Shouya felt a bit oppressed by the silence, so he turned on some music and played a calm and elegant piece. 0

Upon arriving at the hospital, Shouya and An Xin Ya went inside together. As usual, he helped her walk down the corridor and they chatted for a while. After some time, she felt tired again and returned to her hospital room to lie down. 0

Grandma An looked at her granddaughter and said, "Xinya, I'm feeling much better now. You don't need to come to the hospital every day." 0

"But Grandma, I..." An Xin Ya was worried about her grandmother; she dreamed about her every night. 0

"This child, why are you so disobedient? You can come see me every two or three days instead. Anyway, I'm not going to die anytime soon," Grandma An said with a frown, looking at her granddaughter with concern. She understood that Xinya was worried about her, but it felt burdensome for Shou Zhi to help out every day. 0

Hearing that her grandmother was upset, An Xin Ya became anxious and quickly replied, "Grandma, please don't be angry. I'll listen to you." 0

"That's more like it!" Grandma An said with a smile as she gently stroked her granddaughter's cheek. 0

"The doctor said you can be discharged next week," Shouya chimed in at that moment, trying to reassure An Xin Ya. 0

An Xin Ya was taken aback for a moment, then her face lit up with joy as she exclaimed, "Really? Grandma can go home next week?" 0

"Yes!" 0

An Xin Ya was overjoyed and tightly held her grandmother's hand, saying, "Grandma, you can go home next week!" 0

Grandma An was also quite happy; she didn't know why she felt so good lately, perhaps because she saw that An Xin Ya was about to have her own springtime. 0

Seeing both of them smiling made Shouya feel happy as well. 0

After leaving the hospital, Shouya drove An Xin Ya back home and noticed that she couldn't hide her excitement. 0

"Oh right, here you go!" Shouya took out a smartphone from his pocket and placed it in her hands. 0

An Xin Ya took it and touched it curiously, asking, "What is this?" 0

"Phone," Shouya said. 0

"Why are you giving me a phone?" 0

"I saw you didn't have one, so I bought you a phone to make it easier for us to stay in touch." 0

"Thank you, Brother Shouya, but I can't accept this." An Xin Ya returned the phone to him. She felt very grateful for all the help he had given her before, and now that he was giving her a phone, she thought she shouldn't accept any more of his kindness. 0

Shouya frowned, knowing she felt embarrassed to accept it. He said to her, "If you consider me your Brother Shouya, then just take it." 0

Once he said that, An Xin Ya didn't know how to respond and could only silently accept the phone he had bought for her. 0

When they returned to the small town, Shouya initially wanted to help her cook, but he received an urgent call from Faisal on the way and had to return to the base. 0

"Brother Shouya, if you have something urgent, you can go back first. I can manage on my own," An Xin Ya noticed something. Her sensitive hearing picked up on his urgency, and she smiled at him. 0

Shouya looked at her and felt a bit uneasy leaving her alone at home. He squatted down, looked up at her with gentle eyes mixed with concern. "Just take care of yourself. Don't wander around too much. Also, some things in the kitchen can be dangerous; don't mess with them. If you're hungry, you can go eat at the little shop downstairs. And if you need anything, just call my number..." 0

Listening to him ramble on, An Xin Ya suddenly burst out laughing. 0

Shouya looked at her in confusion, not understanding what was so funny. 0

"You really sound like my grandmother; she's just as chatty," An Xin Ya said with a smile. 0

Shouya stared at her blankly for a moment. Hearing her say that made him laugh too. "Your grandmother cares about you; of course, I'm doing this for your sake as well!" 0

His words made An Xin Ya feel a bit embarrassed, and a light blush appeared on her beautiful face. 0

Seeing the blush on her cheeks, Shouya instinctively realized that his words might have caused a misunderstanding. However, everything he said was sincere; he truly wanted what was best for her. 0

"Well, I'm leaving now. Remember what I said!" Shouya stood up, walked to the door, and reminded her once more. 0

"Okay, got it, Brother Shouya. I will," An Xin Ya replied. 0

Only then did Shouya feel relieved as he left An Xin Ya's home, hurried down the stairs, got into his car, and drove towards the base. 0

"Shouya, I haven't seen you back at the base lately. Where have you been? I heard someone saw you with a beautiful woman in your car. Is that true?" Upon returning to the base, Rafas held a meeting, and after it ended, Faisal kept asking him this and that. 0

Shouya wore a look of surprise on his face as he looked at Faisal and asked in astonishment, "Who said that?" 0

"The bodyguards at the base! They saw it by chance while on a mission," Faisal said, noticing Shouya's surprised expression and realizing something was off. 0

"That's not true. Don't listen to their nonsense; they must have seen it wrong!" Shouya felt anxious inside but maintained a calm demeanor as he said coolly, "I have to go." 0

Faisal watched him leave the base and called out loudly, "Hey, where are you going? Let's grab a drink at the bar tonight." 0

"I have things to do!" Shouya politely declined him. 0

This guy must be hiding something from him, but he wasn't the type to pry into others' business, so he couldn't be bothered! 0

Entering the garage, he sat in the driver's seat, started the engine, and drove away from the base. Shouya glanced at the time; it was already past seven in the evening, and the sky was gradually darkening. 0

He still felt uneasy about An Xin Ya. As he drove along, he turned the steering wheel and took a turn towards the small town. 0

Arriving downstairs at An Xin Ya's building, Shouya parked his car, got out, and hurried up to the second floor. Noticing there were no lights on inside made him anxious; he raised his hand and knocked on the door. "Xinya, are you there?" 0

"Who is it?" An Xin Ya was sitting on her bed reading braille when she heard the knock and instinctively became alert. She slightly tilted her ear to listen. 0

Hearing An Xin Ya's voice from inside reassured him that she was home; the anxiety that had been hanging over him slowly dissipated. 0

"It’s me!" 0

A voice from outside the door belonged to Shouya. An Xin Ya relaxed her guard, closed the door, got off the bed, and walked over to open it. Her hollow, glistening eyes lifted as she curiously asked, "Brother Shouya, what brings you here?" 0

"I came because I was worried about you," Shouya said gently. Noticing the darkness inside, he frowned and asked, "Why don’t you turn on the lights?" 0

"There’s no need to turn on the lights because I can’t see. It’s just dark in front of me; even if I turned them on, it would only waste electricity." 0

Her simple statement left Shouya momentarily stunned, at a loss for words. 0

An Xin Ya didn’t hear his response and then invited him in to sit down. She fumbled to turn on the light and then made her way into the kitchen to pour him a glass of water. 0

"Have you eaten yet?" Shouya asked as he took the water from her hand, softly saying thank you. 0

"I’ve already eaten. I had a bowl of Pasta at a shop downstairs; their food is really delicious," An Xin Ya said, a subtle smile gracing her lips. 0

"Are you feeling hungry now? If you are, I can go make you something to eat," Shouya said, furrowing his brow. Could just one bowl of Rice Noodle Rolls really fill her up? 0

"No need, Brother Shouya. I'm really full. Besides, it’s already evening; it’s not good to eat too much now." 0

Shouya didn’t say anything further. He noticed a book lying on her bed; it seemed she had been reading to pass the time. He asked her knowingly, "Xinya, what were you doing just now?" 0

"Just reading!" she replied. For someone like her who was blind and couldn’t see, reading usually meant feeling with her hands. 0

"When do you rest?" Shouya looked at her, and under the light, her thick and slightly curled eyelashes cast a thin shadow on her eyelids, making her skin appear even more translucent. 0

"Probably around eight or nine o'clock. I have class at Maria tomorrow!" An Xin Ya thought for a moment before telling him. 0

"It’s only seven o'clock now; there’s still time. How about I drive you out for a bit?" Shouya asked gently while looking into An Xin Ya's beautiful eyes. 0

An Xin Ya hesitated for a moment. She had never gone out at night before, and her grandmother never allowed her to go out unless she accompanied her. But now that her grandmother was not home, she longed to go out and hear what the night market was like. 0

She smiled and nodded, agreeing, "Okay, but you must bring me back before nine o'clock." 0

"Sure, no problem!" Shouya supported her as they left the room, went downstairs, and got into the car. 0

Shouya drove the car, quickly moving around to the driver's seat and starting the engine. 0

At night in Las Vegas, the lights were dazzling, with cars and people bustling about, creating a vibrant atmosphere. 0

An Xin Ya leaned against the car window as the night breeze blew in, lifting her hair and brushing against her face, soft and cool, just like her grandmother's hand gently caressing her cheek. Listening to the sounds outside, the noisy world filled with various voices and characters... 0

It turned out that this world was so wonderful! She remembered when she was a child in Beijing; back then, she was not blind and could see everything. The city of Beijing, especially at night, was crowded with people in every street and alley, traffic flowing like water with horses galloping by. There were also many delicious foods to enjoy. 0

Shouya stopped the car at a square in Las Vegas, helped An Xin Ya get out, held her hand, and walked into the bustling commercial street. 0

"Brother Shouya, I'm scared!" The loud noises made An Xin Ya feel very frightened and uneasy. This was not a place she was familiar with; being in an unfamiliar environment left her disoriented. 0

"What are you afraid of? I'm right here beside you," Shouya said gently, his gaze as warm as a calm lake. He smiled softly at An Xin Ya and spoke to her quietly while subconsciously holding her hand. 0

"Mm!" An Xin Ya nodded. With Brother Shouya by her side, she felt less scared and more secure. 0

As they strolled through the commercial street, they entered a food street filled with many delicious treats from all over the world. Shouya took her to try a lot of tasty food... 0
