw. Isn't this her Scenic Mountains and Rivers? Didn't he say it was burned? 0

A liar! He actually deceived her, Big Bad Guy! 0

"Just put the painting here; you can leave now!" Yan Wushuang placed the painting on her bed. No matter how she looked at it, it made her happy. She picked up the phone and dialed a familiar number—the private number he had left for her. 0

The sound of ringing filled Yan Wushuang's ears. Didn't he say that as long as she dialed this number, she could reach him anytime? 0

Feeling down, she hung up the phone and stared blankly at the painting on her bed. Where could he have gone these past few days? 0

For dinner, she only took a few bites before losing her appetite. In the quiet night, she lay alone in the large bedroom, staring wide-eyed at the ceiling. She couldn't sleep all night long. After two days of this, it was evident that she had lost quite a bit of weight. 0
