"How many days will you be gone? When do you think you'll be back? I can take Yuanji to pick you up when you return," she said, looking at the son in his arms who had already fallen asleep. She took him from his hands and placed him on the bed to make him more comfortable.
"I'll be in New York for about three days, plus two days for the round trip, so it should be around five days. You two just stay home and wait for me. Looking at his son's adorable little face, Yamamoto Ryuichi felt immense joy in his heart. He spent the entire morning playing with him until he finally packed his bags in the afternoon to head to New York.
"Misa, take good care of our son while I'm gone!" His very ordinary statement made Misa feel sweet inside as she looked at their son; indeed, time and familial love were the most effective.
The plane slowly took off as Yamamoto Ryuichi headed towards New York in the United States. In fact, he had lied last night; he could have returned a day earlier but deliberately delayed it by a day. The reason was something everyone could guess without saying.
New York wasn't far from Las Vegas, and it only took a little over three hours by plane. He could easily make a round trip in one day; he just wanted to visit Wushuang while Rafas was in England and spend a few days talking with her!
He didn't dare tell Misa, fearing she would overthink things. Little did he know that this kind-hearted action would lead to later tragedy...
Rafas had already been in England for four days. He had arranged all internal matters regarding the land acquisition project and Halsen Group. Morina would temporarily serve as the Executive President of Halson, while he remained the chairman behind the scenes!
Regarding this decision, the Board of Directors was shocked that three members of the Royal Family would take on the position of their president. However, with this connection, the group is sure to thrive in the future, and everyone is optimistic about Rafas's decision.
"What do you mean? How could your family let such a prestigious position as the chairman of the board be taken so easily? Now, not only has the property been seized by the bank, but the whole family has been forced to move out. What's worse is that my brother, who is so eager to rise in status, has actually been appointed as the CEO. Where am I supposed to put my face now?" Andrei was furious upon hearing the news brought back by his wife, Anna.
His brother seemed to excel in everything; he had previously secured a position representing the British Government in communication with Monica and recently facilitated a collaboration plan with Monica. Now he had managed to curry favor with Rafas and secured the position of CEO at Halsen Group!
Andrei felt like a failure. He had hoped that marrying Anna would provide him some backing from her influential father, but due to his involvement in drug-related issues, he had dragged her down with him. Now his mother was indifferent towards him, and it seemed like he was truly doomed.
"Dear, please don't say that. Do you think we wanted things to turn out this way? My mother is still lying in the hospital because of this situation, and my father is imprisoned. You have no idea how upset my father was when I visited him yesterday and told him about this; he almost fainted from anger. Thankfully, his health is stable," Annie said as she linked her arm with his, looking equally despondent.
Andrei realized that getting angry at anyone was pointless; all his frustration fell on Tony for ruining what used to be a well-organized group and turning it into chaos.
"Alright, it seems we are not destined for greatness. But now that your family's property and cars have been seized by the bank, what are we going to do? Are we expected to support them for life?" Andrei asked his wife with concern.
Anna pulled him back onto the sofa and said, "We can't stay in England anymore. Fortunately, when Annie divorced Rafas, she received a house and a car. So Annie and my mother will move to Las Vegas. They have some savings, and if the company can provide dividends, my mother will also receive some money. They should be fine living in Las Vegas. As for Tony, he said he wants to stay in England to continue seeking opportunities; I can't control him anymore!"

Soon enough, as Andrei had predicted, Morina officially took over as CEO of Halson. Queen Windsor had already been considering her successor in her heart; it could only be Third Prince Morina!

After finishing a call with Misa where he deceived her into thinking he would sign the agreement tomorrow and return to Japan right away—when in fact he had already signed it that morning—he prepared for his trip to Las Vegas.
In a European-style castle in Las Vegas, Yan Wushuang was just two weeks away from her due date. She had just finished a call with Rafas; he had taken care of matters in England and would be back tomorrow. When she woke up tomorrow night after sleeping, she would finally see him!
“Wushuang, be careful while walking. You are now a key protection target.” Shouya and An Xin Ya accompanied her for the last prenatal check-up. Once Rafas returns tomorrow, they will prepare for her scheduled surgery.
Yan Wushuang was heavily pregnant, and walking was particularly difficult for her. An Xin Ya and Shouya supported her carefully as they helped her into the car.
“I’m exhausted; these two kids are really a handful!” Yan Wushuang said, contentedly rubbing her swollen belly. Since she was carrying twins, her belly was larger than usual, making it even more challenging for her as a mother.

For Yan Wushuang’s safety, Shouya personally drove, keeping the speed very steady. To prevent any unforeseen incidents, he had Yan Wushuang hold onto a pillow in front of her to cushion against any sudden situations.
They arrived safely at the hospital; this would be the last Ultrasound check-up. Since Shouya was a man, he couldn’t go in and wait outside while Xinya accompanied her inside.
“Ding…” Shouya’s phone suddenly rang. He looked at the number and saw it was an unknown caller. Who could it be?
Regardless of who it was, he pressed the answer button as usual. “Who is this?”
“Hello, sorry to bother you, I am Yamamoto Ryuichi!” came a polite greeting.
“What brings you here? How did you get my number?” Shouya asked curiously, wondering what this man wanted.
“Don’t worry about how I got the number. I’m currently in Las Vegas, at your hospital. I just want to meet Wushuang, to chat with her for a bit. I hope you can help me arrange this; please…” he earnestly requested, leaving Shouya unsure if he could agree.
The two talked for a long time. Long Yi shared everything he knew with him. He understood that there would no longer be any possibility between him and Wushuang, but he still hoped to see her occasionally. Taking advantage of his trip to New York, he wished to meet her once.
Understanding his intentions and noting that Lefas was also not in Las Vegas, Shouya saw that he meant no harm and agreed to arrange a meeting between him and Wushuang.
Yan Wushuang and An Xinya walked out of the Ultrasound Room with joyful smiles. Both children were developing healthily, which made Yan Wushuang particularly happy.
"Wushuang, come with me for a moment. There's an old friend of yours who wants to see you!" Shouya approached them as they came out, supporting Wushuang and leading her toward a certain hospital room.
"Brother Shouya, who is it?" Wushuang had no idea who it could be.
When they reached the door of the hospital room, Shouya let her go in by herself while he waited outside with Xinya.

"Madam, please don't panic. We need to get the young master to the hospital for emergency treatment!" Misa had just left Yuanji for a moment when she suddenly noticed that the child's face looked somewhat off. She reached out to touch him and found his body temperature was burning hot.
Misa frantically called for the older maid in the house, suggesting they immediately take him to the hospital for emergency care!
All the way, Misa kept trying to call Long Yi, but why wasn't his phone connecting? Where could he have gone?
The child's sudden high fever made Misa anxious and flustered. Holding the child in her arms made her hands tremble as she looked at his pale face; her heart felt cold.
"Don't be afraid, my child. Mommy is here with you; everything will be fine..." She held the child tightly as the car sped down the highway.
