As Jack sprinted desperately towards the abandoned LeBuy mall, his heart was filled with despair and fear. He could almost feel the cold, indifferent gaze of the giant scorpion following closely behind him, its massive pincers and stinger tail swishing, bringing forth the sound of gravel being struck. 0

Just as he thought he was about to reach the relative safety of the mall, a tremendous force suddenly struck his leg. He felt a sharp, intense pain and was then knocked to the ground by the terrifying giant pincers. Losing his balance, he tumbled onto the dusty ground, ultimately crashing heavily into the parking sign in front of the store. 0

Jack's heart was pounding violently, each beat accompanied by a stabbing pain and panic. His vision became blurry amidst the impact of dust and gravel, and each breath felt like inhaling endless dust. His mind was in chaos, constantly replaying the terrifying image of the giant scorpion - its massive pincers and the sharp, glinting stinger. 0

As he attempted to stand up again, he felt his legs burning, each attempt to move bringing unbearable pain. His palms scraped against the sand, trying to find a point of support. His fingers touched icy stones and sharp shards, but none provided enough support. 0

His breathing became more and more rapid, each breath feeling like it was drawing out the last bit of strength from his body. His tears mixed with the dust, blurring his vision. He gritted his teeth, forcing himself not to give up, but his body seemed to have reached its limit. 0

Just then, the enormous claw approached again, accompanied by a heavy and terrifying roar. Jack felt a tremendous force pressing down on him, and a kind of unprecedented panic surged in his heart. He closed his eyes, feeling as if his life had stopped beating at that moment. His heart was filled with longing for the future, memories of the shelter, love for Alice, and anger and hatred towards Bruce and Helen. 0

Jack desperately retreated on the ground, hands propped up, legs scraping against the cold gravel and sand. His eyes were filled with despair and panic, but also a glimmer of resilience. In front of him, the giant scorpion moved slowly, each step carrying a heavy sense of threat. Its fierce pincers and tail shimmering with green light made Jack feel deeply powerless. 0

In this despair, Jack's fingers finally touched a small stone. He quickly picked it up and threw it with all his strength at the giant scorpion. The stone hit the hard shell of the giant scorpion and made a crisp sound, but it seemed to have no effect, quickly bouncing off the shell. 0

Jack's fingers tightly grasped one piece of rock after another, his movements swift and desperate. Each throw was accompanied by all his strength and a roar, but to the giant scorpion, these rocks were just a mild annoyance. Every time a rock hit the giant scorpion, it only made a crisp sound and then fell weakly into the dust. 0

A hint of despair flashed in Jack's eyes. He watched the rocks fall into the dust, realizing that his struggle might be meaningless. The giant scorpion seemed indifferent to his resistance, its steps still steady and threatening, each one carrying the breath of death. 0

In this helpless moment, a nameless anger surged in Jack's heart. He was unwilling to be defeated so easily, unwilling to die silently. He began to pick up more stones, not just small ones, but also broken bricks and hard lumps, anything he could find as a weapon. 0

Every throw by Jack was accompanied by a roar. His muscles began to burn from the intense activity, and each throw brought more pain to his arms. But he didn't stop, his eyes shining with an unyielding flame. 0

Jack felt the pincers of the giant scorpion impatiently scraping in the sand, its tail swishing occasionally, ready to launch a deadly attack at any moment. He felt each breath becoming increasingly difficult, as the dust in the air and his own fear seemed to tighten around his throat. 0

In this life-and-death struggle, Jack felt his inner self filled with tension and fear. He didn't know how much longer he could hold on, or what the outcome of this battle would be. Yet, even so, his heart was still filled with a determination for life and a longing for the future. He struggled desperately, knowing his strength was insignificant, but he still chose to resist. 0

Facing the close-range threat of the giant scorpion, Jack felt his heart rate rapidly increasing. He stared directly into the creature's eyes, filled with a murderous intent, and felt the heat exhaled by this mutated creature. The roar of the giant scorpion echoed across the desolate land, as if proclaiming its absolute dominance and power. 0

However, in the face of this giant creature, Jack not only did not retreat, but instead ignited a rebellious flame in his heart. His roar and the giant scorpion's furious howl confronted each other, creating a strange resonance in the desert. 0

At that moment, Jack felt an unprecedented sensation deep within his soul. He sensed his heart pounding fiercely in his chest, each beat seeming to silently defy the terrifying threat of the giant scorpion. As he stared into the murderous eyes of the giant scorpion, he not only felt a physical fear, but also a profound spiritual shock. 0

This giant scorpion symbolized the cruelty and ruthlessness of this desolate world. Its roar was not only a challenge to life, but also a test for Jack. His reaction shifted from instinctive fear to a rebellious roar, as if telling the world that even on the brink of despair, he would not give up the struggle. 0

Jack's roar was filled with his anger at the betrayal of the shelter and his disappointment in humanity. In this desolate land, he let out a deep roar at the creature that only knew survival, releasing all his pain, injustice, and despair. Each roar was a protest against his past life and a refusal to accept his future fate. 0

The presence of the giant scorpion, although fierce, strangely brought Jack a sense of comfort in a certain way. Compared to the complexity and deceit of humans, the actions of the giant scorpion were more direct and pure. It wouldn't lie or betray; it simply followed its instincts. 0
