When Secretary Alice brought the security personnel upstairs, she was greeted by a swarm of reporters and onlookers gathered outside her boss's suite. Taking a deep breath, she realized that this situation had escalated significantly.
She only knew that her boss, Jin Chengyan, had booked this room on short notice to meet with someone very important. Despite her close involvement in both his professional and personal affairs—almost like a personal caretaker—Jin Chengyan still kept certain details from her.
It was clear how significant this meeting was for him.
But why were there so many reporters now?
As Alice entered the suite, she noticed not only Jin Chengyan but also a girl named Jono, the Bankrupt Heiress. What was she doing here?
However, there was no time to ponder that; her job was to escort the reporters out and ensure that nothing they captured would see the light of day.
Inside the suite, Jin Chengyan sat on the sofa while three others stood: Jono, Ni Yue, and Shen Fengye.
After learning about the situation, Jin Chengyan actually had no intention of getting involved. Yet, thinking about the troubles he would face because of this incident made him feel frustrated.
“Miss Ni, do you think Prosperity Hotel is a place for you to act recklessly?” Jin Chengyan glared at the woman named Ni Yue.
If he hadn't needed Room 3988 today and forced the front desk to cancel a reservation for another guest, tomorrow's headlines might have been about the Qiao Family's heiress causing a scene in his Noble Wind Hotel.
He could ignore trivial matters, but anything related to his hotel was something he could not overlook!
Ni Yue's face turned pale. Who would have thought that amidst all the calculations, she hadn't anticipated that President Juefeng would whimsically choose this room?
"I..." Ni Yue hesitated to speak, glancing at Shen Fengye beside her.
Jono, who had been standing aside, finally grasped the entire situation.
She had inadvertently learned that the rumors about Ni Yue and Shen Fengye planning to misbehave in the hotel were false. Ni Yue's ultimate goal was merely to capture a photo of her with some unknown man arranged for a scandal, further tarnishing her reputation as the Bankrupt Heiress.

Jono took a deep breath and, without thinking, stepped forward and slapped Ni Yue across her delicate face.
Just as Jono prepared to deliver a second slap, Shen Fengye seized her wrist.
"Jono, that's enough!"
Shen Fengye shouted at her! How dare this man who betrayed him raise his voice?
Jono shook off Shen Fengye's grip. "Shen Fengye, shut up! Do you believe I would hit you too? Using such despicable tactics against me—can't you show some dignity? Are you pleased watching your ex-girlfriend being bullied by others? If you can't have it, you want to destroy it? I must have been blind to ever be with you!"
The greatest disappointment one can feel towards a man is regretting the decision to be with him in the first place. If time could turn back, she would never choose to be with Shen Fengye, nor would she be so devoted!
"Jono, stop throwing a tantrum. Who I choose to be with is my freedom. With you acting like this, no man would dare want me!" Shen Fengye retorted defiantly.
Jono could no longer bear to look at Shen Fengye; she felt nothing but disgust as she glared at Ni Yue.
This good friend and sister, who had played with her since childhood, she couldn't understand why Ni Yue would still step on her when her family had gone bankrupt. "Ni Yue, a man like Shen Fengye, who can betray me to be with you, can just as easily betray you to be with someone else!"
Ni Yue, who had just been slapped, covered her cheek. "Jono, I've never been inferior to you. There's no reason for me to live in your shadow. I'm actually glad that you've completely disappeared from this circle; you will never have the ability to come back!"
Jono looked at Ni Yue in disbelief. Was everything really just because of this ridiculous reason?
"Ahem..." Just as Jono was about to speak, someone who had been overlooked in the suite cleared their throat twice to announce their presence.
The three turned around and suddenly remembered that this was Jin Chengyan's territory.
