Wu Rong was still in the room, lost in thought.

He wanted to find Ye Ming at school to settle the score, but Ye Ming didn't show up at all.
Resigned, he went to class, but during the lesson, he had to face the top student Long Yong, which made him even more frustrated.

With half-closed eyes, Ye Ming said, "What's wrong? Can't that method help you figure out your feelings?"
Wu Rong shot him a fierce glare and returned to his seat, saying, "What kind of method is that!"
Ye Ming burst into laughter.
Wu Rong immediately glared at him.
Ye Ming quickly composed himself and said, "Brother Rong, do you think you have more experience in love than I do? It's really simple to tell if you like someone; it's even simpler for men. This is the easiest and most straightforward way—let your body tell you the answer. You're such a disciplined person; if you find yourself thinking about that person uncontrollably when you're feeling impulsive, that's proof that you have feelings for her! Men are simple; we think instinctively; our instincts will tell us!"
Wu Rong scoffed and said, "You just said it's instinct. Animals have instincts too; do other animals understand love? It's just a product of hormones and brain activity."
Ye Ming chuckled and said, "Could it really be...?" He made a gesture with his hand as if moving something around. "When the time comes... you think of her?"
Wu Rong's expression changed. "Don't make jokes like that!"
With a serious tone, Ye Ming replied, "I'm not joking; I'm trying to enlighten you! Brother Rong, you're really going to drive yourself crazy. With everything that's happened, can't you admit that you've fallen for Rao Jie?"
Wu Rong was momentarily speechless by the question.
Ye Ming sighed and said, "What more do you need to prove? Your feelings for her, your impulses, your hostility towards Long Yong—aren't these enough evidence? What else do you need to prove?"
Wu Rong was left without any momentum after being questioned and ultimately did not provide Ye Ming with an answer. He was still confused himself! For someone who had never been in love, who had never felt anything for a woman and whose mind was filled with mathematics, Rao Jie was like an Unknown Variable X. What exactly was the solution in the end? Was she just an impulsive choice due to their close interactions, or was she the partner he believed he would never change in this lifetime?
He needed to think carefully.
