"It's fine, anyway, there's nothing much to do. I'll take this opportunity to clean up a bit. Once Qifan wakes up, there won't be any time," Grandma An said, finally returning to her hometown after so many years, feeling extremely excited. 0

An Xin Ya couldn't refuse her grandmother and started busying herself in the kitchen. 0

After a day of work, they finally cleaned the house. Wenjin also got up and saw her mother and Great-Grandmother busy, so she went over to help them, while Qifan crawled on the floor, his bright eyes watching everyone work, making sounds continuously... 0

"Why did you get involved with such a woman when you had no issues?" Faisal looked at Shouya, who seemed to have changed a lot after just a few days. They were eating at a restaurant, and hearing what he had just said left them speechless. 0

Shouya chuckled and shook his head, saying, "Who knew that woman was so scheming? I mistakenly thought she wanted me to take responsibility. But I never expected her to harass my wife, causing such a huge misunderstanding between Xinya and me. I don't know how to explain it!" 0

"You mean Xinya took the kids back home?" Faisal knew that Shouya wasn't that kind of person; he was honest and straightforward, how could he do something to hurt others? 0

"Yes, she even left a divorce agreement. Look at how big this has blown up... sigh!" Shouya felt helpless; he truly was a victim in this situation! 0

"Since that woman's child isn't yours, you should go back home and explain things clearly. Otherwise, this will only get worse," Faisal said as he patted his shoulder. 0

"I have an early flight tomorrow. Just now, Rowe called me and said Xinya is currently living in the house left by her father," Shouya replied. 0

"Come on, let's toast!" Faisal raised his crystal glass. 0

Shouya also lifted his glass and lightly clinked it against Faisal's, producing a clear sound. He drank the contents of his glass in one go, feeling a burning heat throughout his body. At that moment, he missed Xinya and the kids very much. 0

At an airport in Las Vegas, Shouya boarded a flight to Beijing, China. A few hours later, he arrived at Beijing International Airport. He walked briskly out of the airport where Rowe was already waiting for him. 0

He opened the car door and sat in the passenger seat. Rowe started the engine and slowly drove onto the highway. Shouya took out his phone to call Xinya, trying several times but her phone remained off. He knew she didn't want to answer his calls or see him. 0

Upon arriving at the Bai Family Mansion, Shouya pushed open the car door, got out, and walked into the Bai Family. 0

"Dad, you're here..." Wenjin was playing with Qifan in the living room while Grandma An was preparing vegetables nearby, keeping an eye on the two children. 0

Seeing her father arrive, Wenjin happily rushed into his arms. With a smile in her eyes, Grandma An watched them; no matter where they went, he would always follow them. However, there were too many conflicts between these two children. 0

Bending down, Shouya picked up Wenjin. Seeing his daughter made him incredibly happy inside. He asked, "Where's Mom?" 0

"Mom is in the room!" 0

"Where is Mom in the house?" This mansion is quite large, with at least three floors, and several rooms on each floor. 0

"Dad, I'll take you there." 0

Shouya put down Wenjin, walked over to pick up his son Qifan. When Qifan saw his dad, he started to giggle and dance around. Shouya gave him a deep kiss on the cheek and followed Wenjin upstairs to the third room. 0

"Mommy, Mommy, Dad is here! He came to see us!" 0

In the room, An Xinya heard Wenjin's voice and felt a tremor in her heart. Just as she was about to step out, she saw Shouya. She didn't expect him to chase her to Beijing so quickly, but it didn't matter now; her decision to divorce was already unshakeable. 0

"Xinya, can you open the door?" Shouya called out while holding Qifan. 0

"What do you want?" 0

"I'm here to explain." 0

"There’s nothing to explain. Just go! I don’t want to see you." 0

"Xinya, please don’t be like this. My relationship with Meiqi isn’t what you think." 0

"Dad, that lady said she’s pregnant with your child and told Mom to divorce you!" Wenjin suddenly exclaimed. "Dad, do you not want us anymore?" 0

"How could Dad not want you? That lady isn’t carrying Dad’s child; she must have made a mistake." Shouya reassured them, realizing that Wenjin must have been present during that conversation. 0

With a loud bang, Xinya suddenly opened the door, glaring at him. Without saying a word, she snatched Qifan from his arms and held him tightly. Perhaps she was too forceful because Qifan began to cry. 0

"Shh, don’t cry. Mommy is here!" Xinya comforted Qifan. 0

"Xinya, I really am innocent regarding Meiqi." 0

"I don’t want to hear any of your explanations. Get out! Get out of my house; I don’t want to see you again." With a loud slam, she closed the door. 0

Shouya didn't know what to do, his brows furrowed. He realized that for the time being, she wouldn't listen to any of his explanations; he could only slowly clarify things with her. 0

That day, Xinya had not gone out at all. She held Qifan in her arms in the room. At five in the afternoon, heavy rain began to fall from the sky, and it wasn't until around seven or eight in the evening that she finally came down with Qifan and sat in the living room to feed him. 0

Shouya approached her, desperately trying to explain, but Xinya refused to listen. She pointed at the door and said, "To prove your innocence, you should stand outside for a whole day and night." 0

In order to earn her forgiveness, Shouya immediately ran outside without hesitation, standing straight in the rain. 0

At that moment, An Xin Ya felt something soften in her heart. Through the floor-to-ceiling window, she could see him standing motionless in the rain. 0

At ten o'clock that night, the rain continued to pour down, seemingly getting heavier with no sign of stopping. Xinya had just managed to lull Qifan to sleep and felt a bit worried. She walked to the window and gently lifted the curtain, seeing him still standing outside in the rain, with strong winds blowing. 0

Grandma An came over and said, "Can you really bear to let him stand out there for a whole day and night? Can you bear to let him get soaked in the rain? If this continues, he'll catch a cold and fever. Even if he did something wrong, he deserves a chance to explain himself. This punishment seems a bit excessive." 0

"Grandma, I'm your granddaughter. It's one thing for you not to speak up for me, but how can you side with him? Do you know he was with another woman? That woman showed me a report saying she's pregnant with his child. How am I supposed to forgive him?" Xinya said sadly. 0

"I'm not siding with him. Given his character, I don't believe he would do something so foolish. You two are married; you know your husband better than anyone else. Do you really not trust him at all? Just based on a few photos from that woman and a report, can you determine his loyalty to you? Perhaps that woman fabricated everything to force you and Shouya apart so she could take advantage..." 0

"I..." Listening to her grandmother's words, Xinya didn't know what to say. She felt she had been too impulsive. Turning back again to look at Shouya standing in the rain, her heart ached for him. 0

Grandma An sighed softly and left her room to go rest, leaving it for them to resolve their issues. She hoped Xinya would consider things from the child's perspective. 0

However, thinking about that matter made her angry; she had no intention of forgiving him. Lying in bed, she couldn't fall asleep no matter what. Tossing and turning in bed as the rain grew heavier outside, the raindrops hitting against the window made her feel restless. 0

An Xin Ya sat up again and looked out the window; he stood there unmoving. Her hardened heart melted instantly as she hurriedly left her room and went downstairs. Grabbing an umbrella, she rushed over to him and held it over his head. 0

He was already shivering from the cold. To seek Xinya's forgiveness, he had stood there without moving. When he saw Xinya finally come out to hold an umbrella for him, his heart warmed up immediately. 0

"Why are you so foolish! It's raining so heavily outside; you'll catch a cold! Come inside..." An Xin Ya said anxiously as she looked at Shouya, who was drenched through and through. He was so silly and stubborn; whatever she told him to do, he would do without considering the consequences. 0

"Even if I catch a cold or get sick, I don't care as long as you're willing to forgive me," Shouya said with a trembling voice before sneezing violently and shivering as waves of cold washed over him. 0

"Let's talk inside," Xinya frowned and pulled him inside. 0

"Don't." Shouya was unwilling to enter the house. 0

"Why not?" 0

"I just want you to forgive me," Shouya pleaded. "As long as you are willing to forgive me, I will go in with you." 0

"Do as you wish; it's up to you whether you want to go in or not." Xinya said helplessly. The rain was pouring heavily tonight, and her clothes were almost soaked through. 0

Just as she turned to leave, Shouya grabbed her hand and pulled her tightly into his embrace, whispering in her ear, "Xinya, nothing happened between me and Zhang Meiqi. That night was her birthday; she was drunk. I did help her out of the bar, but it was my colleague Javier who took her home. The child in her womb is Javier's, and he can prove my innocence... Xinya, I know you can't hear what I'm saying right now, but I swear to heaven that if I ever do anything to hurt you, may I be struck by lightning..." 0

Xinya gently pushed him away, looking at him with deep affection. She quickly covered his mouth with her hand to stop him from continuing and said, "If you say any more, you really will be struck by lightning. Alright, I forgive you!" 0

"Xinya, thank you..." Shouya held her tightly, feeling moved. 0

"Come on, let go! You're getting my clothes wet. Hurry up and come inside," An Xin Ya complained. 0

Standing on the third-floor balcony looking down, Shouya was waving at her from beside the car. She smiled back at him. 0

"I'm coming down! I've almost finished packing; let's go home!" Xinya heard Shouya calling up to her from below, his face lit up with a handsome and sunny smile. 0

Go home? She didn't want to go home at all. Beijing was so wonderful! Because of him, all her plans had been disrupted. She wanted the children to receive an education in China and learn about Chinese culture. After just a few days, they were going back to Las Vegas. 0
