You Were Born a Nobleman, Chapter Two: I Am a Male Witch 0

Tang Zisu looked up at the towering trees that blocked out the sun, realizing she had wandered deep into Peacock Mountain. Listening to the low growls of unknown beasts, Tang Zisu felt her scalp tingle. She called out with a hint of tears in her voice, "Mi Ruanruan, where are you? Mi Ruanruan? We’re not eating mushroom meat sauce noodles anymore, come out quickly. Shu Que Wu Pan." 0

The Night Owl's Lament mocked the big birds flapping their wings noisily. Tang Zisu spun around like a headless fly searching for a way out. To bolster her courage, she began to sing loudly, though Tang Zisu had been tone-deaf since childhood and could only manage a few nursery rhymes, like the one from Smurf: "On the other side of the mountain and the sea, there’s a group of Smurfs, they are lively and clever... la la la." 0

As Tang Zisu sang, the forest fell silent. A fox hiding in the bushes spat out foam and grumbled, "Who the hell went out to steal chickens without breaking their necks? It's driving me crazy." A patterned python coiled tightly around a small mountain mouse and said, "Darling, I'm so scared." 0

The little mountain mouse bit down on the python's forked red tongue and retorted, "Damn it, do you have to act like this? You just want to eat me, right?" 0

The magical sound penetrated the barrier and reached the Demon King's palace. The beautiful figure sleeping on the jade bed stirred slightly; her brow furrowed as if recalling the Demon King of the Magic Realm from three hundred years ago—the Peacock King. 0

Tang Zisu was lost in the jungle. At first, her singing was spirited, but gradually her voice weakened. She noticed it was getting darker, the trees were growing taller, and the grass denser. Yet she found herself going in circles without making any progress. 0

"This can't be a ghost wall, right? No need to be afraid; I'm a materialist who doesn't believe in ghosts or gods. I'm a man; I'm a High Priestess; I'm a male witch..." Tang Zisu muttered to herself, sounding almost like Tang Seng. A small lynx stared at her with its green eyes, thinking that if it ate someone like her, would it even digest properly? Tang Zisu seemed to sense the lynx's resentment; when she turned to look at it directly, she screamed and stepped off into thin air, rolling down a cliff. 0

According to typical story development, this would be the moment for a handsome hero to catch Tang Zisu in his arms and say tenderly, "Miss, are you alright?" However, due to Tang Zisu's usual streak of bad luck, although she didn’t die from the fall, she ended up covered in bird droppings and scraped her left hand on some sharp rocks. 0

Damn it! My life is just one big tea table! 0

Wuwu! Tang Zisu began cursing this damned transmigration for what felt like the thousandth time. But then a miracle happened; she truly discovered— 0

A stone, a smooth large stone resembling a peacock spreading its tail, was entirely emerald green, with hints of colorful light flowing like rippling water within. 0

Tang Zisu's eyes brimmed with tears, numb with the realization that she had stumbled upon a treasure. The only valuable thing she had seen in Peacock Valley was the silver bracelet on Zhang Dahu's wife's hand. If this were a piece of jade, it would be worth a fortune. Oh my, she was going to get rich. 0

Tang Zisu circled around the Malachite, fully utilizing her professional expertise to evaluate the stone. She couldn't help but reach out to touch the Malachite, and it felt as smooth and cool as jade. When the stone came into contact with Tang Zisu's bleeding hand, it began to suck up the blood like a living creature, its color shifting from green to red, becoming intensely hot. 0

The sudden sharp pain made Tang Zisu withdraw her hand, but her left hand seemed glued to the stone, hissing and emitting white smoke. The surface of her skin was burning hot, yet her bones felt cold, as if immersed in ice water. This torment of extreme heat and cold caused Tang Zisu to stagger and fall to the ground, and then everything went black as she fainted. 0
