The pitch-black Land Behemoth, after a sound of tires grinding against the road, came to a halt right in front of Xiao Yefeng. The massive front of the vehicle loomed over him, with the spikes on the bumper less than an inch away from his body. As the roar of the engine ceased, the door on the driver's side swung open, and a towering man nearly two meters tall stepped out. 0

The man had yellow skin, clearly indicating he was Asian. However, his hair was braided into numerous strands, adorned with gemstones in yellow, green, and red hues. The yellow beeswax, green peridot, and red agate gave him a somewhat retro non-mainstream vibe. Yet, the black gold necklace around his neck, featuring a flying eagle pendant, confirmed his identity. 0

Upon seeing the man, Xiao Yefeng sidestepped from the passenger side of the Land Behemoth and turned to leave. However, as soon as the man noticed Xiao Yefeng attempting to walk away, his eagle-like eyes narrowed. He pressed down heavily on the hood of the Land Behemoth with both hands, causing the entire vehicle to sink nearly an inch. Then, using that force, he flipped himself over to the other side of the car. 0

Despite this display of strength, Xiao Yefeng continued to walk away. The man quickly grabbed Xiao Yefeng's backpack. In response, Xiao Yefeng merely shifted slightly before countering with a swift grab. His left hand seized the man's arm, and under the sunlight, the Silver Needle glinted as it pierced into the man's forearm. 0

With one swift motion, Xiao Yefeng retracted the Silver Needle. Yet even then, the man's grip on Xiao Yefeng's backpack remained unyielding. Seeing that the man was determined not to let go despite gritting his teeth in pain, Xiao Yefeng sighed deeply. He then flicked his left hand, sending out another Silver Needle embedded with a silver bell about the size of a soybean. It struck the man's abdomen and was immediately pulled back by a fine thread into Xiao Yefeng's hand. 0

The pain in the man's face lessened somewhat after being struck in the abdomen; however, he still clung tightly to the backpack. The two stood there silently for what felt like an eternity. 0

"Brother Ye, why do you have to do this?" The man looked at Xiao Yefeng with confusion and disbelief in his eyes. 0

"I'm tired; I don't want to continue anymore!" After carefully wiping down the Silver Needle and placing it back into his pouch, Xiao Yefeng replied. 0

"Brother Ye! You—" The man stared at this once-glorious figure for a long time without finishing his sentence. 0

A black Land Behemoth roared from afar and sped past on the road. The strong wind it generated bent nearby flowers and grass as it rushed by. Meanwhile, inside the Wuling Cruiser, the man with braided hair drove swiftly toward the city's airport. 0

As he drove, he glanced at Xiao Yefeng sitting in the passenger seat and finally couldn't hold back any longer. "Brother Ye! You—" 0

"Zhebie! Enough of that; your liver is problematic. Have you been injured these past two years?" Xiao Yefeng changed the subject. 0

"Screech" 0

Xiao Yefeng's words caused Zhebie's grip on the steering wheel to tremble violently. Fortunately, he reacted quickly; despite suddenly decelerating the massive vehicle, it soon resumed its steady pace. Meanwhile, Xiao Yefeng furrowed his brows and continued: "Zhebie, are you hiding something from me?" 0

“Brother Ye, the name of the Crazy Needle is indeed not a lie. After two years in this line of work, your skills have not diminished; in fact, I feel you have grown stronger!” Zhebie exclaimed, tossing his braided hair back as he adjusted the steering wheel. 0

“Stop with the nonsense. Your liver is damaged, and it’s not because of an injury; it’s due to that incompetent hand that performed your surgery!” At this point, Xiao Yefeng's brows furrowed intensely, his temper barely contained as he suppressed Zhebie's urge to breathe heavily. 0

“Was it the Snow Fox or the Demon Fox? How could there be such severe aftereffects?” As he spoke, Xiao Yefeng could no longer hold back his anger. Zhebie was his brother who had fought alongside him through thick and thin. Just from their brief contact, Xiao Yefeng immediately sensed the damage to Zhebie's liver; it was severely atrophied, clearly suffering from intense harm. The only explanation for such consequences was that the healer had made a mistake during treatment. 0

“Brother Ye, don’t get angry. You know me well! I’ve been injured countless times over the years!” Zhebie replied with a smile. 0

“What happened?” Xiao Yefeng asked. 0

“Brother Ye, don’t ask. I can’t tell you; that’s just how it is. But one thing I can say is that I’m not injured,” Zhebie said, shaking his head. 0

Seeing Zhebie’s familiar hairstyle swaying again, Xiao Yefeng suddenly thought that perhaps Zhebie was just like him! 0

With this thought, Xiao Yefeng let out a long sigh and then said, “Zhebie, I just stabilized your liver damage with the Open Yang Needle, but time is running out. Come with me; I promise to resolve your liver issues within seven days!” 0

Zhebie shook his head and replied, “Brother Ye, have you forgotten the rules? Coming here to pick you up has already deviated from my route; I came to Huaxia on a mission!” 0

Mentioning rules and missions plunged Xiao Yefeng and Zhebie into a long silence as memories of the past flooded their minds. It felt like a distant journey that ended in this silence. 0

With a roar, a massive beast came to a stop in the airport parking area. In the passenger seat, Xiao Yefeng grabbed his backpack, pushed open the car door, and stepped out of the Cruiser. At that moment, Zhebie had already exited the vehicle as well. Watching Xiao Yefeng's back, Zhebie remained silent. 0

Xiao Yefeng turned around with his hiking backpack slung over his shoulder and said to Zhebie, “Zhebie, after this mission, consider withdrawing. I believe your points are sufficient now. I can’t trust you three to continue on missions; also, please convey my apologies.” 0

With that, Xiao Yefeng walked into the Terminal, leaving behind Zhebie and the Land Behemoth. But was it really just Zhebie? 0

Not far away by a taxi stood two figures approaching—one black and one white. Clearly one was an African American and the other a Caucasian man and woman who gave off a beauty-and-the-beast vibe. The Black Man stood nearly two meters tall with a muscular build; each step he took resonated with power while beside him stood the slender White Woman. 0

The slender figure stood in stark contrast to the Black Man beside her. The woman was about five feet nine inches tall, and with nearly four-inch high heels, her already long legs appeared even more elongated. Her fair skin, youthful beauty, and a porcelain doll-like face, complemented by golden hair cascading like a waterfall, made her look like a living Barbie doll. 0

The Black Man and the White Woman stood together with Zhebie, gazing at the now-empty entrance of the Terminal. After a long moment, the White Woman was the first to slip into the car, followed by Zhebie and the Black Man as they boarded the cruiser. Moments later, the roar of the engine filled the air as the Land Behemoth carried three individuals of different skin tones away from the Terminal. 0

However, no one could see atop the Terminal's roof. Behind a massive stone pillar, Xiao Yefeng watched the departing Land Behemoth. He adjusted his glasses and sighed before turning to descend from the rooftop. 0

Meanwhile, aboard the Land Behemoth, an eerie silence enveloped the three passengers until Zhebie finally broke it. "Sister, you’re Brother Ye’s right?" 0

"Perhaps, but we are not like him! We have no way back," replied the White Woman, her voice flowing smoothly in perfect Chinese. 0

At that moment, her gaze drifted to the scenery outside. The rapidly passing shadows of trees reminded her of choices made in their lives; while they could look back at what they had passed through, they knew that returning would reveal a landscape far less beautiful than before. 0

"Sister," said the Black Man, who had remained silent until now, speaking in English. 0

The White Woman turned in her seat, casting an angry glare at him. But as her anger faded, she replied, "Chinese it is. Even if our captain and he are not here, we cannot break our agreement!" 0

"Sorry, Sister. I’m just concerned this mission might have issues; after all, we are in Huaxia. Shouldn’t we confirm the timing with headquarters before taking action?" The Black Man looked at her with a hint of unease creeping into his heart. 0

"Don’t worry; he’s just an ordinary person. We won’t need heavy weapons. As long as we take what doesn’t belong to this ordinary person, our mission will be complete," she said slowly as she put on her sunglasses. 0
