Mud and Chuchan walked through the city at the end of the world, surrounded by silence. Only the sound of their footsteps and occasional distant barking broke the stillness. The night was deep, and on the dilapidated streets, one could occasionally see debris swirling in the wind, adding a touch of desolation to the atmosphere. 0

Chuchan followed behind Mud, his voice uncertain: "Will Sis's plan really succeed?" There was a hint of anticipation in his eyes, but more so, there was worry. After all, they were facing an uncertain adversary, one that even made The Curse of the Wild feel challenged. 0

Mud listened to Chuchan's question and couldn't help but hum, with a firm tone in his voice: "Of course, how could it fail? She's Sis!" His tone revealed absolute trust in Vivian, as if her plans had never failed before. 0

Mud's words seemed to give Chuchan some comfort. He nodded slightly, and his worries decreased slightly. However, they both knew that in this apocalypse, anything could happen, and nothing was absolute. 0

The two continued to walk in silence, each step in the night seeming to silently declare their determination and uncertainty about the future. 0

When Mud and Chuchan returned to the central square of Rado City, they were greeted by a group of Steel Bone Wild Dogs. The dogs angrily howled at them, as if expressing their dissatisfaction and anger with the current situation. Mud was not intimidated by the howls, instead responding with his own low growls, as if engaging in some kind of competition in their own language. Chuchan observed silently on the side, afraid to make any sound to avoid further exciting the dogs. 0

After a brief "communication" with the dogs, the two of them walked towards the dilapidated house that Vivian had entered earlier. The exterior of the house was in disrepair, but the structure of the first floor seemed to be intact, at least providing a shelter that was warmer than the open air. Mud pushed open the door, which creaked open, revealing the dark interior. Although there was no warmth from a fire inside, the air here was much quieter than outside, and the biting cold wind was absent. 0

Once inside, Mud closed the door in an attempt to maintain the indoor temperature. The room was scattered with old furniture and miscellaneous items, showing signs of past habitation. Chuchan found a relatively clean corner to sit down, their gaze wandering in the darkness, adjusting to this new temporary shelter. The silence and darkness inside sharply contrasted with the desolation outside, involuntarily bringing a sense of relief, even though it was so fragile. 0

Mud, under the cover of the deep night, lightly kicked Chuchan with a tone of disgust and impatience, as if unable to tolerate Chuchan's laziness any longer. "Damn it, you lazy bum, go find Sis first and then rest, you idiot!" Chuchan was awakened by the kick, clumsily got up from the ground, and with a helpless look, seemed accustomed to Mud's temper. 0

Without hesitation, Mud stepped onto the rickety old staircase leading to the second floor. Each step made the wooden stairs protest with creaking sounds, as if these old boards could collapse at any moment. But for Mud, it seemed that this was not even within his consideration. The staircase's groans under his weight expressed the deepest dissatisfaction, as if protesting his disregard. 0

When Mud finally reached the second floor, the atmosphere in the room suddenly became extremely tense. A fist silently flew out from the darkness, heading straight for Mud's face. Almost instinctively, Mud quickly stepped back, causing the fist to abruptly stop in front of his face. However, the strong force of the punch felt like a fierce storm, carrying an overwhelming sense of threat. 0

As Mud focused his gaze, he realized that the one throwing the punch was Vivian. Her face was filled with cold anger, and her eyes shot at Mud like sharp arrows, silently questioning why he dared to intrude into her territory. At that moment, Mud felt an unprecedented pressure, realizing that he might have entered a dangerous territory or that the timing of his arrival was extremely inappropriate. But under Vivian's icy gaze, Mud knew that retreating at this moment would be the worst choice. 0

Vivian's anger seems to grow hotter with every passing second. Her cold, piercing gaze seems to hold endless stories and secrets, and every inch of her skin exudes an unchallengeable authority. Mud, standing before her at this moment, looks like a judged sinner, awaiting her judgment. The moment of silence feels like a thousand years of waiting for everyone present, filled with unknowns and tense anticipation. 0

Vivian looks at Mud and Chuchan, and the anger on her face seems to have dissipated slightly, but her eyes still carry an undeniable authority and indifference. She slowly pulls back her fist, a hint of displeasure curling her lips, and in a complaining yet commanding tone, she says, "Damn it, couldn't you have announced your arrival?" Her voice, though not loud, hits Mud and Chuchan like a sledgehammer, leaving no room for any negligence. 0

Mud immediately realized his mistake and quickly apologized with a smile, "I'm sorry Sis, we were afraid of disturbing your rest." His voice was filled with humility and caution, as if afraid of angering Vivian again. Mud and Chuchan both bowed to express their apologies. 0

Vivian gave them a cold glance, then asked calmly, "Is everything taken care of?" Her voice showed little emotional fluctuation, but conveyed an undeniable seriousness and expectation, as if everything was under her control. For Vivian, the performance of these two subordinates directly related to the smooth progress of the entire The Curse of the Wild plan. Each of her questions seemed like a test, assessing whether they could shoulder this heavy responsibility. 0
