"Ah?"
"Aunt, my uncle definitely likes you!"
"Ah?"
"How are you so sure?"
"I'm absolutely sure."
"Really?"
"Really."
"What did your uncle say to you?"
"My uncle didn't tell me, but I know he likes you."
So, does Tan Feng really like me?
But what does he like about me?
What do I have that he would like?
Tan Feng walked over to me. "Let's go."
"Where to?"
"I'm taking you to try the new Fruit Wine."
"Okay!"
I happily followed Tan Feng as he led me to drink Fruit Wine.
He ordered a low-alcohol Fruit Wine for me, which tasted almost like juice.
But my face still turned red.
Tan Feng looked at me with a somewhat infatuated expression.
What's wrong with him?
Why is he looking at me like that?
I instinctively touched my face. "Is there something on my face?"
"No."
"Then why are you looking at me like that?"
"You're beautiful."
I was taken aback.
He said I'm beautiful.
So, does he really like me?
But what does he actually like about me?
I stole a glance at him.
He was looking at me too.
Our eyes met.
His gaze lingered on me, unwilling to look away for even a moment.
My heart raced as I kept drinking.
I lost track of how much I had consumed, feeling a bit dizzy.
I stood up and said, "I'm going to the restroom."
"I'll go with you," he replied.
"No, it's fine. I can go by myself."
I stood up and swayed slightly as I made my way to the restroom.
After finishing, I stepped out only to suddenly realize my bracelet was missing.
That bracelet was a gift from my mother for my eighteenth birthday.
I had always cherished it.
How could I have lost it?
I searched everywhere for the bracelet but couldn’t find it.
As the sky darkened, I felt panic rising, tears brimming in my eyes.
Tan Feng found me and asked, "What’s wrong?"
"My bracelet is gone."
"Don't cry; I'll help you look for it."
"How are we going to find it?"
"Like this."
Tan Feng took me to the broadcasting room and had the staff make an announcement about the lost item.
In the end, they even offered a reward of one hundred thousand.
Money is great!
But with so many people around, what if someone finds the bracelet and doesn’t return it to me?
Tan Feng seemed to sense my worries:
"If no one returns it, I'll take you to buy a new one tomorrow."
"No, that's not necessary."
"It's okay; as long as you're happy."
He really loves me so much!
But what have I done to deserve this?
I waited until it got dark, yet no one returned my bracelet.
"Don't be sad," Tan Feng comforted me. "I'll take you to buy a new one tomorrow."
"No need."
"Alright, stop crying."
"I'm not crying."
"Then what is this?"
Tan Feng gently wiped away my tears.
Did I really cry?
Maybe I cared too much about that bracelet.
"I booked a room at the hotel," Tan Feng said. "We'll stay there tonight."
"Huh?"
Late at night, I stood by the pool, watching Tan Feng's clothes soaked from the water, and quickly waved my hand. "Come back up!"
"It's fine." Tan Feng let his sleeves fall and casually rolled them up again.
"Actually, I could hire someone to help find it, but since it's something so important to you, I feel like finding it myself would be more meaningful."
As he spoke, Tan Feng touched the tip of his nose, a sign of his slight nervousness.
"You should go back and get some sleep," he said softly in the night. "If I really can't find it, I'll hire someone to help me, and I'll definitely have it for you by tomorrow morning."
His voice was calm, but his expression was particularly serious, looking at me as if making a promise.
I stood by the pool, quietly watching him.
