Chapter 71 Human United Federation
At that moment, Xiao Yefeng picked up a stone weighing about twenty to thirty pounds. "But why would they do that?" Davis asked, puzzled.
Xiao Yefeng shook his head; he didn't know why either. From the rocket launchers earlier, he could tell this was a joint operation involving multiple countries. The dozen or so rocket launchers included models from America, Eagle Nation, and several other countries. The tire tracks originated from here, but through Xiao Yefeng's Observer's Eye, he noticed there were seven directions of retreat. Even if they pursued, they wouldn't be able to catch them all.
Moreover, the most crucial detail was that Xiao Yefeng spotted a missile launcher specifically designed for the Chinese Military. At least in terms of interfering with those trying to stop Perfect World, the Human United Federation has aided them, and there have been no reports of attacks on Perfect World members by this federation.
The only good news at this moment is that the Liu Family and other similar families in Huaxia have been protected. Yet Xiao Yefeng felt an unsettling sense of foreboding. Suddenly, while comparing notes on the map, Mie sensed an impending deathly aura approaching. Duo felt his hair stand on end as well when suddenly a barrage of rockets flew out from their right side. They exchanged glances and simultaneously unleashed their powers against each other. Both spat out blood from their mouths as they collided with tremendous force and were propelled backward like rockets.
With a thunderous roar, the rockets engulfed their original position in an explosion that created a massive mushroom cloud. Struggling to their feet amidst the chaos, Duo and Mie gazed at the rising cloud while those who had attacked them fled in panic.
As they reported this incident to their Master at Perfect World, he too was perplexed. The Earth had descended into chaos; Perfect World needed to fulfill its mission regarding the God of Sorcery while Xiao Yefeng and his companions aimed to disrupt it. What could possibly explain this sudden organization attacking both sides?
At that moment, in a hotel in Europe, a woman was engulfed in two swirling orbs of red and blue light. She was the epitome of a Western woman, and just as the lights merged into her body, a group of over ten people burst into the room. Without a word, they opened fire on the woman lying on the bed.
The woman's eyes widened, revealing two sharp fangs as she flashed with cold light, causing the group to collapse one by one. Confused, she glanced at them and said, "Strange! Why are Abel's people just ordinary humans? I should hurry to find Brother Mei and my sister!"
Finally, the long-term rented hotel room had some signs of life, but it was fleeting, leaving behind a scene of carnage.
