It had already turned completely dark, and Xu Nuan felt a sense of panic. Gu Ze was nowhere to be seen, and He Min's attitude was so strange that it sent a wave of unease rushing to her heart. The area she could see was so limited, amplifying her sense of crisis.
In the dim light, she noticed that He Min's eyes shone with an unsettling brightness. Of course, it wasn't the eyes themselves that were glowing; it was the expression within them, something she had never seen before.
Xu Nuan felt increasingly uneasy, but there was no way to pinpoint the source of her discomfort.
