When Xin'er slowly woke up, she found herself lying on Cold Charm Chen's bed.
Thinking about how she had fainted earlier, Xin'er suddenly sat up in bed. She quickly threw off the covers, intending to get up and check on Leng Yixuan.

"What are you doing?"
"Brother Su, how is Xuan? I need to go see him!"

Upon hearing this, Cold Charm Chen glanced at Xin'er beside him before responding in a deep voice. "This is Lily Town. I am a fisherman. Two days ago, while fishing, I found you in the river, badly injured. I brought you here and had a doctor tend to your wounds. Don't worry; if you rest well, you'll be fully healed in half a month."
Leng Yixuan paused for a moment, processing the information, then replied, "Oh, thank you very much."
"No need to be polite. You've just woken up; first, take your medicine," Cold Charm Chen urged.
"Here," Cold Charm Chen said, as Xin'er immediately handed him the freshly brewed medicine.
However, at that moment, Leng Yixuan, lying on the bed, seemed to sense something and spoke up.
"It seems there are other people in the room!"
Hearing this, Xin'er and Cold Charm Chen exchanged surprised glances. Cold Charm Chen was the first to regain his composure and replied.
"Oh, yes. This is my wife. She cannot speak but can hear. If you need anything, just tell my wife. I am Cold, with the single name Chen."
"Oh, I see. Thank you, Brother Cold, and thank you to Sister-in-law," Leng Yixuan responded.
At these words, a faint smile appeared on Cold Charm Chen's lips, seemingly pleased with how Leng Yixuan referred to Xin'er.
