Shouya walked in and saw her frowning. He gently placed his hands on her shoulders, looking at her with soft eyes, a smile curving at the corners of his mouth as he said, "I noticed your family's refrigerator was old, so I got you a new one!" 0

"This..." An Xin Ya's brows furrowed even tighter. She truly didn't know what to say about Brother Shouya's help. 0

"By the way, come and take a look at the refrigerator I bought for you," Shouya said, guiding An Xin Ya into the kitchen. Although she couldn't see, she could touch and feel around. 0

"Brother Shouya, how did you get into my house?" An Xin Ya asked, puzzled. 0

"Well, I... made a spare key while you weren't paying attention. Please don't misunderstand; I didn't want you to have to open the door for me every time..." Shouya explained awkwardly. He had made a mental note when she opened the door for him that day and then had a key made. 0

An Xin Ya remained silent, gradually letting go of her wariness towards him. 0

"In the future, you can store vegetables, meat, fish, fruits, and so on..." Shouya opened the refrigerator and began categorizing the items he had just bought from the market, placing them inside. He helped An Xin Ya touch and identify where everything was located. 0

An Xin Ya felt a cool breeze and knew this was a high-quality refrigerator. Unlike her grandmother's old one that had been used for over ten years and recently developed issues—despite having called a repairman who fixed it only for more problems to arise—her grandmother had decided not to repair it anymore and left it unused. 0

"Brother Shouya, you are so good to me and Grandma. I really don't know how to repay you!" An Xin Ya said sincerely. 0

"You don't need to be so polite," Shouya replied as he closed the refrigerator and turned to tidy up the kitchen. Afterward, he cooked some pig liver and lean meat porridge for An Xin Ya to eat. 0

After finishing breakfast, they headed out. 0

They encountered quite a few familiar faces in the morning—neighbors and acquaintances who saw this young man carrying large bags of items into An Xin Ya's home every day. They watched as he helped An Xin Ya downstairs, assisted her into the car, drove her to visit Grandma An at the hospital, and then brought her back afterward. 0

Everyone noticed these gestures and thought highly of this young man; it was rare for someone to be so dedicated in helping An Xin Ya. 0

That day, Grandma An's health was recovering quickly; she could get out of bed and walk. The doctor advised against going to the park downstairs in the hospital, so An Xin Ya supported Grandma An as they walked along the corridor, chatting with her. 0

Shouya pushed the wheelchair just in case, walking alongside the two of them, the grandmother and granddaughter. 0

Grandma An felt a bit tired and wanted to return to her room to rest, so she sat in the wheelchair, with Shouya pushing her back to the hospital room while An Xin Ya held his hand and walked slowly beside them. 0

"Oh, my old bones are useless! Look, after just a few steps, I'm dizzy and my legs are weak..." Grandma An gently patted her legs. 0

"Grandma, you're talking nonsense again. You'll get better!" An Xin Ya disliked hearing her grandmother say such discouraging things and pouted as she spoke. 0

When they returned to the hospital room, Shouya carefully helped Grandma An up and then assisted her in sitting on the bed. 0

Grandma An leaned against the bed, looked at Shouya, then at her granddaughter, took their hands, her eyes filled with infinite hope, and softly said, "If one day I kick the bucket, I will entrust Xinya to you. You must take good care of her; don’t let her suffer any grievances..." 0

"Grandma!" An Xin Ya felt awkward, knowing what her grandmother meant. She quickly interrupted her, "Do you even know what you're saying? This is ridiculous! If you keep saying such depressing things, I'm going to get angry!!" 0

Shouya gazed affectionately at An Xin Ya, willing to take care of her and not wanting her to suffer even a little. 0

"Alright, alright, I won't say anything more," Grandma An saw her granddaughter turning away from her and realized she was truly upset, so she had no choice but to compromise. The reason she said that was for Xinya's sake; she wanted to see her find lifelong happiness and a partner before she could leave in peace. 0

"Okay!" An Xin Ya finally calmed down. 0

"I'm tired and need to lie down for a bit!" Seeing this, Shouya stepped forward to help Grandma An lie down and covered her with a blanket. 0

"Grandma needs to rest; I'll take you back," once Grandma An closed her eyes, Shouya looked at An Xin Ya and said. 0

"I want to stay here with Grandma!" An Xin Ya replied. 0

At that moment, Grandma An suddenly opened her eyes and looked at her granddaughter, saying, "You should go home with Shouya. If you're here, I can't sleep!" 0

Hearing her grandmother say this, An Xin Ya had nothing to say. Grandma An gave Shouya a knowing glance, and Shouya understood, stepping forward to support An Xin Ya and whispering in her ear, "Let's go, we shouldn't disturb Grandma's rest." 0

Reluctantly, An Xin Ya stood up and, with Shouya's assistance, walked out of the hospital room. 0

Just as they were leaving the hospital, someone called out to Shouya. 0

Shouya turned around and saw the Attending Physician in a white coat striding towards him with a smile, saying, "Mr. Shouya, I've organized the information you requested!" 0

"Thank you, Doctor!" Shouya replied as he took the documents from the Attending Physician's hands; it was information regarding ophthalmology. 0

The Attending Physician glanced at An Xin Ya beside him, recognizing her as the granddaughter of Grandma An from room X. She looked sweet and pure, exuding a fresh and clean aura, like a white cloud drifting in a clear blue sky. But seeing her beautiful eyes, vacant and unfocused as they stared ahead, made it clear that Shouya needed this information for her. 0

The doctor smiled and nodded at him before turning to leave. 0

After the doctor left, An Xin Ya curiously asked Shouya, "What information did he give you?" 0

"Oh, it's nothing!" Shouya smiled, not wanting An Xin Ya to know that he had been tirelessly searching for information and consulting various doctors to treat her eye injury. 0

Since he didn't want to talk about it, she didn't press him further. 0

Once they got into the car, Shouya glanced at the documents in his hand before carefully placing them into his briefcase. 0

He drove her back to the small town, helped her up to the second floor of her home, and then cooked for her. The two of them shared a meal together. 0

Today, An Xin Ya seemed somewhat silent. Shouya found it strange and asked her what was wrong. She merely smiled without speaking and continued to eat with her head down. 0

During this time, Shouya had almost replaced all of the old items in An Xin Ya's home with new ones. The once old house suddenly felt refreshed and new. 0

Unfortunately, An Xin Ya could not see it; otherwise, she would have exclaimed how beautiful it was. 0

One day, when An Xin Ya was not at home, Shouya searched for her everywhere. He went to the hospital but couldn't find her. Finally, he thought of a place: Maria Music Training Class. He hurriedly drove there and saw her just as she was leaving class, accompanied by several classmates, one of whom was Yuga. 0

He finally felt relieved. Her sudden disappearance had truly worried him. 0

Yuga spotted her and beamed with a bright smile as she ran over to him, her eyes sparkling with excitement. She looked up at Shouya and said, "Uncle Shouya, long time no see! You must be here to pick up Sister Anxi!" 0

Shouya smiled slightly at Yuga, gently stroking her cute little face before walking over to An Xin Ya. Seeing her calm expression made him frown slightly as he said, "Why didn't you tell me you were coming to school? Do you know how worried I was?" 0

"I... The school called last night and asked when I would come to class. So I thought that since I need to take care of my grandmother and can't miss my classes, I decided to come today. After class, I'll go visit my grandmother at the hospital." 0

Shouya quietly looked at her; it turned out he had misunderstood her. He apologized, realizing that perhaps he had been too anxious. Not seeing her made him feel flustered and at a loss. 0

Yuga noticed the urgency and tenderness in Uncle Shouya's eyes, along with a hint of affection, indicating how much he truly cared for Sister Anxi. 0

Today, Yuga kept chatting about Uncle Shouya, even accidentally revealing that he had come to see Sister Anxi play the piano for several days in a row. 0

An Xin Ya was quite surprised and said, "It really is him." 0

Yuga chuckled to herself and then walked over to Sister Anxi, linking arms with her. She glanced at Uncle Shouya and then back at Sister Anxi, smiling as she said, "Sister Anxi, I'm really envious of you; someone treats you so well." 0

An Xin Ya felt a bit stunned inside, and her face flushed red. She shyly replied, "Yuga, stop talking nonsense; Brother Shouya and I are just friends." 0

"Friends? Is it really that simple?" Yuga teased with a smile as she glanced at Uncle Shouya. 0

"I assure you that Xinya and I are truly just friends." Not wanting An Xin Ya to feel embarrassed, Shouya quickly stepped in to clarify. 0

"It's okay, we're friends now, and it will develop into a romantic relationship later. Oh, by the way, when you two get married, make sure to invite me!" Yuga said happily. 0

After Yuga's words, An Xin Ya's face turned as red as a ripe apple. 0

Shouya also felt a bit shy, but he maintained his composure and changed the subject, asking Yuga, "Do you want to grab a bite to eat together?" 0

"Thank you for the kind offer, Uncle Shouya!" Yuga winked at him and said, "I think I'll pass on being a third wheel. You two enjoy your meal; I'm heading back!" 0

With that, Yuga waved goodbye and walked over to the bus stop. 0

"Get in the car!" Shouya said as he helped An Xin Ya into the vehicle. 0

Shouya got in as well and noticed An Xin Ya with her eyes downcast, her cheeks still flushed. A smile involuntarily crept onto his handsome face, and his eyes sparkled with a glimmer of light. He started the engine and smoothly drove onto the road. 0

"Do you want to visit Grandma at the hospital first or head home?" Shouya asked while driving. 0

An Xin Ya snapped back to reality, her beautiful eyes gazing ahead. It took her a moment to respond, "Oh, let's go to the hospital to see Grandma first!" 0

The rest of the ride was quiet as each of them lost in their thoughts... 0
