Rao Jie finally felt at ease and sat down. The classmates around Long Yong still wanted to tease the junior, but they were all stopped by him.
Suddenly, a girl sitting two places away spoke up, "You look a bit familiar; I think I've seen you somewhere before."
Long Yong turned to look at the speaker, who was Chang Fei. As expected, wherever Professor Wu was, Chang Fei would appear. She really was persistent!
Did she recognize Rao Jie because she had seen her with Professor Wu? Long Yong cautiously glanced at Rao Jie, but Rao Jie had no impression of Chang Fei and replied, "I haven't met Senior Sister before."
Chang Fei looked at Rao Jie with some suspicion for a moment before finally withdrawing her gaze and ignoring her.
Long Yong leaned in closer to Rao Jie and whispered, "It seems like this girl has a crush on Professor Wu."
Rao Jie immediately widened her eyes in surprise, while Long Yong took in her expression and savored it slowly.
"Really? Then she... probably doesn't know much about Professor Wu," Rao Jie said sincerely.
Long Yong chuckled softly, "I doubt anyone here really knows Professor Wu!"
It was only after interacting with Rao Jie that Long Yong had the chance to see another side of Professor Wu. It turned out he wasn't an unreachable figure; he was actually quite difficult to get along with.
Seeing that Rao Jie didn't seem bothered, Long Yong decided to change the subject. His purpose in keeping Rao Jie close was to spend more time together, not to discuss Wu Rong or attend his class.
Rao Jie felt a bit nervous sitting among a group of graduate students, but Long Yong seemed very happy as he continued chatting with her. His demeanor was gentle and his gestures intimate; from behind, they looked like a pair of student lovers attending class together.
Rao Jie's classmates behind them were excitedly discussing the possibility of Long Yong and Rao Jie as a couple.
"I can guarantee that the senior is definitely pursuing Rao Jie!"
"Looks like fate is on their side; Rao Jie's next partner will surely be even better."
"Cough cough cough..."
As several students were gossiping enthusiastically, the class monitor suddenly cleared his throat twice. Everyone froze for a moment, just about to ask what was going on when they saw two people walking past them.
Instantly, they fell silent and focused intently on the front.
"I didn't expect you to come. I should have brought the materials I prepared for you earlier," Long Yong said with a smile.
"Materials?" Rao Jie asked in surprise.
Long Yong said, "Here are the materials to help you review. I know you have a fantastic tutor, but I also want to play a part. Although he can teach, he just returned from a foreign country and isn't familiar with a lot of timely information. He can only guide you based on the materials you provide, so I'm here to fill in that gap."
Rao Jie was taken aback. She never expected Long Yong to be so thoughtful and considerate, thinking of things she hadn't even considered herself.
"For example, the exam papers from teachers who have set questions for previous assessments, and the predicted question types that various tutoring institutions believe will be emphasized in this upcoming exam... While it may seem a bit opportunistic, it's still very necessary since your review time is limited."
Rao Jie was genuinely touched by Long Yong's kindness. "Senior, you really don't have to go through all this trouble for me. I feel quite embarrassed by your efforts."
Long Yong smiled and replied, "It's no trouble at all! It's a simple task, so don't worry about it. Besides, I'm good at organizing these things and I actually enjoy it."
