The waiting time was long, but what else could they do besides wait?
Shouya had been monitoring Kogura's location via satellite from the base. After more than ten hours, his current coordinates indicated that he had entered Japan. It seemed he was heading to Tokyo, where there were many people, making it harder to find him quickly.
Understanding his intentions, Shouya immediately contacted Yamamoto Ryuichi in Japan, urging him to find a way to capture Kogura. At the same time, Rafas was rushing toward Japan at full speed and would arrive in Tokyo in about an hour.
On the helicopter, after more than ten hours of flight, Wushuang and Yezi had finally regained consciousness. The reality before them caused them to panic, but they had no choice now; they could only hope that Rafas knew they were kidnapped and would come to rescue them soon.
Annie emerged from the inner cabin, looking down at Wushuang. It was all this woman's fault; if it weren't for her appearance, Lefas would never have abandoned her.
Watching her coldly, the resentment inside Wushuang surged. Suddenly... with a loud "slap," Smith Annie unexpectedly slapped Wushuang across the face, her twisted expression looking arrogantly at her: "You wretched woman... I told you that if one day you fell into my hands, I would make sure you wouldn't have it easy. Now that you are finally in my grasp, your good days are over!"
"Miss Smith, I know you have always misunderstood me. You think I stole Lefas from you, but do you know that I never wanted to stay by his side? If you hadn't sold me that day but instead hidden me in China, he might never have found me, and you two could have been together!" Wushuang's hands were bound by ropes; she felt like a tiny ant facing Annie, with no chance to fight back.
Annie looked at Wushuang's swollen cheek from her slap and felt a sense of satisfaction. However, Wushuang's words held some truth; if she had hidden in China back then and Lefas couldn't find her, perhaps the woman beside Lefas today would still be herself. But what had happened was already in the past; regretting it now was useless.
"Shut up... You despicable woman have no right to lecture me. Now that you're in my hands, let's see how you can escape!" Annie had already thought of how to deal with her. Pure and innocent? If she had been with dozens of men, let's see what Lefas would think of her then.
"Miss Smith, please have some self-respect. You are a socialite; how can you collude with these people?" Yezi couldn't stand it any longer; this woman was vicious and wouldn't let them go easily.
Annie shifted her gaze to Yan Wushuang's companion and snorted dismissively: "You little slut don't seem like anything special either. Just look at how you're flirting with Faisal; it's clear you're both just cheap trash!"
"You... when it comes to being cheap, no one can compare to you, Smith Annie!" Yezi retorted angrily. In fact, she had heard Kogura mentioned by Faisal before; just by seeing how Faisal looked at Wushuang earlier, she knew he must be infatuated with her. As long as he was around, she believed he wouldn't let this crazy woman harm them.
Annie's face turned dark with anger. This little girl dared to talk back even when facing death! She couldn't wait to teach this little wretch a lesson!
Without saying another word, Annie kicked toward Yezi, whose hands were tied. Wushuang saw Yezi getting hit and rushed forward to protect her with her own body.
"You are looking for death, aren't you? Then I'll grant your wish!" Annie saw them protecting each other and showed no mercy as she kicked towards Wushuang and Yezi, her stiletto heels digging into their bodies, causing them to break out in a thin layer of sweat from the pain.
Luca watched as the two beauties were being beaten. He initially wanted to step in and stop Smith Annie, but it felt inappropriate to just approach her. So he quietly slipped away to the cockpit to find Kogura. "Master, Smith Annie seems to have gone mad; she keeps kicking those two women. Her kicks look pretty harsh. Do you want to go over and stop her?"
Kogura knew this woman would go crazy. He left the cockpit and ran back. Smith Annie was still punching and kicking them like a lunatic, cursing at them as she did.
"Stop it! What is happening? Why are you attacking them?" Kogura stepped forward and pulled Annie away, seeing Wushuang's pained expression made his heart ache. He didn't care how Annie looked at him; he crouched down to check Wushuang's injuries.
Yan Wushuang remained silent as Kogura lifted her arm, carefully examining the bruises on her skin. This woman was too brutal; she was harsher than any man showing pity towards a woman.
Kogura was her man now, yet here he was treating this despicable woman so well. How could she swallow this anger?
With wide, furious eyes, she pulled Kogura close to her and pointed at Wushuang, shouting at him, "What do you mean by treating this despicable woman so well? Don't forget that if it weren't for me, would you have been able to escape the police's pursuit?"
Kogura hated being threatened by anyone, especially by a brainless woman like her. He shook off her hand and looked at her disdainfully. "Dear Miss Smith, I know you've helped me a lot, and you know it too. I've always been using you. If you're willing to be used by me, then don't waste my time with your nonsense! As for what I think of her—can't you see? From the moment she appeared in front of me, I decided I must have this woman as mine!"
"You... bastard! I'm your woman now! You promised me you wouldn't touch her!" Smith Annie rushed forward and tightly grasped his hand.
As they were approaching Tokyo, Japan, he could use Yan Wushuang to blackmail Yamamoto Ryuichi for help. As for this woman—she had no value left for him.
He shook off her hand; he simply didn't care about women who had lost their usefulness. "Dear, I did promise you on this plane that I wouldn't touch her. She tightly wrapped her arms around his arm again, pressing her soft body against him. One small hand circled on his chest as she leaned seductively against his shoulder and said, "No! I don't want that! I want to follow you!"
Kogura looked quite flirtatious, truly befitting a high-class hostess. She could change her demeanor in an instant. Since she was being sensible, he wasn't going to be an unreasonable man, especially towards women.
The commotion came to an end. Wushuang and Yezi leaned against each other. Fortunately, their injuries were just bruises and not serious. However, Wushuang recalled from their earlier conversation that Kogura mentioned they were already in Japan. What should they do? Did Lefas know they had been brought to Japan?
The helicopter landed in a relatively secluded area, which belonged to a vacation house. The owner of the vacation house was originally Kogura, but after her incident, the government confiscated it. All valuable items inside had been cleared out, preparing to be mortgaged and auctioned off at the bank. They planned to hide here for a few days, which should not pose any problems.
Yamamoto Ryuichi received the exact location from Shouya. Wasn't this place Kogura's vacation house? This was indeed the secret meeting spot when Kogura came to Japan.
He gathered his men and rushed toward the vacation house. He was extremely worried about Wushuang. He wondered if that lecherous Kogura would do something unspeakable to her.
After hiding the helicopter well, he knew that Kogura wasn't foolish. Staying here so openly was clearly a trap waiting for Rafas to catch him. He led a group of people into the kitchen. When he built this vacation house, he had dug out a basement in the kitchen area as a backup escape route, placing the entrance beneath the cabinet. Opening the cabinet revealed just enough space for an adult to crawl inside.
While everyone was distracted, Kogura opened the entrance to the basement. A square opening appeared beneath the cabinet, leading down below. It seemed he truly was cunning.
The basement received no signals because he had installed anti-jamming equipment there. Even if Rafas's satellite detection system confirmed that he had entered the vacation house, finding him would not be easy. If Rafas had the capability, he could burn down the vacation house; even if it were reduced to rubble, it wouldn't affect him at all—he could simply avoid using this entrance!
Rafas also arrived over Japan, heading straight for the suburban vacation house outside Tokyo City, following the precise location given by Shouya. Yamamoto Ryuichi ordered his men to infiltrate the vacation house and force open the cold iron door. After more than twenty people rushed inside and searched everywhere, they only found a helicopter hidden in the garage, but it was empty—there was no sign of anyone inside the vacation house.
"How is this possible?" Long Yi said as he walked through the vacation house. It wasn't very large; it had front and back yards with a three-story villa situated in between. The garage was next to the pool in the backyard, allowing them to see everything at a glance. With so many people present, where could they possibly hide?
After searching both inside and outside thoroughly, they realized this was a suburban area with hardly any places to conceal themselves nearby. Kogura and her group took Wushuang and Yezi with them—there were at least six or seven people in total—where could they have gone?
