At two-thirty in the afternoon, the initial video editing began on time.
Everyone in the studio was fully focused on watching the footage, making initial edits based on their notes.
All the content captured by the cameras played simultaneously. Due to different shooting angles, the viewing effects and atmosphere varied naturally. Each FD carefully recalled key points from the shoot, editing the clips in sequence according to the atmosphere at the time and the rendering needed for post-production.
Each camera had recordings lasting up to eleven hours, but after initial editing, only three hours remained.
After the initial edit, the two PDs would collaborate with the screenwriters to compile and further process the video based on the information provided by the FDs. Text, special effects, sound effects, and rendering were all essential, making it almost like a movie. Anna still had much to learn. The current priority was successfully filming and editing the video.
Zhao PD and Miao PD sometimes provided guidance based on certain flaws observed during filming.
Jae-seok and Jung Kook were both directly following the shoot as PDs, so the footage was always of high quality.
"Mr. Chi Seok-jun's FD is Li Xiuyu, right?" Zhao PD asked.
Li Xiuyu nodded. "Yes."
"Chi Seok-jun has been performing reasonably well lately; next time, please encourage him not to hide all the time. He should come out to interact during breaks in the game; it can help drive game development."
"Okay, understood," Li Xiuyu nodded.
“Mr. Haha's FD Jiangyan did a great job with the camera work and pacing this time. Miss Song Ji-hyo, Dongwan, and Anna Zheng, please pay attention to the VJ's shooting angles next time; there were a few details that weren't captured well. Also, Gary, the interactions between the Monday Couple have been too few lately; it might be good to suggest they engage more.”
“Yes, understood,” Dong Wan and Anna replied together.
“The next shoot is the day after tomorrow at 10 AM at W University. Everyone should gather at the SBS entrance by 8 AM that day to head over together,” Zhao PD said.
“Okay.”
After work ended, it was already past eleven in the evening when they left SBS.
Everyone went their separate ways home, but Jiang Yan stayed behind for some reason, looking serious as if there was something to discuss with the PDs.
No one dared to ask too much and pretended not to notice.
Feeling a bit hungry, Anna sat down at a roadside red stall where seafood soup was steaming and emitting an enticing aroma.
“Auntie, one seafood soup please,” Anna said as she took a seat.
“Sure,” the auntie replied, already starting to prepare the food.
Anna took out her phone; on the screen was a photo of herself with her brother Andy from three years ago. That day, Andy told Anna that he was about to debut in a group called EXO, finally ending his four-and-a-half-year trainee life to become a real singer. Looking at Andy's thin body and face from dancing every day, the long-held perseverance and effort had finally paid off. It felt like a ray of light in their difficult lives; they were extremely happy and celebrated at a barbecue restaurant that felt luxurious to them, capturing this moment in a photo.
Andy smiled so brightly and beautifully.
Unlocking the password lock, she clicked on Andy's name in her contacts. As always, the call connected, and after the familiar series of beeps, it prompted that no one was available to answer at the moment...
Anna and Andy were fraternal twins.
