Yan Yi Bai smiled lightly.
Over the past five years, countless beautiful women have surrounded Yan Yi Bai, yet he has never paid any of them any attention, focused solely on his work.
"I want to take a walk alone here; I'll call you if I need anything."
Yan Yi Bai suddenly spoke, sending everyone around him away.
It had been a long time since he had experienced such quietness. The first thing that came to his mind was still Su Ruoyun.
Yan Yi Bai stepped into the crowd, a bitter smile on his lips.
Five years have passed, and he still hasn't forgotten her. Yet now, when he thinks of her, the pain he once felt has faded. But the wound remains; he wonders how she is doing in heaven.
Yan Yi Bai walked slowly, feeling a courage he hadn't had in five years to recall the past.
He didn't know when he had come to terms with it, nor did he know if this brave act of reminiscing counted as acceptance.
As he walked, he suddenly spotted a familiar figure in the crowd.
He saw her profile; she was smiling and talking to someone nearby.
Yan Yi Bai froze; the person looked exactly like Su Ruoyun.
As she turned to leave, he suddenly came to his senses and hurried after her. However, by the time he reached the spot where she had just stood, she was already gone.
Yan Yi Bai searched around but could not find any trace of the girl.
Had he imagined it? Had he seen it wrong?
For the first time in five years, he touched the pain in his heart.
Yan Yi Bai stood dazed among the crowd, forcing a bitter smile. Had he really thought too much? Was he still unable to accept the fact that she would never come back?
With a slight sigh, as he prepared to walk in another direction, he suddenly realized that the bracelet on his wrist was missing.
He was startled and retraced his steps.
That was a bracelet that Su Ruoyun had once given him. Even after they broke up, he had kept it until Su Ruoyun passed away, at which point he took it out and wore it on his wrist.
For these five years, it had been his constant companion.
It was a very simple, ordinary bracelet. At the time, both he and Su Ruoyun were college students and had no money. So the things they bought were all cheap and ordinary.
The bracelet had no decorations; at first glance, it looked like just an ordinary black band.

"Ouyang Su, there's a bracelet here. Someone must have dropped it," a girl said as she bent down to pick up a black bracelet and turned to Ouyang Su.
Ouyang Su glanced at it and smiled, "It shouldn't be, it looks like a very simple bracelet. Maybe it was just thrown away by someone."
The girl curiously stared at the bracelet, "I think it looks really nice. Why would anyone throw it away?"
Ouyang Su gently touched her hand, "Don't worry about it too much. Just leave it where it is. If someone cares about it, they will definitely come back for it."
The girl also smiled brightly and nodded, "Alright then."
"Wait here for me. I'm going to the restroom and will be back soon. Don't wander off too far."
"Okay, got it."
Instead of placing the bracelet on the ground, the girl held it in her hand and admired it.
"Excuse me, that bracelet is mine." A very pleasant voice came from behind her.
The girl paused for a moment and turned around, "Is this your bracelet? Here you go."
Standing in the sunlight, the girl looked exceptionally beautiful as she smiled.
Her gentle gaze sparkled like stars in the sky.
