Upon seeing the card emblazoned with the Huaxia Police Badge, Pan Yujie opened it to find the title: Leader of the Special Investigation Team: Xiao Yefeng.

Your mother, who is involved in illegal activities, certainly doesn’t think so. Working in a nightclub isn’t considered illegal? I advise you to confess honestly! If you clarify everything, we might not take you away and allow you to continue living as an ordinary person.”
With a mix of intimidation and psychological pressure, along with Xiao Yefeng's impressive acting skills, he resembled a real vice squad officer who had grasped all the clues and information.

A year and a half ago, at a nightclub during a raid involving seven men and nine women skating around, one woman managed to evade capture by leaving her room. That night, another woman died from an overdose while trying to protect her friend from being caught. I believe this incident should ring a bell for you!”
“You... you...” Pan Yujie looked at Xiao Yefeng as if she had seen a ghost. Her trembling body combined with her agitation made it impossible for her to speak normally.
Under Xiao Yefeng's intense pressure, Pan Yujie's mental defenses crumbled completely. She voluntarily confessed everything; however, Xiao Yefeng was more interested in using this incident to provoke her into revealing information about Zhou Ming.

Hearing that she wouldn’t have to spend time in detention made Pan Yujie's tear-filled eyes sparkle enticingly. However, after giving her a disapproving look, Xiao Yefeng asked, “What is your relationship with Zhou Ming?”
At that moment, Pan Yujie’s eyes darted around nervously. Xiao Yefeng could tell that Pan Yujie was about to fabricate a story again. He slammed his hand on the table and fixed a stern gaze on her, saying, “Confess and you’ll be treated leniently; resist and you’ll face severe consequences! Within moments, Pan Yujie recounted the entire sequence of events. A year ago, she had met Li Shaowen while working in Xiguan. That moment was vividly etched in her memory, as it was when Xiao Yefeng had seen her. Despite the swift efforts of the police and doctors to save her, it was ultimately futile. Since Pan Yujie had arrived with the deceased woman, no one knew her identity after the tragedy struck. Thus, she managed to escape unscathed. After leaving the nightclub, Pan Yujie also collapsed by the roadside due to having consumed too much alcohol and ended up meeting Li Shaowen.
To distance herself from the troubles caused by the nightclub raid and to avoid being exposed by others, Pan Yujie quickly convinced herself to marry Li Shaowen—a man who was short, average-looking, and quite poor. At their wedding, it was celebrated as a good match; everyone praised Li Shaowen for finding such a beautiful wife who asked for nothing in return.
However, as always happens, Pan Yujie grew accustomed to a life filled with luxury and excess. The rural lifestyle could never satisfy her desires—even if she didn’t have to worry about anything or do any work! With Li Shaowen often away working, Pan Yujie naturally turned her attention to Zhou Ming, a wealthy single man in the village.
While it might take time for a man to seduce a married woman, for a desperate and materialistic woman like Pan Yujie, it could take just a few meals or even just a glance! Soon enough, Zhou Ming fell under her spell. Even though he was also involved in nightlife as a rogue himself, he was no match for the experienced Pan Yujie. After just a few encounters, Zhou Ming was already infatuated with her body.
Initially unaware of what was happening, Li Shaowen eventually returned home one day out of curiosity and concern over rumors circulating about Zhou Ming. He caught them red-handed at Zhou Ming’s house! Faced with the two naked individuals, Li Shaowen showed no anger; instead, he pulled out his phone and snapped a series of photos. From then on, he ceased interfering in their affairs and even promised to clear their names! With those compromising photos in hand, Zhou Ming had no choice but to pay Li Shaowen periodically. However, since money was not an issue for Zhou Ming—who was deeply enamored with Pan Yujie’s body—he didn’t mind.
In his words, that amount wasn’t even enough for him to support a student outside! The situation escalated when Li Shaowen demanded one million from Zhou Ming due to gambling debts—settling everything once and for all. Zhou Ming indeed had some money; he could afford that sum but had tied it all up in projects and machinery—leaving him without liquid funds. During their last meeting after some intimate moments together, Zhou Ming held Pan Yujie close and warned that if he wanted to take advantage of her again, there would be consequences.
Pan Yujie was stunned but didn’t take it seriously afterward; after all, those five individuals had left the village laughing together. Little did she expect that when Zhou Zhiguo returned home with strange ailments and news about the other four went silent like stones sinking into water. Although Pan Yujie suspected something unusual had occurred, she dared not come forward until she finally revealed everything to Xiao Yefeng.
Upon learning all this, Xiao Yefeng nodded and finally said, "One last question. Do you know where the employer, Boss Zhang, and Night Hall are located? Has Zhou Ming mentioned anything to you?" Xiao Yefeng didn't hold much hope for an answer; clearly, the chances of her knowing were slim.
However, unexpectedly, Pan Yujie nodded and replied, "I've heard of both places. Once when Zhou Ming came back, I was with him when he suddenly received a call. "I don't know that," Pan Yujie replied. "But Zhou Ming's business is all in the southern area. I think it should be around here! It can't be more than within the city!"
