In the dim corridor of the Sky Building, Jack stared intently into the darkness ahead. Suddenly, a swift and ghostly movement flashed across his vision, a Wild Spider Beast gliding through the darkness like a shadow. As they ran, Jack focused entirely on finding a way out, trying to avoid any obstacles that could trap them. Ah Mao and the dogs followed at an astonishing speed, their presence giving Jack courage and strength.
Jack's heart was pounding as he ran through the ruins, feeling the pressure almost suffocating him. Running at full speed, he used his superpowers to lift tables, chairs, and even broken door panels with his telekinesis, hurling them behind him to create obstacles to slow down the pursuing Wild Spider Beasts. Although these makeshift barriers couldn't completely stop the agile creatures, they were enough to make them slow down, buying precious time for escape.
Ah Mao and the other dogs seemed to possess an innate fighting instinct, maneuvering agilely through the ruins to clear a path for Jack, occasionally turning back to threaten the pursuers with barking. It seemed like the entire Sky City had been taken over by these Wild Spider Beasts, with every step and every corner potentially hiding these dangerous creatures. In the dark corners, their gleaming compound eyes and eerie growls could appear at any moment.
As they delved into every corner of this apocalyptic city, Jack felt like he was lost in a deserted wilderness. Every time he used telekinesis to manipulate objects, he could feel the drain of energy within him. But he knew that survival was the most important thing at this moment, no matter the cost.
Finally seeing the exit of the ground floor lobby and feeling the light coming in from outside, Jack and the dogs seemed to see the dawn of hope. Their emotions became unusually excited at this moment. However, at this critical moment, Ah Mao suddenly let out an unprecedented fierce roar, warning of the impending danger.
Jack had no time to react before a thick, dense Mud pounced on him like a wild beast, instantly knocking him to the ground. The power of the Mud was unmatched, carrying astonishing force and stickiness, firmly pinning Jack to the cold floor, rendering him immobile. This Mud was no ordinary mud, but the attack launched by the super-powered individual with control over Mud—the Mud Man.
Jack was filled with shock and disbelief, completely unprepared to encounter the ambush of Mud Man here. The Mud Man emerged from the shadows, wearing a cold smile and a cunning gleam in his eyes. He looked at Jack, trapped by his Mud attack, seemingly relishing the satisfaction of his prey falling into the trap.
Ah Mao and the other dogs immediately launched an attack on Mud in an attempt to protect Jack, but it seemed that Mud was prepared. With a wave of his hand, more Mud emerged from the ground like living creatures, forming protective walls that blocked the dogs' attacks.
At that moment, Jack realized clearly that they had not only trespassed into the territory of the Wild Spider Beast, but had also unwittingly stumbled into a trap set by this group of super-powered individuals.
In an emergency situation where Jack was sprayed and trapped by Mud, he reacted quickly. With a gentle wave of his hand, relying on his strong telekinetic power, he lifted the nearby cabinet and slammed it towards the Mud man. Although the Mud man had powerful control over Mud, he was still caught off guard by the sudden heavy blow.
At this critical moment, the Wild Spider Beast, which had been chasing Jack and the dogs, noticed these new intruders. Their survival instinct drove them to redirect their focus towards the Mud man and his companion. These monsters born from nuclear radiation contamination have extremely high hostility towards any creatures invading their territory.
Mud, seeing the situation, had no choice but to deal with the sudden appearance of the Wild Spider Beast. At that moment, Thorn Man reacted quickly. His body was covered with sharp thorns, like a moving porcupine. He swung his fist and fiercely struck a nearby Wild Spider Beast. The thorns shot out like bullets, piercing the outer shell of the Wild Spider Beast and causing fatal damage.
Amidst this unexpected melee, Jack seized the opportunity to escape. He used this opening to struggle free from Mud's restraint and attempted to stand up.
And Ah Mao and other dogs took this opportunity to gang up on other Wild Spider Beasts in an attempt to protect Jack.
