“Lovers' Resemblance? A new term,” someone interjected. 0

“Hmm, hmm.” Someone began to scrutinize Qinglan and An Shaojie, thoughtfully saying, “They do look alike, like two siblings.” 0

Simple glared and asked, “What kind of talk is that? If they were siblings, could I call it Lovers' Resemblance?” 0

The people around immediately agreed with Simple, continuously criticizing the person who had just spoken. 0

Qinglan and An Shaojie were both embarrassed by Simple's teasing; one turned red while the other turned dark. Jian Ming, sitting nearby, kept giving Simple warning looks. He was worried that Simple would provoke An Shaojie's anger. 0

However, Simple was caught up in the moment and paid no attention to Jian Ming's hints. Besides, she felt confident in her ability to handle An Shaojie, knowing he wouldn’t be angry with her since she had always acted like a mischievous little sister in front of him. 0

“How about we set them up as a couple tonight?” Simple stood up from her seat. 0

As soon as Simple finished speaking, a round of enthusiastic applause erupted, accompanied by cheers. 0

“Simple, stop messing around,” Qinglan finally couldn’t hold back and tried to stop her. 0

Qinglan pulled Simple back into her seat, genuinely worried that Simple would go too far. It wouldn’t be good if someone got heated; although he seemed indifferent as he gazed out the window, who knew what might trigger him? If she accidentally crossed a line, it would be her, Qinglan, who suffered. He wouldn’t take his anger out on Simple, but would instead direct it at her. 0

Once back in her seat, Simple calmed down and realized she had indeed been too disruptive. She stole a glance at An Shaojie, relieved to see no anger on his face. 0

“What are you looking at?” Simple asked him. 0

He was focused on the view outside. Curious, Simple leaned over to look out the window; it was already quite dark outside, and all she could see was a black void. 0

“There’s nothing but darkness out there,” she replied before waiting for An Shaojie to respond. 0

“No, we just passed a small town with lights; you can see outside,” An Shaojie answered. 0

“Oh, did you see anything interesting?” Simple asked curiously. 0

“No,” An Shaojie said. “I just felt warm seeing the lights of the small town. It reminded me of an essay I read when I was young called ‘Oh! Fragrant Snow.’ It described a train passing through a small station called Tai'er Gou, where a little girl named Fragrant Snow sold eggs. It was one of those small stations lit by faint lights that gave travelers on the train a sense of home; the lights from that station always made me feel warm inside.” 0

“Oh.” Simple felt moved by An Shaojie’s words and said, “Brother Shaojie, you read so many books. I want to read more books too.” 0

"Where?" An Shaojie humbly replied, "If you need to read later, just ask me." 0

"Okay," Simple responded. "When we get to a small station with lights, remember to call me. I want to see it too; I want that warm feeling." 0

It was already late at night, and outside the train window was still pitch black, nothing could be seen. Several lights in the carriage had been turned off, making the interior much dimmer. The people inside had begun to doze off, and there was almost no sound except for a few soft murmurs. 0

Simple's eyelids were heavy, nearly unable to open, as she stared sleepily at An Shaojie. 0

"Alright, you can lean against me and sleep for a bit. I'll wake you later," An Shaojie said. 0

Qinglan and Jian Ming exchanged smiles, sharing a warm moment over the conversation between An Shaojie and Simple. 0

"Come, lean on me," Qinglan said to Simple. 0

Simple's eyes slowly closed, and in a daze, she murmured, "Okay," before resting her head on Qinglan's shoulder and falling asleep. 0

Jian Ming quickly stood up to switch seats with Qinglan. "This girl eats a lot and is tall; she's heavy. You won't be able to handle it." 0

Qinglan wanted to decline, but Jian Ming insisted on switching seats. 0

Qinglan glanced at An Shaojie and recalled that he seemed to have misunderstood her relationship with Jian Ming in the past, which made her hesitate. 0

An Shaojie looked out the window with an expression of detachment. 0

Then Qinglan thought again; her sitting in Jian Ming's seat had nothing to do with him. Why should she be so worried about him? Besides, Simple was indeed too heavy, especially after falling into a deep sleep; Qinglan's slender frame couldn't bear her weight. 0

So she stopped refusing and moved to Jian Ming's seat. 0

As soon as Qinglan sat down, An Shaojie instinctively shifted slightly inward as if a dinosaur had just arrived beside him. 0

Jian Ming chuckled and said, "An Shaojie, you should take a nap too. When we get to the small station, I'll wake Simple." He then turned to Qinglan and added, "You should rest for a bit as well." 0

Qinglan agreed and closed her eyes against the backrest. Since no one else was talking, she might as well sleep. 0

Uncertain how much time had passed, Qinglan vaguely heard Simple's giggling and the surrounding noise. 0

She groggily opened her eyes, realizing they had arrived at a station. 0

As she moved slightly, she sensed something was off. When she looked around, she found herself leaning against An Shaojie's shoulder. 0

No, An Shaojie was also leaning against her. 0

More accurately, their heads were touching, shoulders pressed together, both of them having fallen asleep while relying on each other. 0

When she shifted again, An Shaojie woke up as well. Upon opening his eyes, he was met with an embarrassing sight. 0

His head was resting on Qinglan's shoulder. 0

He immediately became fully alert, straightening up and checking himself over, adjusting his clothes as if to ensure he hadn't been harassed or touched inappropriately. He meticulously examined every part of his body, which made Qinglan feel both amused and exasperated. 0

"He fell asleep on me, yet it feels like I'm the one taking advantage of him," Qinglan thought to herself. 0

His nervous demeanor not only amused Qinglan but also made Jian Ming and Simple chuckle. 0

Especially Simple, who couldn't hide his thoughts, directly asked, "Hey, Brother Shaojie, did you wake up worried that you might have lost some weight? Did someone eat you?" Qinglan had been a bit annoyed earlier, but Simple's comment made her irritation vanish completely. In fact, she felt that Simple's words echoed her own desire to question him. It seemed Simple had avenged her grievances, and she couldn't help but laugh happily. "N-no..." he stammered in response. 0
