Three people leaned on the wooden chairs behind the booth, exchanging weary glances with each other. Chen Yong picked up a bottle of mineral water, gently unscrewed the cap, and the cool water droplets condensed on the outside of the bottle as it opened, much like a reflection of his current mood - cool and somewhat cold. Zhang Min absentmindedly twisted open her own water bottle, took a deep breath, as if trying to dispel the frustration in her heart in this way. 0

Every time a new student passed by their booth, a glimmer of hope flashed in the eyes of Chen Yong and Zhang Min, but when these new students just glanced quickly, or even directly ignored their recruitment posters, that hope instantly turned into disappointment, weighing heavily on their hearts. 0

Before long, Liu Xing and Li Wei also walked slowly from the other side of the playground. The helpless shrug of Liu Xing and the powerless shake of Li Wei's head needed no further explanation, enough to let people understand their harvest. The five of them sat around the small stall, silently revealing a strong sense of frustration. 0

Li Wei was the first to break the silence, his voice tinged with a hint of annoyance: "Why did the coach make us come here? Doesn't he understand the difference between clubs and school teams?" 0

Chen Yong tightly gripped the water bottle, as if trying to control his emotions. His voice was hoarse as he said, "Currently, the team is too small, and our performance is not improving. If we don't start achieving better results or find outstanding new members to strengthen the team, our badminton team will really be finished. In the future, we might only exist as a badminton club." 0

These words expressed their shared concerns, and the future of the badminton team hung like a cloud of gloom over everyone's heads. Even though Chen Yong conveyed a hint of despair in his words, there was more of a determination not to give up. 0

The silence at the badminton team's booth had turned into an insurmountable frost, but at that moment, the Student Assistance Society appeared with their fresh blood, like a surge of heat breaking into the cold frozen ground. Their appearance was like an impromptu parade, attracting the freshest faces on the green field as they marched and recruited along the way. 0

They paused at every club, like bees visiting flowers, easily eliciting light laughter, and then flew off to the next destination without any attachment. The vitality and casualness of the Student Assistance Society had long been a spectacle on campus. They seemed to possess a special power to turn anything into fun, but often this fun lacked substance. 0

Their hodgepodge-like activities have always been a laughingstock on campus. This club is like a perpetually learning child, always wanting to have a variety of activities, but never mastering any of them. Even they themselves may not be able to explain what kind of organization they are. Sometimes, they play various team-building activities on campus, but due to the desire for excitement or a senior wanting to show off, they end up in a mess; other times, they dance street dance on the playground, often offbeat and lacking coordination in their steps. 0

Their laughter reached the badminton team's booth, and every member of the badminton team involuntarily frowned. The members of this counseling club seemed to have a natural magic that attracted crowds. Even the most casual jokes could gather a large group of freshmen around them. In contrast, the professionalism and hard work of the badminton team seemed to pale in the face of this nonsensical excitement. 0

However, behind this ironic scene, it also reflects a real issue within the badminton team: is professionalism and performance really important for newcomers who don't know much about badminton and just want to find their own place? Perhaps all they need is a place to easily enter and happily participate. This idea quietly arose in Chen Yong and other team members' minds, but it was quickly suppressed - they are the badminton team, and they have their own pride. 0

When the group of colorful members from the Kousuke Society quickly approached the badminton team's booth, the air seemed to heat up with their arrival. One senior, with golden hair shining in the sunlight, exuded a playful and unrestrained aura. Not only did he interrupt the solemn atmosphere of the badminton team, but he also drew everyone's attention to himself. His uniform shirt was lazily tucked into specially tailored black pants, revealing his disregard for school rules and his insistence on his own style. His golden hair shone like a crown in the sunlight, and every step he took exuded a domineering "watch out, I'm here" vibe. 0

Chen Yong immediately stood up upon seeing the arrival of this senior, nodding in a captain-like manner to express the most basic courtesy. However, the blond senior disregarded this gesture of politeness, not once stopping his gaze on Chen Yong, and went straight to the point, with a somewhat mocking tone: "How many people came to your place today to understand the matter of joining the team?" 0

Chen Yong was slightly stunned, unable to conceal his embarrassment, and replied in a low voice: "Two." 0

When Chen Yong answered that there were only two new students coming to inquire, the blond senior put on a dramatic expression. He first looked incredulous, then widened his eyes and exaggeratedly cupped his ear towards the students behind him, as if confirming that his ears were not playing tricks on him. Then, he forcefully slapped his thigh and exaggeratedly shook his head and body, performing an exaggerated reaction that caused laughter among the new students from the counseling society behind him. They seemed to greatly enjoy this scene. 0

The blond senior then struck an exaggerated pose, deliberately pointing towards the badminton team booth with a mischievous look in his eyes: "Wow, only two! So many, are you sure you're not in the wrong place?" His words were full of deliberate mockery, as if performing a solo act and using the badminton team as his prop for amusement. 0

Later, he turned around and, with an exaggerated tone, said to the underclassmen of the counseling society, "It seems that our counseling society is quite popular. At least we won't be mistaken for the wrong booth like some other clubs when new students come." His words were like a slap in the face, not only undermining the badminton team's recruitment efforts, but also provoking every badminton team member present. 0
