Mary couldn't help but laugh after listening to Alan's calm analysis. 0

"Wow, Alan, you are really too rational and calm. Do you know that sometimes, life needs a bit of mystery and the unknown?" She made an exaggerated gesture, as if trying to imitate a great wizard. "Who knows, maybe in this world, there really is a place like the backroom. Perhaps, just perhaps, when we're not paying attention, we might suddenly fall into it, and then in that endless floor, constantly searching for an exit, trying to escape." 0

Alan chuckled lightly, with a hint of self-mockery in his tone. 0

"You saying that does make life seem a bit more exciting. If there really is such a place, I'm not sure if I would have the courage to survive in that endless chaos, but you're right. Life occasionally needs a bit of the unknown and mystery to break the monotony." 0

He turned his head and gazed at the screen of the live broadcast, his tone becoming solemn. 0

"So, ladies and gentlemen, we are discussing a rather legendary urban legend in this game 'Minecraft' - the 'backroom'. What are your thoughts on this mysterious place? If it really exists, would you choose to bravely venture in to explore, or to avoid it from a distance?" 0

The barrage of bullet comments began to fly like a waterfall. The audience's reaction was surprisingly enthusiastic. 0

"Explore! We must explore!" wrote a viewer with the ID "AdventureKing." 0

"Do you not think this is very dangerous? Who knows what could happen there!" Another viewer with the ID "CautiousCat" reminded. 0

"backroomSounds like a great place to earn a lot of resources and experience points!" Someone focused on the practical aspect of the game. 0

"If there really is a backroom, I'm willing to explore it with you all!" proposed an audience member with the ID "BraveCompanion." 0

"I think this is a rumor deliberately spread by the game designer to attract more players," someone expressed skepticism. 0

"If this is really an Urban legends, then there must be a reason for this legend to exist. I will be very careful, but also very curious," commented another more rational viewer. 0

The conversation between Mary and Alan made the barrage very active, and the audience expressed their own opinions and thoughts. For a while, the barrage on the screen seemed to become a torrent, constantly flowing. 0

"I think it's too dangerous to go to the backroom." 0

"Curiosity killed the cat, it's better not to go." 0

"I really want to see what the backroom is like. If you go, you must livestream it!" 0

"Challenging the unknown always carries risks, but it's also more exciting. I support you going!" 0

At that moment, Kevin suddenly spoke up, breaking his previous silence. 0

"Perhaps falling into the backroom isn't such a bad thing after all," he said in such a natural tone, as if this topic was just a mundane incident in his daily life. 0

Mary and Alan were both a little surprised and turned their gaze towards him. 0

"Think about it," Kevin continued, "in this boring school, what is there to hold onto? Our families, our relationships, it's all a mess. If the backroom really exists, there are at least endless floors waiting for us to explore. And, from what I understand, many of the floors in the backroom are actually relatively safe." 0

"Are you saying that entering the backroom is also a choice?" Mary asked with a hint of doubt. 0

"Why not?" Kevin glanced at the barrage of comments flying across the screen. "Look, everyone is full of curiosity and anticipation for the backroom, despite the risks. Perhaps we can find some meaning, some value, some sense of self in that unknown world." 0

Just as the conversation ended, a heated discussion erupted in the barrage of comments. 0

"You guys don't understand!" Kevin suddenly raised his voice, almost interrupting Mary and Alan's conversation. "What are these so-called 'rules' and 'safety'? In this broken reality, what's worse than the backroom? At least we can live there without constraints, free from the shackles of family, school, and society!" 0

Mary and Alan were both shocked by Kevin's excitement and didn't know how to respond. 0

"You all know that in many backroom floors, many are safe, and we can freely explore, even establish our own kingdom. There's no media, no police, no parents, and no one to tell you how to live! Yes, backroom has risks, but risks are everywhere. You might get hit by a car in the real world tomorrow, so what?" 0

The barrage on the screen instantly split into two factions, one supporting Kevin's viewpoint, believing that escaping from the oppression of reality is worth the risk; while the other questioned his negative attitude, with some even beginning to question his mental state. 0

Alan furrowed his brow and said, "Kevin, I understand your dissatisfaction with reality, I have had similar feelings. But we cannot blindly seek alternatives, especially in such an unknown and dangerous place." 0

Kevin took a deep breath, sighed, and then said, "Maybe, but if we never dare to take that step, how will we ever know?" 0

The barrage on the screen continued to debate fiercely, but among Kevin, Mary, and Alan, there seemed to be some subtle consensus. They were all looking for an exit that belonged to them, no matter what or where it was. And this live broadcast and discussion undoubtedly deepened their common understanding of this goal. 0

Kevin no longer waits for a response. His hands quickly tap on the keyboard, controlling his game character. He opens the character's inventory, selects the sparkling blue diamond necklace, and clicks to equip it. 0

Kevin's character puts on the diamond necklace and slowly walks to the edge of The End. The dark abyss opens beneath his feet, as if ready to swallow everything at any moment. 0

"I've made up my mind today," Kevin said firmly, "No matter how you see it, I won't change my mind. This game, this backroom, may be my last way out. If you're willing, you can jump with me. If not, please respect my choice." 0

The barrage on the screen almost stopped scrolling at this time, and everyone was quietly watching Kevin's character standing on the edge of the bottomless darkness. 0
