"It's okay, men prioritize their careers. You need to earn money to support the family. Seeing you work so hard, I might as well go out and work!" Xinya lifted her head, her eyes sparkling like stars as she looked at Shouya and said, "I can go back to Maria Music Training Class; the kids need to learn the piano."
"What are you saying? You want to return to Maria Music Training Class as a music teacher? That's not allowed...," Shouya said seriously. Seeing her wide-eyed confusion, he explained further, "For now, it's not possible. You just need to stay at home and take care of the kids. It's enough for me to handle earning money for the family."
"But we have Grandma at home, right? She can take care of Niu Niu," An Xinya said. Grandma had moved in to help take care of Niu Niu. She had been living alone in the small town, which felt quite lonely, so she brought her over to live with them.
"No means no; there's no room for discussion. If you consider me your husband, then you should listen to me," Shouya said, feeling sorry for Xinya. He didn't want her to struggle so much; he was capable of supporting the family, and his wife should be able to stay at home comfortably.
Hearing him say this made Xinya's face flush, and she shyly replied, "Alright, alright, if I don't go then it's fine. Look how nervous you are! When I was pregnant with Niu Niu, you were by my side. I wonder if you'll be by my side this time too?"
"What do you mean this time?" Shouya looked at her in confusion, seemingly not understanding what she was trying to say.
Seeing his bewildered expression, Xinya pouted and said, "I went to the hospital today for a check-up, and the doctor said I'm pregnant!" After saying this, she shyly burrowed into Shouya's arms.
"Really?" Shouya's eyes widened as he looked at Xinya. Caught off guard by this sudden good news, he didn't know what to say.
"Brother Shouya, what kind of expression is that? Do you not want me to have this child? Who said we didn't need contraception afterward? Who said we should have it if it happened? You seem unhappy about it now; should I go to the hospital tomorrow and terminate it instead...?" Xinya sat up unhappily and looked at Shouya with a surprised expression. However, she seemed unaware that she was completely naked in front of him.
Recovering from his shock, Shouya looked at her angry face but couldn't help noticing that she was undressed. He actually liked seeing her like this. He reached out and pulled Xinya closer so that their bodies were tightly pressed together and gently stroked her face.

Shouya cupped her beautiful face in his hands and looked into her watery eyes before placing a gentle kiss on her smooth forehead.
"Is that true? Will you love me for a lifetime?" she asked back shyly as she began to respond to his kiss.
A true love scene was unfolding as their bare bodies intertwined closely together, filling the air with an intoxicating atmosphere that only those lost in love could truly understand.
A year later, Xinya gave birth to a son for Shouya.
Meanwhile, two-and-a-half-year-old Niu Niu could already walk and run. With her big watery eyes fixed on her newborn brother, she quietly observed him while occasionally looking up at their parents with curious expressions and making cooing sounds as if she were delighted by the arrival of her brother—now she had a companion.

“Mommy, Mommy, my little brother keeps bullying me! He even hits me with things!” Almost three-year-old Niu Niu can already say a lot of words. She spends all day circling around her younger brother, who can only sit or crawl, claiming he bullies her, when in reality, she is the one bullying him.
“Niu Niu, you are the big sister; you should let your brother have his way.” Xinya, busy cooking, squats down and gently holds her little hand.
“But I’m a girl, and he’s a boy. Boys shouldn’t bully girls.” Niu Niu pouts and says defiantly, “Mommy, you’re biased; you love my brother more and don’t want Niu Niu anymore.”
“How could Mommy not want Niu Niu? I love you both!” Xinya looks at Niu Niu and asks, “So are you your brother’s sister?”
Niu Niu nods, admitting she is her brother's sister.
“Then as his sister, shouldn’t you protect him? Let him have his way?” Xinya patiently teaches her child.
“I can protect him, but I can’t let him have his way because the more I let him, the more arrogant he becomes…”
Just then, Shouya returned from outside. When Niu Niu saw her dad come back, she broke free from Xinya's hand and ran towards him, hugging his leg tightly while lifting her adorable little face and saying, “Daddy, you’re back!”
Shouya set his work bag aside and picked up Niu Niu, smiling as he asked, “Did you miss Daddy?”
“Yes!” Niu Niu laughed happily.
“Did you bully your brother?”
“No.” Niu Niu shook her head and pouted, saying, “It’s my brother who keeps bullying me. Mommy said I should protect him because I’m the sister, but he’s a boy and should protect girls. Why do I have to protect him?”
"Your younger brother is still small, so as his sister, you need to be good to him and love each other, okay?" Shouya said as he carried Niu Niu back to the room to check on his son. Upon entering the room, he was stunned to see his son's little face covered in colorful drawings. His younger son had bright eyes and was flailing his arms and legs excitedly.
He set Niu Niu down and picked up his younger son, who was covered in doodles. He turned to question Niu Niu, but she slipped away faster than anyone else, leaving him speechless with anger. All he could do was grab a wet wipe to clean him up.
At the dining table, he couldn't bear to scold Niu Niu and instead patiently educated her. This mischievous daughter seemed to take after someone, never giving him a moment of peace. Every time he tried to discipline her, she not only didn't cry but also came up with numerous excuses that left him at a loss for words. However, she did share one trait with her mother: a love for playing the piano, and Xinya intended to train her to become an outstanding pianist.
Two years later...
The air outside was heavy and the sky was overcast, suggesting that a heavy rain could arrive at any moment. Invited by the British Third Prince, she wanted to take her two children and their grandmother on a trip to England for a few days, but the weather was not cooperating.
Shouya had been busier lately and rarely returned home. Niu Niu had started school while she stayed home to care for their son. Taking advantage of Niu Niu's summer break, she planned to take both children to England. Shouya had always promised to find time to travel with them to China or other countries, but there had been no actual follow-through.
"Mommy, are you really going to take me and my brother, along with Grandma, to England?" Wenjin asked while lying on the bed, propping her chin up with one hand and blinking her bright eyes at her mother as she packed the suitcase.
"Yes, my lovely Wenjin," Shouya replied. The name Wenjin was chosen by Shouya. Xinya pinched her little cheek in response.
"That's great! Finally going to England! Oh right, Mommy, aren't you taking Daddy with us?" Wenjin asked again.
"What would we take him for? He's busy day and night studying his stuff; when would he have time to go with us?"
"Oh!" Wenjin pouted.
"Wenjin..."
Wenjin heard her father's voice coming from the living room and quickly jumped out of bed, running into the living room where she saw her father had returned and immediately leaped into his arms.
"Wenjin, where's your mother?" Shouya asked gently as he held Wenjin in his suit.
"Mom is packing in the room!"
"Packing for what?"
"Dad, you're so silly. Of course, we're going on a trip! Mom promised me that when I have a break, she would take me to England. Uncle Morina invited us." Wenjin replied in a childish voice.
What? She's going to England? Shouya was surprised and quickly ran into the room. He saw Xinya indeed packing her bags, and his brows furrowed as he approached her and asked, "Xinya, what are you doing? I heard Wenjin say you're taking them to England for a trip."
"Yes, Prince Morina invited us. It's such a great opportunity; how could we miss it? Anyway, our daughter is already on break, so we should take her out to have some fun and see the world," An Xin Ya said calmly while looking at Shouya. "What's wrong? Do you have any objections?"
"That's not what I meant. I just think you should have discussed it with me before taking them to England," Shouya felt anxious inside.
"I mentioned it to you earlier, but you've been so busy with work that you didn't pay attention to it. You said you would take us on a trip, but then you forgot, so I decided to take them myself... Wenjin insisted on going, saying it's boring to stay at home..." An Xin Ya continued packing as she spoke.
"Wait until I finish..."
"You don't need to say anything; I've already made up my mind. I don't want to trouble you; you can focus on your work. I can take care of them and keep them safe," An Xin Ya interrupted him.
Shouya's brows tightened even more. "I know I've neglected you both, and I'm sorry for that. I promised I would take you out; I will definitely take you somewhere. Anywhere is fine, but why does it have to be England?! If you want to go to England, I'll take you when I have time."
Even though Xinya was already his wife and had given birth to their two children, he still felt worried because Morina was a man who had once pursued Xinya.
"When you have time? When will that be? You always say that. You're always buried in research in the lab, sometimes spending several days there without coming out. Work seems to be everything to you..." An Xin Ya felt helpless. While she understood that he prioritized his career, he shouldn't neglect his family either. She didn't want to argue over something small and risk the kids hearing it.
