As the familiar crossbow bolt flew toward him, Vulture had no time to think. He immediately discarded his powerful crossbow. The bolt struck the weapon, sending sparks flying, and at that moment, Xiao Yefeng finally came face to face with Vulture. 0

"Are you the one sent to kill me?" Xiao Yefeng asked, sizing up the man before him. A wave of familiarity washed over him. 0

Xiao Yefeng observed that the man stood just over one meter seventy tall. He wasn't particularly muscular, but his movements revealed that he had trained and possessed considerable combat experience. The slightly bulging temples indicated that he had practiced some form of martial arts. 0

What struck Xiao Yefeng as most familiar was the man's attire: an old-style Vietnamese jungle combat uniform, with earth-gray pants and a camouflage-patterned shirt. Instead of carrying firearms, a neat row of eight Alloy Arrows rested in the strap on his back. Beneath a tank cloth cap, a pair of piercing eyes brimmed with disbelief, yet a long scar running down his cheek drastically altered his appearance. 0

The thick eyebrows and large eyes suggested a kind-hearted demeanor, but the diagonal scar gave this seemingly honest man an intimidating aura. Coupled with the deep green gauze sweatband around his neck, a thought crossed Xiao Yefeng's mind. 0

"You are not an ordinary person; your skills are definitely not something learned from street thugs. You've been on the battlefield!" Vulture stated confidently as he looked at the young man before him. 0

At that moment, Vulture felt troubled. From how Xiao Yefeng had reflected sunlight off the Alloy Arrow earlier, it was clear that he had extensive combat experience. Moreover, the power behind the Alloy Arrow he had thrown with just his hand rivaled that of a typical crossbow bolt, demonstrating Xiao Yefeng's strength and precision. 0

Vulture hadn't anticipated how formidable Xiao Yefeng would be. A single encounter had shown that his two Alloy Arrows had failed to injure him. It became evident to Vulture that a fight was inevitable. As expected, Xiao Yefeng successfully evaded his lethal attack and approached him directly. 0

However, having survived on the battlefield, Vulture was confident in his fighting abilities, which made him unafraid of Xiao Yefeng. Additionally, Vulture carried a machete with him, which was why he felt no fear toward the steel rod in Xiao Yefeng's hands. 0

"You are not Huaxia People; what connection do you have with the Vietnamese?" Xiao Yefeng asked assertively as he saw Vulture lift his shirt to reveal the signature machete. At this point, Xiao Yefeng no longer needed an answer from Vulture; that machete was undoubtedly a weapon exclusive to the Vietnamese. 0

"Saint Buddha protects me; I am victorious in every battle and will slay all wicked disciples!" 0

Vulture kissed the Demonic Skull Totem pinned to his chest lightly, then clasped his hands together. After murmuring a few words, his eyes suddenly gleamed with ferocity as he swiftly drew his machete and aimed it at Xiao Yefeng's neck. 0

At that moment, Xiao Yefeng raised an eyebrow upon hearing Vulture's words. He positioned the steel rod horizontally in his hands, gripping it with one hand forward and the other backward at the third position along the rod. With a swift motion, he swung it back, the tip of the rod aimed directly at Vulture. Faced with Vulture's aggressive advance, Xiao Yefeng remained unfazed. After all, with a nearly two-meter-long steel rod in hand, he held a significant advantage in reach. 0

However, Xiao Yefeng chose not to adopt a passive stance. His training had never included defense; it was all about relentless offense. In a direct confrontation, the long rod would undoubtedly overpower the machete. Moreover, facing this purebred Vietnamese, who was also the most vicious disciple of the Blood Water Saint, Xiao Yefeng certainly wouldn't hold back. 0

As Vulture charged two steps into the range of the steel rod's attack, Xiao Yefeng suddenly flipped the rod in his hands. The long rod circled around his waist, enveloping him in its protective arc while sweeping toward Vulture's lower back with tremendous force. This technique was known as "Surrounding Body to Break Spine." The momentum from Xiao Yefeng's arms propelled the rod to protect himself while simultaneously targeting his enemy's vulnerable spot. If unblocked, this strike could easily sever Vulture's spine. 0

Vulture, wielding his machete with both hands in a powerful downward strike, sensed he was at a disadvantage. He quickly adjusted his grip to hold the machete with one hand while using his free left hand to brace against the blade's side, attempting to withstand Xiao Yefeng's blow. 0

"Clang!" 0

The steel rod crashed down onto the machete with a resounding impact. The disparity in weaponry left Vulture at a disadvantage first; the violent shock nearly numbed his hand that held the machete. Meanwhile, Xiao Yefeng utilized techniques he had learned two years prior to mitigate the recoil from his strike. In that instant of impact, he released the steel rod, which trembled in mid-air before he swiftly grasped it again and transformed his sweeping motion into an upward thrust aimed at Vulture's head. 0

Ignoring the numbness in his arms, Vulture executed a forward roll to evade Xiao Yefeng's lethal strike. The force of Xiao Yefeng's blow struck down onto the rooftop of the abandoned factory instead, leaving a deep imprint on the concrete surface. 0

Seeing Vulture escape, Xiao Yefeng lifted his rod once more and charged toward him, declaring, "Vietnamese! Today I will make you regret coming to Huaxia!" 0

"Boatman! Don't think you have the upper hand now; the holy Blood Water Saint's Disciple will surely shine in Huaxia! By then, you won't even be worthy of washing my underwear!" Vulture glared at Xiao Yefeng and retaliated with an aggressive swing of his Vietnamese-style machete, clearly enraged by Xiao Yefeng's taunts. 0

Xiao Yefeng felt a surge of excitement at Vulture's reaction; he wasn't afraid of anger—he welcomed it. It was time to test their mettle. With his long rod thrusting directly at Vulture like a spear and taking advantage of its hollow structure, if he landed this hit, it wouldn't just leave a wound. 0

On the other side, Vulture was equally incensed by Xiao Yefeng’s provocation. Fueled by their mutual fury, he recklessly lunged forward with his knife without any regard for defense. 0

Typically, such reckless fighters would end up mutually assured destruction; however, that was not how things unfolded this time. Ultimately, it was Vulture who faltered first. Drawing out a clever hook from his belt just as Xiao Yefeng’s steel rod was about to pierce him, he managed to deflect it using the hook. This maneuver indeed granted him an advantage in close combat against Xiao Yefeng’s rod; after all, when it came to blades versus rods at close range, every inch mattered significantly. 0

Blade closed in, and Vulture's eyes were filled with surprise. However, this surprise lasted only a brief moment. Who would have thought that as Blade approached, Xiao Yefeng would suddenly falter and evade the strike? At that moment, Vulture felt a sharp pain in his back, a piercing sensation that shot straight to his abdomen. Meanwhile, the fallen Xiao Yefeng swept out with his staff, striking Vulture's spine. Although the force was somewhat diminished, the balance of victory had already begun to tilt. 0

"Cough, cough!" With a violent fit of coughing, Vulture spat out a mouthful of blood. At this point, only seven Alloy Arrows remained in the quiver on his back, and one of them was lodged in his lower back. 0

Seeing his injuries, Vulture clearly abandoned the plan to kill Xiao Yefeng. His eyes darted around, searching for an escape route. However, Xiao Yefeng was no novice; he had already sealed off all avenues of retreat. To escape, Vulture would have to get past Xiao Yefeng first. 0

What had just happened? It turned out that Xiao Yefeng's seemingly desperate thrust was merely a feint. The real attack occurred when Vulture was distracted; Xiao Yefeng quickly snatched one of Vulture's Alloy Arrows and, as he evaded the knife strike with a momentary lapse of strength, he thrust the arrow into Vulture's lower back and then swung his staff down onto Vulture's back. 0

"You can't defeat me, Vietnamese! Tell me where your master is, and I'll let you go!" Xiao Yefeng declared as he leveled his steel rod and stepped closer to Vulture. 0

"No! You have no idea how terrifying it is to be an enemy of Young Master. You will die a terrible death," Vulture replied while pressing against his waist in a futile attempt to stem the bleeding. The Alloy Piercing Arrow was designed with four blood channels and was made entirely of steel; severing the arrow shaft was impossible. Moreover, its barbed tip made it suicidal to attempt to pull it out. 0

At that moment, a loud crash echoed from the entrance of the abandoned factory as a heavy motorcycle smashed through the door. Xiao Yefeng could hardly believe how resilient this Vietnamese was. Despite being pierced by an Alloy Arrow and facing the risk of more severe injuries from jumping off a building, the Vietnamese suddenly flipped over and leaped off the second-floor rooftop. Injured and still impaled by an Alloy Arrow, he truly jumped down. 0
