Geng Shaofei's body lay cold on the table in front of us in the Morgue. As we stared at him, we couldn't quite grasp the emotions swirling within us. His mother was still unaware of what had happened, and we were at a loss for how to break the news to her. Who could have imagined that just moments ago, he had been sitting there chatting with us, and now he was nothing more than a lifeless corpse? The fragility of life was laid bare before us.
I relayed Geng Shaofei's last words to Juan Juan, and tears streamed down her face. I knew that Juan Juan and Geng Shaofei attended the same university; they were a perfect match. I also knew that during his time at university, Geng Shaofei had never pursued anyone else and had been deeply infatuated with Juan Juan. Despite being young, he already held a professorship and was surrounded by various girls.
Yet Geng Shaofei remained unmoved. Love has no rules or order; it cannot be dictated by mere infatuation. Some people may only desire an apple, and even if you offer them a truckload of oranges, it would only serve to touch their own hearts.
I gently wiped away Juan Juan's tears, unsure of what comforting words to offer. Throughout this case, I had harbored a lingering question: since Geng Shaofei had joined the Heavenly Domain Organization, why did he choose to leave? Emotionally speaking, one often speaks truthfully when facing death; I believed Geng Shaofei's final words were genuine. Logically, he understood the organization's power, and joining it posed no harm to him at that moment. From this perspective, his last words also seemed true.
Perhaps Geng Shaofei wanted to be a good person, but some things are difficult to escape once you become involved.
Before he died, Geng Shaofei pointed to his abdomen and mentioned the word "autopsy." It was likely that something was hidden inside him, which naturally fell upon Juan Juan's shoulders. As she slowly donned her gear in silence, I could hardly fathom the emotions she must have felt while preparing to dissect the body of someone who had loved her.
As an experienced forensic doctor, Juan Juan usually took little time to perform an autopsy. However, this time it took her nearly two hours. Each incision was made with utmost care. When she opened Geng Shaofei's stomach, we discovered a small ball of unknown material inside.
Juan Juan extracted it and cleaned it off; it appeared to be made of some non-toxic alloy. With a gentle twist, the ball split open along a seam. Inside lay a black chip.
The chip resembled a 4G card used in our phones—small and not plastic in texture but rather flexible, seemingly made from memory metal. We were left wondering what it contained. Mary examined the black chip and said to us, "This is a storage card; it must contain something important."
We nodded as Mary inserted the chip into an external device before connecting it to the computer while Juan Juan began suturing Geng Shaofei's body.
Indeed, this chip was a storage card but required a password for access. We first tried Geng Shaofei's organizational password but received an error message instead. A line of text appeared beside it: "Three incorrect attempts will result in automatic data destruction." It seemed this card had limited password attempts left; we only had two chances remaining.
After attempting Geng Shaofei's birthday as the password, we were met with another error message. At this point, we became cautious; only one chance remained. If we entered it incorrectly, we might lose access to this data forever. Suddenly, a countdown timer appeared—only thirty seconds remained before traces would be erased.
It appeared that Geng Shaofei had implemented double security measures. The organization's exclusion of Zhao Mingkun from investigating this matter likely revolved around this very item. Time ticked away second by second as we faced the password input box with just six digits to guess; we hesitated.
What could this password be? Perhaps it was his mother's birthday or some significant date in his life? As time slipped away rapidly, our anxiety grew palpable. In those final moments, all Geng Shaofei did was point at his abdomen without revealing the password.
At that moment, a possibility suddenly flashed through my mind. Looking at the input box with only a few seconds left, I disregarded everything else and directly entered Juan Juan's birthday. Immediately, a symbol appeared on the screen. In the center of this symbol was a sword, entwined with a black mamba snake. Above it were two characters written in seal script: Heavenly Domain. It seemed that this was the emblem of the Heavenly Domain Organization.
Then, several options written in English appeared above. I looked over them; they were mostly information regarding the Heavenly Domain Organization. I was overjoyed and hurriedly asked Mary to copy the information first and send it to the department, then continued to review the data to avoid any unexpected situations.
Mary nodded and successfully copied the information.
After thoroughly examining everything here, I finally gained an understanding of the Heavenly Domain Organization. It turned out that this organization was divided into four main departments. One was called the Economic Department, another was the Research Department, followed by the Execution Department, and finally, the Security Department. Each of these departments had clear divisions of labor, and people within each department did not know each other; they identified one another solely by their badges and code phrases.
Each member's badge was custom-made, but aside from ordinary security personnel in the Security Department, all other members had badges. The first string of numbers indicated the date of joining the organization, the second number was the organizational ID, and the third number represented their rank within the organization.
For example, Geng Shaofei joined on March 24, 2014, with an ID of 3528, holding a second-level rank within the organization.
The code phrases were used between departments to confirm each other's identities. For instance, if two members from different departments met, one might ask: "Did the hen lay eggs today?" (Which department are you from?). If the other person was indeed a member of the organization, they would immediately respond: "The wind is strong and pulls far" (I am from the Economic Department).
This way, both parties could confirm their identities and engage in normal communication.
Members of the Economic Department were primarily responsible for managing the organization's expenses and profits. For instance, many members secretly invested in various enterprises under their own names, with profits going to the organization. Additionally, this department would collaborate with domestic and international gangs to assist them in tasks that were difficult for them to handle locally in order to generate profit.
In summary, this department was responsible for earning money for the organization, paying salaries to its members, and maintaining its operations. Geng Shaofei did not have much knowledge about this department because these individuals rarely left their posts. He only knew that someone nicknamed "Young Master" was in charge of this department but had no further information about him.
As for the Execution Department, it was responsible for carrying out planned missions within the organization. For example, Zhao Mingkun was the head of this Execution Department, holding a first-level rank which was higher than that of Geng Shaofei. According to Geng Shaofei's information, every member in this department had undergone military training and possessed exceptional skills.
I could deeply relate to this. For instance, during the Seven Deadly Sins case, those who kidnapped Dezi were precisely members of Zhao Mingkun’s Execution Department. Their methods were military techniques; they forced a mail truck to overturn using poison tactics and seized documents related to mind control amidst chaos. In Italy, these individuals negotiated with the Mafia.
From my interactions with Zhao Mingkun, I could tell her status was significant; however, I never expected that someone in her twenties would lead such an important department.
The following information about the Security Department is rather unremarkable. Aside from a few executives, many of the security personnel at the bottom level are unaware that they have joined an evil organization; they believe it is just a regular job. Their responsibilities mainly involve overseeing the organization's properties and projects in various locations, essentially making them laborers.
For instance, the security guards at the Spring Return Nursing Home fit this description. They do not dedicate themselves to the organization and remain oblivious to its core secrets. Geng Shaofei has no understanding of the Security Department and does not even know who the head or director is.
Geng Shaofei is part of the Research Department. He is in charge of a branch that specializes in human experimentation. During his year in this department, he has been responsible for various cutting-edge experiments in this world, most of which involve using subjects for experiments centered around the theme of "rebirth."
Geng Shaofei holds a secondary position, with a leader above him named MAX, who is German. This individual is a renowned medical professor known worldwide for his work in human modification and blood transfusion projects. However, due to the inhumane nature of such experiments being banned globally, MAX joined the Heavenly Domain Organization to pursue his fervent medical dreams.
Below are several photos of Geng Shaofei with MAX, along with some information about him. Professor MAX was once a top professor at Heidelberg Medical School but later resigned to conduct independent research. He had previously been accused by the courts of crimes against humanity but was released due to insufficient evidence.
Since then, Professor MAX has lived incognito, distancing himself from Germany and residing in various war-torn countries. He relied on his financial resources acquired during his earlier life to conduct research involving live subjects. However, those places were ultimately unsafe, posing constant risks to his life. Therefore, when invited by the organization, Professor MAX immediately accepted and joined the Heavenly Domain Organization.
According to Geng Shaofei's knowledge, besides his medical division, there are even cult and poison departments under this Research Department, showcasing a wide variety of branches.
The story continues with a scene where the young master is coerced by the eldest daughter of a cultivation family into becoming her husband. In the stillness of night, as they find themselves alone together, a busty fairy suddenly reaches out to touch the young man's back...
