Driving to the airport, Shouya supported An Xin Ya as they carried their luggage together to the security checkpoint. He had already booked the tickets yesterday and arrived at the airport on time. 0

Once on the plane, Shouya carefully helped An Xin Ya sit down in the window seat. He held her hand and felt it trembling, with beads of sweat forming in her palm, indicating her nervousness and fear. 0

Shouya gently patted the back of her hand and softly said, "Don't be nervous, I'm here with you!" 0

"Mm!" Her vacant eyes stared straight ahead as she slightly turned her face, listening closely to the sounds inside the plane. This wasn’t her first time flying. 0

She remembered when she was six years old, flying from China to Las Vegas with her Foster Parents and grandparents. Back then, she was a bit nervous too, but with her Foster Parents by her side, she felt less anxious and instead quite happy. She could look out the window and see the white clouds in the sky and the mountains and rivers below... 0

As the plane took off, An Xin Ya felt a bit uncomfortable and scared, gripping Shouya's hand tightly. 0

Shouya held her hand back, reassuring her not to be afraid. 0

Soon, that discomfort faded away. An Xin Ya sat in her seat and heard the Flight Attendant pushing a cart down the aisle, asking if they needed any drinks or snacks. 0

Shouya turned to An Xin Ya and gently asked, "Xinya, what would you like to drink?" 0

"Water," An Xin Ya replied, feeling a bit thirsty. 0

"Okay." Shouya turned back and requested a bottle of mineral water from the Flight Attendant. He handed it to An Xin Ya and asked if she wanted anything to eat, informing her about the food available on the plane. 0

After hearing Shouya say so much, An Xin Ya had no appetite at all. She felt a bit tired and wanted to take a nap. She smiled lightly and shook her head, saying, "No thanks!" 0

After the Flight Attendant pushed the cart away, Shouya furrowed his brow with concern and asked her, "Are you really sure you don't need anything? The flight from Las Vegas to New York takes about three hours!" 0

"I'm really not hungry, thank you, Brother Shouya!" An Xin Ya replied casually. 0

She always spoke to him in such a polite tone, which made Shouya wish she wouldn't. It felt like there was a thin barrier between them. 0

However, he was not in a hurry; this was something that needed time to develop. One day, she would treat him like an intimate lover. 0

Shouya returned to reality from his thoughts and saw that An Xin Ya had already fallen asleep. He couldn't help but chuckle softly, reaching over to rest her head against his shoulder. Looking down at her familiar face, he admired her beautiful and delicate features, her skin as white as jade, elegant eyebrows, and full, rosy lips. He couldn't help but sigh at how pure and beautiful she was. 0

This reminded him of the first time he saw her at the Maria Music Training Class. She was truly stunning then, so beautiful that he couldn't take his eyes off her. 0

Not wanting to disturb her, Shouya opened a magazine and began to read. 0

He didn't know how long she had been asleep when An Xin Ya woke up, realizing she was leaning on Brother Shouya's shoulder. She quickly lifted her head and sat up straight. 0

"Xinya, you're awake!" Shouya said with a bright look in his eyes as he noticed her waking up. There was a red mark on her left cheek from resting on his shoulder, and he smiled gently. 0

"How long did I sleep?" An Xin Ya asked with wide eyes. 0

Shouya checked the time on his wrist and replied, "You've been asleep for an hour and a half. We will be arriving in New York in another hour and a half." 0

"Why did I sleep so long? Brother Shouya, why didn't you wake me up?" An Xin Ya felt a bit dizzy as soon as she got on the plane and really wanted to sleep. After all these years of not flying, perhaps she wasn't used to it anymore! 0

Shouya chuckled and said, "I saw you sleeping so soundly that I didn't want to disturb you, so I let you continue." 0

An Xin Ya lowered her gaze and didn't say anything more. Her cheeks flushed slightly; she felt guilty for having slept so long against Brother Shouya's shoulder. He must have been uncomfortable keeping that position without moving. 0

"By the way, I ordered you some food earlier, but it's gotten a bit cold." 0

This time An Xin Ya didn't refuse. She started eating quietly; it was indeed a bit cold but still quite tasty, making her feel warm inside. 0

Finally arriving in New York, Shouya supported her shoulder while carrying the luggage as they walked out of customs. 0

An Xin Ya heard the noise around them and felt anxious. She instinctively tightened her grip on Shouya's hand. In this unfamiliar place, she had no sense of direction or awareness and felt completely lost. 0

Shouya took her out of the airport and hailed a taxi outside the terminal. He carefully helped An Xin Ya into the car, placed their luggage in the trunk, then walked around to open the door and got in. 0

"Are we in New York now?" An Xin Ya asked softly, her eyes wide and unfocused as she looked ahead. 0

"Yes, we have arrived," Shouya replied gently, looking at her. 0

"Where are we going now?" An Xin Ya asked again. 0

"I'm taking you to a hotel for now. You've just flown, and you're tired. Let's rest for a day, and tomorrow I'll take you to my Treatment Center," Shouya said. 0

"Okay!" An Xin Ya nodded. Her grandmother had reminded her before she left to listen to Shouya and follow the doctor's arrangements, cooperating with them actively. 0

Venerale Hotel 0

While he was in Las Vegas, Shouya had already called to book a room at the Venerale Hotel in New York. As soon as they got out of the taxi, a staff member came over to help him with the luggage. 0

Shouya carefully supported An Xin Ya as they exited the taxi, holding her hand as they walked to the front desk and informed the receptionist that he had booked a room yesterday, room number x. 0

The receptionist checked the booking records and then smiled as she handed him an electronic card. 0

Holding the electronic card and still holding An Xin Ya's hand, he entered the elevator and went upstairs. 0

An Xin Ya felt strange and a bit anxious, gripping his hand tightly. 0

Seeing the panic on her face, Shouya understood that she was scared; after all, she had never been to New York before. According to Grandma An, Xinya had been raised by her since childhood and had never left her side. 0

When they reached their floor, the elevator doors slowly opened. Shouya assisted An Xin Ya as they followed the staff member carrying their luggage to room number x. 0

He took out the electronic card and swiped it, causing the door to open with a beep. 0

He walked in, and the attendant placed the luggage in the room. Shouya thanked him and took out his wallet to give him a few hundred dollars as a tip. 0

The attendant left the room, closing the door behind him. 0

Shouya helped An Xin Ya sit on the bed, then went to pour her a glass of water before heading into the bathroom to wash his face. 0

An Xin Ya took the water, gently sipping from it. One hand held the cup while the other stroked the soft bed. She reached along the edge of the bed and touched the nightstand beside her, carefully placing the cup on top. 0

She heard the sound of water stop in the bathroom and heard Shouya's footsteps as he came out, asking, "Brother Shouya, are we staying here tonight?" 0

"Yes." Shouya had droplets of water on his face as he wiped it with a towel, not thinking much about her question. He picked up the remote control and turned on the LCD TV to check the news from New York. 0

An Xin Ya sat quietly, listening to the news being reported on TV. 0

Finding it uninteresting, Shouya turned it off, and the room fell silent. 0

"Are you hungry, Xinya..." Shouya sat down beside her, looking at her gently and asking softly. 0

An Xin Ya shook her head, saying she wasn't hungry. She had already eaten something on the plane and wasn't feeling hungry at the moment. 0

Shouya didn't press further but went to run some water in the bathroom. He then came out with a bathrobe for her, saying, "After sitting on a plane for three hours, you should wash up and then get a good night's sleep." 0

An Xin Ya took the bathrobe; it was made of very soft material. 0

Shouya helped her into the bathroom where he had already prepared the water for her. He reminded her to be careful and that if she needed anything, she could call him as he would be in the room. 0

Xinya nodded and stood there, slightly tilting her ear to listen to Brother Shouya's footsteps as he left the bathroom and closed the door. Only then did she feel at ease to undress, placing her clothes aside. She carefully stepped into the bathtub; warm water enveloped her body immediately. She even felt rose petals floating on top of the water and brought one close to her nose to smell—it was truly fragrant! 0

Shouya sat on the sofa in the room, seeming a bit restless. He really wanted to check on An Xin Ya, worried that she might not know what to do. What was he thinking? Although she had trouble with her eyesight, she was very perceptive about things; she knew how to distinguish and manage everything without needing him to worry about it. 0

An Xin Ya soaked in the bathtub for a while, then carefully stood up, took the bathrobe placed nearby, and put it on. She walked along the smooth wall, step by step, towards the bathroom door. However, before she could reach it, her foot slipped, and with a cry of surprise, she accidentally fell. 0

Sitting in the guest room, Shouya seemed to hear a noise and quickly got up to walk to the bathroom door. He knocked repeatedly and called out loudly, "Xinya, are you okay? What happened?" 0

"Brother Shouya..." An Xin Ya exclaimed in panic, feeling a dull pain in her ankle as if she had twisted it. 0

Hearing her voice, Shouya disregarded everything else and pushed open the door. He was taken aback to see An Xin Ya sitting on the floor. He rushed over, worried and anxious, asking her, "What happened? Are you alright? Is it serious?" 0

An Xin Ya couldn't speak; her face was slightly pale. 0

Seeing her clutching her ankle, Shouya realized she must have twisted it. He lifted her gently in his arms and carried her out of the bathroom into the guest room. He carefully placed her on the bed and looked at her injured foot, saying, "Xinya, don't move around." 0

"It hurts so much!" An Xin Ya cried out in pain, beads of sweat forming on her forehead. 0

Having some knowledge of orthopedics, Shouya remained calm as he checked her foot. He then called the hotel front desk to request some ice for room X. 0

He walked into the bathroom and grabbed a wet towel. Hearing a knock at the door, he quickly stepped out of the bathroom and opened the door to find a hotel staff member who had brought ice. 0

He took the ice cubes and placed them on the towel before gently applying it to An Xin Ya's foot. 0

At least An Xin Ya felt intense pain initially, but after this treatment, the pain subsided significantly. 0
