Chen Jing told his two roommates a brief version of the story between him and Zheng Yu, and only then did the two believe that Chen Jing was not joking with them.
Both of them found it hard to believe. Clearly, at the end of last semester, Chen Jing and Zheng Yu were still arch-rivals, so how did they start dating after just one summer vacation?
And, wasn't Zheng Yu in a coma for just one summer and woke up not long ago?
Fortunately, both roommates didn't care about these trivial details, and Chen Jing managed to bluff her way through it.
"Maybe there was some misunderstanding before. I can be impulsive at times, and I apologize if I have offended you. I hope both of you can forgive me for the sake of Chen Jing. Let's just consider this a learning experience together," Zheng Yu suddenly stood up with a teacup and said.
The two of them were a bit bewildered by Zheng Yu's sudden bossy attitude, and they had never seen such a scene before. They quickly waved their hands and said, "We are all classmates, there's no need for this."
The conflict between them and Zheng Yu is all because of Chen Jing. Now Chen Jing is someone else's boyfriend, and besides, Zheng Yu has already apologized and there's no need to make things difficult for him.
Young people are like this, emotions come and go quickly. After a few beers, it's obvious that Zhou Sui already considers Zheng Yu as his own, hooking his neck and saying, "Brother, let me tell you, my relationship with Chen Jing is more than just a classmate relationship."
Chen Jing paused in the act of peeling the crab, afraid that this big brother might say something shocking and outrageous again.
"Is that so?" Zheng Yu raised an eyebrow and looked meaningfully at Chen Jing.
"Don't listen to him, he's had too much to drink," Lin Fangchi also knew that his roommate had a loose tongue and was trying to pull people back.
"Don't touch me," Zhou Sui pushed away Lin Fangchi, leaned in to whisper something to Zheng Yu, who widened her eyes in response, "Is what you're saying true?"
"Of course it's true." Zhou Sui swayed back and sat down.
Chen Jing was aroused by the mysterious appearance of the two, and he pulled Zheng Yu's finger, "What did he say to you?"
Zheng Yu Take away the messy crab meat he peeled, and put the peeled ones in front of him. "He said his relationship with you is not ordinary."
Chen Jing Protesting silently, he's wronged me. We just have a purely roommate relationship.
Zheng Yu is still not well and can't drink alcohol. He also doesn't allow Chen Jing to drink, so in the end, the only one who gets drunk is Zhou Sui.
The responsibility of taking Zhou Sui back naturally falls on Lin Fangchi. Chen Jing also wants to go back with them, but Zheng Yu drags her back by the collar.
Lin Fangchi joked with a smile, "Alright, you go on your date and have fun. It's Saturday tomorrow, so enjoy yourself." After saying that, she winked ambiguously at Chen Jing and warned Zheng Yu, "You're not allowed to bully him."
"I won't," Zheng Yu smiled and nodded.
When the two of them had walked a fair distance away, Chen Jing couldn't help but ask curiously, "What did he say to you in the end?"
"Curious, huh?" Zheng Yu took Chen Jing's hand and walked in the opposite direction. "Then you let me stay at your place today."
"No, it's not possible," The streetlight cast their shadows long, creating the illusion that they had been walking side by side for a long time.
"I've lived here before, why can't I now?"
"That's different."
"How is it different?"
"Before you were my enemy, now you're my boyfriend."
"Isn't being an enemy better than being a boyfriend?"
"Oh no."
"If you let me kiss you, then I'll tell you."
