"Master, long time no see—" 0

"Welcome, welcome, Master Hong." 0

Another hearty laugh rang out, "Master, do you still remember this old man?" 0

Sang Qin continued to smile gracefully, "Ah, it’s the head of Qingcheng. My apologies." 0

... 0

I bit into my apple, disdainfully watching these hypocritical folks. Old Buddy really had a good temperament; he stood in one position for so long, maintaining a smile without any hint of strain or insincerity. It seemed as if his warmth and sincerity were genuine welcomes, truly heartfelt joy. 0

Hmph, I scoffed lightly and took a big bite, crunching loudly without any regard for my image. This Old Buddy was either an excellent actor, a cunning old fox, or just a mild-mannered man who was easy to fool! 0

But feeling my scornful gaze upon him, he suddenly turned around and smiled gently at me, radiating warmth. There was an unspoken affection in his demeanor. 0

Sigh, I was the type who responded better to gentleness than harshness. As soon as I met his spring-like warm gaze, I immediately softened. 0

He waved me over, and I obediently lowered my head and walked over. He pulled me forward and introduced me to someone I didn’t recognize: "This is my disciple, An—" 0

I interrupted him, "Hello, uncle. I am Little Jin. Please take care of me." I put on a demure and humble demeanor. 0

The man looked me over with satisfaction and said to Old Buddy, "Brother Sang, not bad at all. Your disciple is surely promising." 0

I rolled my eyes internally at his strange expression. Old Buddy chuckled awkwardly at the man: "Brother Xiao, please come inside. After you." 0

Once the man left, he helplessly said to me, "I say, girl, can’t you show your master a little respect? What kind of grimace was that? What would the guests think?" 0

I shot him a glare. What did he mean by a grimace? Gritting my teeth, I replied, "Master, you really are humorous; your charm hasn’t faded over the years. Ten uncles are waiting impatiently in the back hall. They asked me to check if you could go down to the market." 0

He pondered for a moment, glancing at the crowd of guests before finally saying, "Alright then. Just keep an eye on my brothers and don’t cause any trouble, understood?" 0

"Got it." Finally! I could go out. After being cooped up in my room for days while Old Buddy dealt with guests, I had lost interest in this dull Sword Sage Villa after visiting the palace and Jun Jin Villa. I was nearly bored to death. 0

Holding Little White and a few old rascals, I naturally took the back door down the mountain. Sigh, if someone saw the Ten Monsters making a comeback, it would surely scare these people to death. At that point, there would be a righteous campaign against the Ten Monsters, leading to all sorts of bloodshed, and I would become the instigator. 0

When I reached the foot of the mountain, I arrived at Wuran City, the most prosperous place here and the richest in the Southwest. The market was filled with dazzling treasures from various countries in the Southwest, truly enviable for everyone. I was somewhat better off; having lived for so many years, I had seen quite a lot. But the Ten Monsters were like newborns, curiously looking around and touching everything. 0

Like children. 0

"Come here, kid! Look at this red one; what is it?" While I was examining an ancient Eastern bracelet, Nine Monsters suddenly pulled me to a strange stall. It was beautiful; at that moment, there was something as clear and bright as glass—Liuli Stone. Moreover, everything at this stall was red. How special! I glanced at what had surprised Nine Monsters and said indifferently, "That's Red Coral Stone; what's so surprising about it?" After saying that, I continued to focus on these red treasures. I've loved red since I was young, and seeing so many beautiful red items at once was truly breathtaking. 0

"Do you like this 'Feng Fei'?" I looked up to find that it was the owner of the stall. He wore a long robe like other Arabs, with only one eye visible. However, his pupil was a striking sapphire blue—so unique! It seemed to ripple like the ocean inside, shallow yet shimmering with colors, captivatingly beautiful. I couldn't help but look at him again. 0

I gazed at him while lifting the red glass bracelet that I adored and said, "It's called 'Feng Fei'? What a strange name, but it sounds nice." 0

He looked deeply into my eyes and softly said, "Non-phoenix is phoenix." 0

I responded with a puzzled "Oh," thinking how odd that sounded. "How much is this? I'd like to buy it." 0

He chuckled lightly. "You are its master; no need for money. Just take it with you." 0

"How can that be?" Just as I was about to say something to him, Nine Uncle, who had been watching our conversation with impatience, grabbed my collar and said irritably, "Since he gave it to you, let's go." Before I could protest with a few "Heys," he had already dragged me far away. 0

In the distance, I vaguely heard that strange foreign man say, "My name is Murong Han; we will meet again." 0

Murong Han? Why does that sound like a Chinese name? And so familiar? 0

Before I could think further, the excited ten people dragged me along as we continued to wander around. Just when everyone’s stomach started growling and we were about to look for food, Nine Uncle suddenly leaned close to my ear and said, "Someone has been following us from behind for quite some time since we left the village. Be careful." 0

I waved my hand and laughed heartily a few times. "How could that be? You're overthinking it." After saying that, regardless of his furrowed brow, I ran ahead to joke with the other uncles. 0

Nine Monsters pondered for a moment behind me. Looking at my carefree and happy demeanor, he thought perhaps he really was being overly suspicious. With that thought in mind, his frown relaxed considerably. 0

I patted my chest; thankfully! Of course he wasn't being overly suspicious; it was when I mentioned wanting to leave the village at Sword Sage Villa that Azure Thorn insisted on following me for protection. I wouldn't allow it; they had hidden in the shadows all along and had followed me this whole way. 0

I knew that after the last incident, he and Little Seven had been unable to let go of their feelings, constantly feeling guilty for not protecting me well enough. Since that day, he had been shadowing me, secretly watching over me. No matter what I said, it was useless. 0

After walking for a while, I spotted a bustling restaurant. Upon closer inspection, I saw the sign read "Flower Breaking Child." What a strange name. I had heard people say that the more crowded a place was, the better the food would be. So, I grabbed a few uncles and eagerly rushed inside. After navigating through the dense crowd, we finally found two tables where we could sit. 0

I had the waiter order a few of the restaurant's specialty dishes. After inquiring, I learned that "Flower Breaking Child" was actually the name of the owner. What an interesting name! It reminded me of that poetic title; wasn't there something like "Flower Breaking Child" in later literature? 0

We were enjoying our meal quite happily when a stunningly enchanting beauty approached us with a plate of dim sum. The moment I saw her, my eyes lit up. She resembled the character played by Maggie Cheung in "Dragon Gate Inn," with a spicy and alluring demeanor that elevated her charm even further. It was truly a feast for the eyes. Lost in admiration... 0

"My mouth is watering," came the annoying voice of Nine Uncle from my ear, shattering the moment's beauty. Reflexively wiping my chin, I found nothing there. Suddenly, a light laugh echoed in my ear. Damn it, another trick! I clenched my fist. 0

The owner also covered her mouth and laughed gracefully as she turned towards us. Her movements reminded me of 'drifting hips' as she approached and sat down in an empty spot right in front of me. Her gaze lingered on me as she sweetly said, "Dear guests, this is a complimentary dish from our restaurant. Welcome to Wuran City for the first time." If I weren’t a woman myself and hadn’t grown accustomed to having Sister Dan Yi’s unparalleled beauty by my side, I would have surely been captivated by her enchanting looks. 0

What a charming woman! Was she what poets described with their myriad expressions of beauty? 0

However, as she continued to smile at me flirtatiously, her expression suddenly changed when she inadvertently caught sight of the red bracelet on my wrist. Her face paled in shock, almost ghostly white. I had never seen such a drastic change before; she took my hand and stared at the bracelet for what felt like an eternity before murmuring in disbelief, "How is this possible? How could he have given you the bracelet?" 0

I looked at her in confusion and asked, "What's wrong? Is there an issue?" 0
