The next set of shots was filmed in a proper indoor kitchen:
The husband returned home from work, and his wife was busy in the kitchen. He embraced her from behind and softly asked in her ear, "What are we having for dinner today?"
The wife gently raised the packaging bag in her hand and replied, "Wild vegetables."
The camera zoomed in on the wild vegetables from Baoliushu Mountain.
Switching scenes, the family of three sat at the dining table, the husband and wife whispering to each other while their six or seven-year-old daughter eagerly ate the cold mixed Pearl Flower with her chopsticks.
This conveyed the brand image of Baoliushu Mountain's wild vegetables, highlighting their health benefits and popularity.
However, due to some ambiguous shots, Qin Chizian appeared extremely unnatural. After two takes, the director called "cut" both times: every time he wrapped his arms around her waist, the softness of her body and her fragrance made him freeze up. He either forgot his lines or moved mechanically, lacking any natural beauty.
The director was frustrated: "Male actor, focus on your emotions! She is your wife, not your queen!"
The crew and Gao Jiajia all burst into laughter.
They recorded two more takes but still couldn't capture the right feeling.
Fu Hongxue spoke up: "Director, can we switch our roles?"
After a moment of thought, the director agreed immediately.
The camera rolled again:
The husband was busy in the kitchen wearing an apron when the wife returned with their daughter.
Seeing her husband working in the kitchen, the wife tenderly wrapped her arms around his waist from behind, resting her chin on his shoulder as she softly asked, "What are we having for dinner?"
The man lifted the bag of wild vegetables he was holding and said, "We're having a taste of my childhood memories." The camera then focused on the wild vegetables from Baoliushu Mountain again.
Cutting to another scene, the family sat at the dining table once more, whispering to each other while their daughter happily ate the cold mixed Pearl Flower with her chopsticks.
A voiceover accompanied: "Our childhood memories, a healthy future for our children."
Surprisingly, both sets of shots were completed in one go!
One major task during this artistic period was finally accomplished!
Accompanied by Gao Jiajia, Qin Chizian sincerely invited Fu Hongxue to dinner. Besides the three of them, there was also a little girl from the advertisement—Gao Jiajia's niece Gao Jingyi, who was in first grade.
Because of filming, the little girl had become quite familiar with Qin Chizian and Fu Hongxue, so much so that Gao Jiajia felt left out and couldn't help but complain, "Why do I feel like I'm the only outsider when the four of us are having a meal together?"
This made Fu Hongxue smile.
Since there were no outsiders, Fu Hongxue shared her own story: she was born in Sichuan, and her family was poor from a young age. However, she had extraordinary musical talent, and her parents worked tirelessly to support her. To save for her high tuition fees, her father spent all year either farming a few acres or working for others, which led to him suffering from lumbar injuries and rheumatism by the time he was just over forty.
After sharing her story, she asked Qin Chizian, "Mr. Qin, what were you like when you were a child?"
Qin Chizian recounted how he and his siblings eagerly awaited ripe melons during their childhood in the production team.
Gao Jiajia, who had never experienced poverty due to her different background, listened to the two reminiscing about their hardships and incredulously said, "Was it really that tough for you when you were kids?"
Gao Jiajia had already become Fu Hongxue's devoted fan. After finishing an advertisement shoot, Fu Hongxue was supposed to rush back to Yanjing, but Gao Jiajia insisted on keeping her there: "Let Brother Qin take us to Bull's Horn Mountain for a day of fun; after we’re done playing, he can drive you straight to Jiangcheng."
She vividly described the legendary tale of how Qin Chizian bravely fought wild boars as if she were there herself.
Surprisingly, she managed to persuade this ethereal superstar.
However, just then, the central television station urged her to return for the final rehearsal of the Spring Festival Gala program.
With no other option, Qin Chizian drove while Miss Gao accompanied them all the way to Jiangcheng Airport, where Gao Jiajia waved goodbye until Fu Hongxue entered the boarding gate before turning back.
Later on, many people including Gao Jiajia, He Hongmei, Aiyaximu, and Old Ba saw the advertisement during prime time on central television and asked, "So tell us, what does it feel like to be embraced by a big star?"
Especially Aiyaximu, who spoke with a hint of jealousy: "My parents saw it on TV and asked if we two have broken up... They were very upset!"
Qin Chizian pleaded for mercy: "My parents called me too! But you should understand that it was just acting!"
Aiyaximu shed tears: "But they all say you like that big star."
Qin Chizian hugged her: "I do like her, but she has to like me too!"
Aiyaximu soon realized it was just a misunderstanding; through her tears, she began to smile again.
Still feeling uneasy, she asked, "Do you still keep in touch?"
