The three of them became breathless, like wild beasts bound, desperately running blindly in this endless corridor. No matter how hard they tried, it seemed they couldn't escape this terrifying cycle. Behind each door was an identical hallway, each connecting to the same room. The lifeless yellow carpet revealed every footstep, and the shadows cast by the white fluorescent lights seemed to be constantly swaying, as if something was hidden within. 0

The monsters' cries echoed continuously around them, not a single sound but multiple, overlapping growls and screams. These sounds were like a curse, lingering in their ears, amplifying their fear. The monsters seemed to sense their presence, their voices growing closer and clearer, like the overwhelming approach of a stampeding herd. 0

The air around seemed to be controlled by this strange force, making each breath feel oppressive, as if an invisible hand was pressing on their chests, causing their hearts to race and making it difficult to breathe. 0

Tears fell from Mary's eyes onto the carpet, "Kevin... I'm scared," she tightly held onto Kevin's arm as if it were her only support. 0

Kevin gritted his teeth, trying to boost morale. "I know, but we have to keep running. We can't stop," he said, his voice trembling slightly but still firm. 0

Alan moved forward in silence, his glasses reflecting the terrifying scenes around him. His mind raced, trying to find the pattern in this space, hoping to find a chance to escape. 0

However, time seems to have lost its meaning here. They don't know how long they have been running, or how much longer they can keep going. All they know is that the monster's cries and the oppressive feeling around them are growing stronger, as if they are about to be completely swallowed up. The three of them are also reaching their physical limits, every step feeling like a struggle on the edge of an abyss, not knowing when they might completely fall into it. 0

With each shift in their weight as they take each step, Kevin, Mary, and Alan feel the increasingly heavy presence of evil behind them. The low growls and sharp screams they could initially only hear are gradually taking on a physical form. The sound of footsteps becomes clearer and each step feels like a blow to their hearts, multiplying their fear. Glancing behind them, they catch sight of the indistinct form of the monster gradually becoming visible, its dark and twisted figure shadowing them in the dim corridor. 0

Mary's heartbeat became more intense, and every breath felt like inhaling icy blades, stabbing at her lungs. Her hands were constantly sweating, and her eyes were filled with despair. But just as she was on the verge of collapsing, Kevin tightly grabbed her hand and gave her an encouraging look. 0

Alan's lips moved slightly, as if he wanted to say something, but then stopped. His rational mind told him that cooperation was needed more than ever at this moment, and only by uniting could they possibly find a way to survive. 0

But the truth is cruel, the three of them know they cannot escape the pursuit of the monster. Their physical strength is depleting too quickly, and the monster behind them seems to never tire. Every time they feel the distance has widened, they hear the low growl of the monster close by. Weariness, fear, and despair intertwine, surrounding them like an invisible mountain, weighing heavily on their hearts. 0

In this moment of life and death, they all know that if they continue this endless escape, the ultimate result will be death. But giving up means immediate termination. This dilemma has dealt an unprecedented blow to their spirits, and every second feels like an eternity. They must make a decision in a very short time to find a possibility of survival. 0

The three of them hurried their steps, each footfall on the ground accompanied by a heartbeat-like tension. Kevin, Mary, and Alan ran as fast as the wind, attempting to escape the suffocating fear. But as they hoped to find a corner to hide, they suddenly discovered that the road ahead had been blocked by an alley. At the end of the dead-end alley was a wall made of old bricks, covered in green moss, and this moment of despair almost stopped their heartbeats. 0

Kevin quickly scanned the surroundings, hoping to find a hidden exit or a place to climb. However, the high walls on all sides seemed like a prison, trapping them. Mary hugged herself tightly, tears mixed with sweat streaming down her cheeks, her breathing rapid and uneven, murmuring something under her breath. And Alan eyes were filled with despair and disbelief. He had always been calm, but at this moment, he couldn't help but feel a little panicked. 0

Suddenly, a cold wind blew from behind, followed by a series of eerie sounds. The group of monsters was approaching, their twisted and grotesque figures appearing in the dim light. The suckers covering their bodies looked even more eerie in this kind of light, like a group of wriggling, hateful eyes. The pungent stench became even stronger, as if trying to suffocate the senses of those present. 0

The sounds emanating from the monsters' mouths chilled the hearts of the three. It was the crying, laughter, coughing, and screaming of humans, but all mixed and distorted, becoming an emotionless, cold-blooded language. Every "kill, kill, kill" or "eat, eat, eat" sounded like a curse from hell, causing fear and panic. 0

Three people quickly retreated, but the monster's approach speed was astonishingly fast. The group of strange, twisted creatures, accompanied by a foul smell and terrifying human voices, filled the air with a sense of deathly silence. With each step backward, the heartbeats of the three people became faster, each heartbeat sounding like the toll of a bell, foretelling the end of life. 0

As they continued to move backward, Kevin felt his heel hit some kind of obstacle, and upon looking, he found it was a wall. He hurriedly searched to the sides, hoping to find a crevice or an exit, but there was nothing. Mary and Alan were also similarly blocked, and they all knew this was a dead end. 0

Three people huddled tightly against the cold stone wall, their eyes filled with deep despair. Mary's eyes were full of tears as she tightly grasped Kevin's hand, while Alan closed his eyes and forced a bitter smile. In that moment, they all shared one common thought: they didn't want to die. 0

But the monsters didn't give them a moment's respite. They were getting closer and closer, their twisted bodies and suction-cup-like protrusions becoming clearer. Their mouths opened wider, as if they could already taste their prey. 0
