Aidan sat at the table, his eyes focused on the interstellar news projected on the tablet. Whenever the news reported on the tense situation between the Interstellar Alliance and the rebels, his face showed dissatisfaction and worry. "Look at these politicians," Aidan muttered, "they only sit in their safe offices giving orders, but they never care about the people suffering on the front lines." His voice was full of disdain and contempt.
He occasionally tapped the table with his fingers, expressing his dissatisfaction with certain news reports. "Do these so-called separatists really think that breaking away from the alliance will solve all the problems?" he asked himself, his expression showing a deep understanding of the complexity of the issue.
Aidan's gaze shifted to other news, discussing abnormal phenomena in distant galaxies. He seemed a bit absent-minded. "The universe is so vast, and we know so little..." he murmured, seemingly pondering deeper questions.
On the other hand, Violet's world seemed completely different from Aidan's. She quietly sipped her floral tea, its faint aroma gently wafting through the air. Her eyes closed, her expression serene, as if unaffected by the outside clamor. Each of her breaths seemed so calm and rhythmic, sharply contrasting with Aidan's tension and restlessness.
Aidan suddenly sighed again, "Humans, what are we really searching for in this vast universe?" he muttered to himself, his eyes revealing deep confusion and seeking. In this distant space, it seems that each person is searching for their own answers.
Violet gently opened her eyes and glanced at Aidan, but did not speak. She quietly listened to Aidan's muttering, her expression as calm as still water. The two of them sat there, one immersed in the chaos of the outside world, the other seeking answers in the tranquility of their inner self.
However, as the news was being reported, Aidan appeared somewhat downcast, as if burdened by the weight of life, constantly lamenting. His voice revealed a sense of helplessness towards the current situation and worry about the future, seemingly searching for a way to release his emotions.
At this moment, Violet seemed impatient with Aidan's immersion in negative emotions. Her fingers lightly tapped on the table, making a crisp sound, interrupting Aidan's soliloquy. "Human, it seems like you're not in a good mood," her words were calm yet direct, carrying a hint of concern and puzzlement.
Aidan was interrupted by Violet's words, and only then did he realize that he had been immersed in a low emotional state for a long time. He glanced at Violet, with a slightly embarrassed smile on his face. "Ah, I'm sorry, I just have some things on my mind. I didn't realize I was saying so many negative things." Aidan sighed, trying to adjust his emotions back.
Violet continued to sip her floral tea, her eyes revealing a hint of understanding, but also some helplessness. In her view, Aidan's emotional fluctuations seemed to be a normal part of human emotions, but she still hoped to help him out of this negative mindset.
"Sometimes, facing difficulties and uncertainties is necessary, but it's also important to learn to let go and seek new perspectives," Violet gently said, her voice carrying a calm strength.
Violet carefully observed Aidan, noticing his exhausted appearance, and asked, "It looks like you didn't sleep well last night?" Her voice carried a hint of concern.
Aidan seemed a little annoyed by Violet's question, responding, "Hey! I told you not to misuse your abilities." His tone revealed a hint of dissatisfaction, as if he was accusing Violet's psychic abilities of having some kind of impact on him.
Upon hearing Aidan's complaint, Violet couldn't help but roll her eyes, expressing her frustration and disdain. As a member of the ghost tribe, her eye movements far exceeded those of humans, making this action appear particularly terrifying and intimidating. Her eyeballs could almost freely rotate 360 degrees in their sockets, a peculiar physiological feature common in her community but undoubtedly a source of wonder and terror for humans.
Aidan couldn't help but feel a hint of inexplicable wariness and surprise at Violet's reaction. Her unique abilities and physiological features often made him feel both mysterious and difficult to understand. Despite having spent some time together, Aidan still felt curious and uneasy about these alien characteristics of Violet.
Sensing Aidan's reaction, Violet jokingly said, "Don't worry, I won't use my abilities to interfere with your dreams. Your dreams are still your own." Her voice carried a hint of playfulness, attempting to ease Aidan's unease.
Violet's voice softened, carrying a sense of exotic wisdom as she said to Aidan, "In the legends of our Yu tribe, dreams are always accompanied by a glimpse of reality. Aidan, you must understand, perhaps the dreams you are having now are trying to tell you something."
These words left Aidan in deep thought. He finished his coffee, then leaned back in his chair, gazing at the ceiling, seemingly pondering Violet's words. Her words stirred an inexplicable feeling in his heart, a curiosity and unease about the unknown omens in his dreams.
His thoughts drifted back to the desolate desert in his dream, the mysterious silver pyramid, and the heart-stopping sandstorm. He couldn't help but question whether the images in those dreams were truly prophecies from deep within him, or just reflections of his subconscious fears and desires.
Violet looked quietly at Aidan, her eyes filled with understanding and sympathy. As a member of the psychic Yulou clan, she could sense Aidan's inner struggle and confusion. She knew that understanding the meaning of dreams was a complex and profound process for a human.
Aidan Gradually immersed in his own thoughts, feeling confused about the meaning and guidance in his dreams, but at the same time filled with curiosity and anticipation for the journey ahead.
