Xin'er immediately panicked and rushed over to help Xiao Zi.
"Xiao Zi, are you okay!? Is everything alright!?"
"Yes, Sister Xin, I'm fine. Let's hurry and escape!"

Xin'er and Xiao Zi were both terrified, their faces pale at the sight before them.
Without hesitation, Xin'er swept her gaze around and grabbed something nearby, hurling it at the approaching servants with all her might.

In an instant, the once silent night erupted into chaos.

While Xin'er and Xiao Zi were having a blast throwing things, Sister Yao's face turned from red to green, then to a deep shade of blue. The veins on her forehead bulged as her meticulously made-up face twisted in anger, looking quite terrifying.
This place, every scene and object within it, was something she had spent a fortune to build. Each item represented a significant investment! Now, watching her lavishly decorated courtyard turn into a wreck in mere moments—vases shattered and scrolls torn—Sister Yao felt an intense fury rising within her!
Initially, she had only intended to scare Xin'er and Xiao Zi into submission and teach them a lesson. After all, Xin'er's beauty was exceptional; if sold, she could fetch a good price!

Hearing the sigh in his voice, Xin'er felt her own hesitations dissolve.
It was him! It really was him!
With that thought, Xin'er could no longer hold back; she launched herself into his arms like an arrow released from a bow.
The man, with his ape-like arm outstretched, caught the young lady effortlessly.
As he felt her warmth against him, Leng Yixuan tightened his embrace, holding her as if he wanted to meld her into his very being.
Because only then would she remain by his side forever, never to part again.
"Xin'er, I finally found you. It's so good!"
Leng Yixuan said as he lowered his head, burying his chin in the crook of her neck, inhaling the sweet fragrance of her hair to soothe the emptiness he had felt over the past two days.
