In the dungeon, it was dark and damp; even during the day, it remained pitch black.

Brother Guard led Xin'er and Xiao Huan into the dungeon and pointed them in the right direction before speaking to Xin'er.

Upon hearing Brother Guard's words, Xin'er immediately smiled politely. She then turned around and led Xiao Huan along the path indicated by the guard.

Hearing such a vicious curse from the woman left Xin'er terrified.

Hearing Xiao Huan's words, Xin'er understood that she was concerned for her, and felt grateful. She nodded at Xiao Huan, then turned to the cage where Aotian Xue was imprisoned.
"Sister Tianxue, I just want to ask you, why did you lock me in this room!?"
Upon hearing Xin'er's question, Aotian Xue scoffed and replied disdainfully.
"Are you really that stupid? You’re asking me why I locked you in here? It's because I don't want you ruining my chances with him!"
"Him!?"
Xin'er was taken aback by Aotian Xue's words, but then it dawned on her.
"The him you're talking about is Xuan!? You like Xuan!?"
The last sentence was asked with a hint of probing.
Aotian Xue raised her chin defiantly and unabashedly declared, "Yes, I like Leng Yixuan! I've set my sights on this man, so women like you, who are beneath me, should just stay away! No one can compete with me for the man I want!"

Upon hearing Aotian Xue's declaration, both Xin'er and Xiao Huan were momentarily stunned.

Xiao Huan laughed so hard that she was clutching her stomach, nearly rolling on the ground.
Seeing this, Aotian Xue felt her pride severely wounded.

And this person was none other than Leng Yixuan!
