Liu Xing then fluently introduced the other members of the team: "Chen Yong is our team captain and a senior this year. He is the core of the team." When mentioning Chen Yong, Liu Xing's tone revealed deep respect.
He continued, " Zheng You is also a senior, specializing in doubles. His performance on the court always impresses people."
When mentioning Li Wei, Liu Xing's mouth involuntarily lifted: "Senior Li Wei is also in the second year of high school, same grade as me. He specializes in doubles on the court, and partners with Senior Zhang Min."

For Liu Xing and Zhang Min, the new member's calm demeanor couldn't conceal the unusual aspect they sensed from his answer.
This unadorned response only piqued Liu Xing and Zhang Min's curiosity further. They both knew that "level twelve" was quite high for an ordinary high school student, and this new junior seemed anything but ordinary.
Liu Xing was slightly surprised by Lin Fei's self-assessment. He had never expected this seemingly calm new team member to have such a high level of badminton skills. Beside him, Zhang Min couldn't help but burst into laughter. His laughter was filled with the joy of releasing pressure. "That's really great! With you joining us, we senior students can take a breather." He rubbed his shoulder, as if implying that the burden of this position would be lightened by Lin Fei's addition.
Lin Fei maintained his usual calm, with a faint smile on his lips. "I did learn from my father when I was young, but I stopped later on and haven't really touched a racket during that time. My current state may have regressed quite a bit compared to before," Lin Fei said plainly, but the depth and steadiness hidden in his words conveyed a sense of determination.
Liu Xing seemed quite satisfied with Lin Fei's response. He patted Lin Fei's shoulder with confidence. "It's okay. Badminton is like riding a bike, once you've learned it, you won't forget. Since you have this foundation, train with us for a while, and you'll quickly regain your previous level. Plus, we're really looking forward to seeing your performance."

Lin Fei just smiled slightly, with a calm and composed expression. "Alright, I'm ready," he replied calmly, as if all the surprise and doubt had nothing to do with him.
Chen Yong nodded in satisfaction and patted Lin Fei on the shoulder. "Let's warm up at the outdoor badminton court next to the playground. The indoor court is currently being used for other activities," he turned around and walked out first. Liu Xing and the other team members followed, discussing the potential changes that this new member might bring along the way.
Lin Fei followed behind them with calm and steady steps. His inner turmoil was undisturbed, but he had his own plan for the upcoming test. This test might be his first step to prove himself and integrate into the new environment.
As soon as Chen Yong left the booth, he made a decision without hesitation, " Li Wei, Zheng You, both of you stay and continue recruiting." Zheng You and Li Wei immediately looked pleading, they looked at each other and almost simultaneously pointed to each other, "Captain, let him stay, I'll go see Lin Fei's skills." Everyone didn't want to miss this sudden "assessment" - witnessing a potential miracle.
But Chen Yong turned his head, his gaze as sharp as an eagle's, unwavering. "No, you two stay, we need more new blood," he said with unquestionable authority in his voice. This was the iron rule of the badminton team, the captain's words were the direction of the team's actions.
