"Nagase-kun, make sure to keep a close eye on the situation at the castle. As soon as Wushuang leaves, notify me immediately!" He intended to take Wushuang away, no matter where it led him.
The Yamaguchi-gumi members had been lurking near the castle, ready to report any movements to Yamamoto Ryuichi at the first sign of trouble.
Faisal was surprised by his decision, but there must be a reason behind it. Wushuang held no value for exploitation unless Lefas genuinely wanted to marry her; he couldn't find any other justification.
The three men rarely gathered together at the club. Faisal looked at someone who was glowing with happiness and teased, "Lefas, I didn't expect you to be so impressive. In such a short time, Golden Swallow has already hit the target. How come I never saw you this accurate before?"
"You brat, if you're jealous, hurry back and take care of your little bunny!" He downed his drink in one go. He always had confidence in his accuracy; it just depended on whether he wanted someone to hit the target.
"Shut up, all of you! Don't you have any conscience? Can't you see there's a single man right here?" Shouya was somewhat displeased. They were all talking about these things in front of him without considering his feelings.
Rafas and Faisal turned their gazes toward him and said in unison, "Just you? We don't see anyone!"
"Are you two teaming up to bully me? Just a reminder: it's fine if you want to pick on me, but if one day your Canary or little bunny gets into trouble, don't come looking for me!" He sat down proudly and leisurely poured himself a glass of red wine.
Seeing this arrogant kid, the two decided not to argue with him. The women in the club heard that the three wealthy patrons were in the private room and each thought of ways to get in. If they could entice one of them, they wouldn't have to worry about food and clothing for a long time and would have plenty of dollars to spend.
The bodyguards outside looked at the group of gold-digging women with disdain; they considered them simple-minded and didn't take them seriously.
Back inside the private room, they returned to the main topic. Ever since the ambush at the amusement park in New York, Rafas had focused his efforts on Kogura. He bribed many people under Kogura's command and deliberately leaked his trade secrets, causing significant losses for him. The police in Italy were also efficient and quickly zeroed in on Kogura.
Several major deals that Kogura had were intercepted midway; any partner would prefer not to have a partner embroiled in legal troubles.
Killing Kogura with a single shot was not difficult at all. However, Rafas did not intend to take his life so easily; he nearly suffocated his child. Very well, then let’s use his child as leverage for punishment.

"Since Kogura's incident, there has been no contact from Japan. Yamamoto Ryuichi has been claiming illness and hiding at home like a turtle." Solomon had been secretly monitoring their cooperation; on the surface, it was all business dealings, and they couldn't interfere.
"No rush. Yamamoto Ryuichi is just a minor character. No matter how well he manages Yamaguchi-gumi, he will always be an ant that I can easily crush!" When talking about this man, Rafas's gaze instantly became deep and serious.
Shouya kicked Faisal and asked why they were bringing up this man for no reason.
"Alright, you guys keep drinking. I have something to take care of first!" Rafas finished his last drink, picked up his coat, and stood up to leave.
Hearing that he was leaving, Faisal downed his drink as well and wanted to leave together. This prompted Shouya to stop them: "You two heartless guys! Once you have women, you forget about your brothers, huh?"
"Come on, don't be so angry. You can find one too, can't you? There are plenty out there. With your skills, can’t you conquer those girls outside?" Faisal pulled him outside and pointed at a group of women waiting outside.
Rafas couldn't be bothered with them anymore; he had already left the club and got into his car to leave first.
The glamorous women posed in their most seductive and beautiful ways, trying to catch their attention. Faisal hated such pretentious women; unable to stand it any longer, he patted his brother on the shoulder and left first.
Shouya looked at the group of women. In the past, he enjoyed lingering among them, but now he wasn't keen on having any interactions with them anymore. He quickly followed Faisal's footsteps and disappeared from the club, leaving a group of gold diggers extremely disappointed!
The castle was brightly lit on that night. Yan Wushuang leaned against the headboard, reading a book, while Rafas thought she had already fallen asleep. Seeing her still straining her mind, he snatched the book from her hands.
"Stop reading and go to sleep immediately!" he ordered, tossing the book onto the bedside table.
"Lefas, I can't sleep. Maybe I napped too long this afternoon; I have no sleepiness at all!" When she saw him return, Yan Wushuang instinctively nestled into his arms, absorbing the familiar scent that enveloped him.
"Regardless of whether you can sleep or not, pregnant women need to rest more at night. If you don't rest, the baby won't rest either. Do you think that's good?" He took off his coat and lay down beside her, having grown accustomed to the feeling of having her in his embrace.
"Alright, then I'll sleep. But didn't you say at noon that you would take me out tomorrow?" It was rare for her to have the chance to go out, and she certainly wouldn't let this opportunity slip by.
Rafas looked at her eager little face and realized she had indeed been cooped up for too long. He leaned down and gently kissed her lips, giving her a sense of reassurance. "That's right; I promised you could go out tomorrow. However, I have to sign a contract at the company first. I've arranged for Mike to protect you, and Shouya will pick up Yezi so you can all go out together. Once I'm done with my work, I'll rush over to keep you company. Is that satisfactory?"
"Mm..." Wushuang smiled happily; it had been a long time since she last saw Yezi.
"Then if you're satisfied, go to sleep. If you're not in good spirits tomorrow, this plan is canceled!" Rafas knew how to use this as leverage against her. Upon hearing this, Wushuang obediently lay down and closed her eyes to relax and rest.
Seeing her behavior, Rafas couldn't help but smile with satisfaction. He leaned down and gently whispered in her ear, "Baby, you sleep first; I'll take a shower and be right back with you!"
She nodded with her eyes closed. Rafas removed his mask and walked into the bathroom. Looking at himself in the mirror, he realized that in just over eight months, he would become a father. For someone like him who had done so many bad things, it seemed that even he would have a day as a father; it appeared that heaven was not too harsh on him.
The sound of running water echoed in the bathroom. Listening to this sound made Wushuang feel particularly relaxed. Soon enough, she drifted off into a deep sleep. By the time Rafas came out, she was already sound asleep.
He gently lifted her into his arms, placing his large hand on her small belly, feeling the tiny life within her that had yet to take shape. That was their shared creation, and he eagerly anticipated the arrival of this little one who would receive all the best things in the world from them!
Rafas left for the company early in the morning. After Yan Wushuang carefully dressed up, she left the castle under the protection of Mike and four bodyguards. As soon as their car drove out, those who had been secretly monitoring from the shadows immediately reported back to Yamamoto Ryuichi.
Yezi and Shouya arrived at their destination early. Rafas did not allow her to wander around the streets, and the biggest concession was the shopping mall. Two beautiful girls walked ahead, followed closely by a group of men, startling passersby with their imposing presence.
"Wushuang, how old is your child now? Have you taken maternity leave?" Yezi asked curiously, noticing that Wushuang's figure had not changed at all.
"Lefas said Brother Shouya is the best doctor, so there's no need to go to the hospital for a check-up. The baby is only a little over a month old; it's still early," Wushuang replied casually, reaching down to touch her abdomen. In a few months, her belly would start to show.
Even with a group of people protecting her, Rafas was still uneasy and insisted that Shouya accompany them. With him as the doctor, he could handle any emergencies that might arise.
Now that Wushuang was expecting, she frequently darted into baby supply stores. Excited by all the items for infants, she bought everything she saw. Fortunately, they had enough bodyguards with them today.
Yamamoto Ryuichi had been tailing them closely. No matter what, he had to take Wushuang away today; if he missed this opportunity, he didn't know how long he would have to wait for another chance.
Seeing that they had bought too many items, Mike ordered two attendants to return the things they were carrying to the car while the others continued to follow them up to the clothing section on the third floor.
"Wushuang, come look at this dress! It will fit you perfectly in a few months," Yezi exclaimed excitedly, pointing at a dress on a model.
Yan Wushuang walked over to take a look. It was indeed quite nice and in a style she liked—a cream lace chiffon dress designed with adjustable straps at the waist to accommodate a growing belly.
The sales assistant immediately recognized their special status and approached them enthusiastically, introducing several new arrivals for her to try on.
After changing into the first outfit, Wushuang realized that since her baby was still so small, her figure hadn't changed at all. Wearing such loose maternity wear made her smile foolishly at her reflection in the mirror.
