"You'd better not..." 0

Before he could finish his sentence, he was interrupted by the refined young man beside him. 0

"Second Sister is a smart person; you wouldn't want that little girl to really get into trouble, would you?" 0

"You!" 0

I realized that the other party had suspected her, but I didn't expect him to guess so accurately. However, this also confirmed that my initial suspicion was correct. 0

Knowing that I couldn't push him into a corner, I had no choice but to agree for now. 0

"I knew Second Sister was a smart person." 0

I looked at the smiling man in front of me and coldly replied, "I hope you can stay this happy, sir." 0

"I will." 0

I put away the envelope and walked straight out of the prison. There was no need to pretend anymore; he had already figured it out. 0

"Are you really going to help them send a letter?" 0

I looked at the worried expression on the man's face and waved my hand. There was no other way to go now. 0

Then I calmly said, "Mobai, think positively. Now we know Wan'er's whereabouts, don't we?" 0

"But..." 0

I saw that he wanted to say something else and immediately cut him off. "There's no 'but.' Just help me send this letter out first, and I'll find out Wan'er's whereabouts. Trust me." 0

"You still need to go in!" 0

I looked at the surprised expression on the other person's face and nodded. 0

"Are you crazy? They already know your identity! Going in now is just asking for death." 0

I simply looked at him with a calm expression. "Mobai, have you forgotten what I do?" 0

"Forget it, you always have your own opinions." 0

I hugged the man who had compromised from behind, then turned around and walked into the prison with ease. I noticed two people in the corner watching me closely and walked straight toward them. 0

"I've sent the message. What about the girl's whereabouts?" 0

I asked directly. 0

"She's dead." 0

The Scarred Man replied immediately. 0

I punched him to the ground, stepping on his shoulder. Looking into his eyes filled with hatred, I said lightly, "If you can't speak, I don't mind teaching you a lesson." 0

"Enough, Second Sister. The girl is safe. I can tell you where she is, but you need to help us escape." 0

I looked at the man who spoke and directly refused, "I can't do that; I'm also a prisoner." 0

This was met with laughter from him. "Second Sister, at this point, what are you pretending for? How many prisoners have you seen who beat up guards and only ended up in solitary confinement for a few days before coming out to run a little kitchen in the prison?" 0

I lightly cleared my throat but still spoke in a calm tone, "I am indeed a prisoner. I robbed a bank and was imprisoned due to the large amount involved. It's only because I am the warden's girlfriend that I receive certain privileges, but I am still a prisoner." 0

As I watched the other person's expression gradually turn sinister, I felt I hadn't said anything wrong; the facts were as they were. 0

"Then why do you insist on saving that little girl?" 0

The boy continued, "Don't tell me you have some kind of family relationship with her." 0

"Um," I pondered for a moment, shook my head, and replied, "I don't have any family ties with her, but I am her tutor. Isn't it normal to look for a missing student?" 0

"You’re talking nonsense! How could you possibly be her tutor!" 0

I observed the other person's increasingly frantic expression and calmly responded, "How do you know I'm not? Or are you claiming to be her tutor?" 0

As I watched the other person begin to crumble, I continued, "Liu Yun, a professor at A University, whose daughter was kidnapped by traffickers. When he finally found her, he discovered she had been tortured to death. He then decided to take revenge on the traffickers but ended up accidentally killing someone and was imprisoned, right?" 0

"Yes, these things can be easily found out." 0

"Is that so?" I looked at him as he spoke again. "But according to the evidence I have gathered, Professor Liu Yun from A University was actually a child who had been trafficked himself. Due to his exceptionally high intelligence, he caught the attention of traffickers. However, having never received proper education from a young age, he went down the wrong path. He later excelled academically and got into A University. 0

Yet behind the seemingly glamorous facade of an A University professor, he indirectly provided information about children to traffickers through tutoring kids, facilitating their abductions. 0

However, when one runs with such people by the river, it's hard not to get involved. The traffickers were noticed by the county authorities and attempted to use the county mayor's daughter as leverage to escape. Coincidentally, among the children you were tutoring was indeed the mayor's child. You brought that child home. 0

Yet the traffickers couldn't recognize what the mayor's daughter looked like and mistakenly took your daughter who had just returned from outside. In a struggle with the police, they lost their life. Thus, in your quest for revenge, you accidentally killed that trafficker and ended up in prison." 0

"Do you think what I said is right? Professor Liu Yun from A University." 0

"How is that possible? How could you know!" 0

Liu Yun looked at the secret he had concealed for half his life being exposed, and he panicked. He was unwilling to believe it, even more unwilling to admit that he had personally caused his daughter's death. 0

I found the man in front of me, who was collapsing in madness, to be ridiculous. There must be something hateful about a pitiful person. 0

However, the county chief's daughter was innocent. "What about that girl?" 0

I watched as he laughed maniacally, shouting, "She’s dead! She’s dead! She paid for my daughter's life!" 0

"Madman!" 0

I really couldn't empathize with this man at all. I then turned to the Scarred Man, who was lying on the ground, looking at Liu Yun in shock. "You only committed a minor theft. Now tell me where that girl is, and you might get a lighter sentence." 0

Before coming here, I had Ji Mobai investigate. The reason the Scarred Man knew Liu Yun was that he had been a security guard at the county chief's house when Liu Yun kidnapped the county chief's daughter. He had stolen something and was disfigured during his arrest. It must be said that the man's heart was quite petty; he harbored hatred towards the county chief's family because of this. 0

Coincidentally, he met Liu Yun and got involved in the case of abducting the county chief's daughter. 0

I could guess that he knew the whereabouts of the county chief's daughter due to Liu Yun's recent unusual behavior and those two letters filled with flaws yet strangely similar stories. 0

Under the guidance of the Scarred Man, we found a dirty little girl still tending to a fire in a farmhouse. Fortunately, although this farmer wasn't exactly a good person, he was timid. After receiving instructions from Liu Yun, he didn't dare to harm the girl but instead made her help with chores around the house and fed her a little each day, so she was relatively safe. 0

Seeing the bad guy successfully caught, 0

The little girl has reunited with her family, and I leaned in the embrace of Ji Mobai, revealing a happy smile. 0

"That's great, now I can finally retire completely." 0

That's right, I am also a People's Police officer, but one whose family owns several banks. 0

My family didn't want me to continue doing such dangerous work anymore. My husband was worried about me, and besides, I seemed to enjoy cooking and reading Mystery Novels more than being a police officer, so I decided to resign. 0

However, just before my resignation, I suddenly learned that my neighbor's younger sister was missing. How could I just stand by? I remembered that little girl who always followed me around calling me "sister" in her sweet voice. 0

I couldn't just ignore it, which led to everything that happened earlier. But now that the situation has been resolved and everyone is happy, it's time for me to address my personal issues. 0

"You little brat, how dare you team up with others to steal from your own family's bank! You've really grown bold!" 0

"Ah! Mom, I'm sorry!" 0

The end. 0
