Jin Chengyan leaned on the kitchen counter with one hand while holding a spatula in the other, stirring the contents of the pan. "Looks good," he said.
Jono stood there, feeling completely stiff, unsure of what it meant for Jin Chengyan to suddenly be so close. Such intimate actions were typically reserved for couples in love or newlyweds—why was Jin Chengyan acting this way?
Who said not to get emotional?
But was he crossing a line now?
"Jin... Jin Chengyan..." Jono found it difficult to even say his name.
"Do you want to try some?" He scooped a shrimp onto the spatula and brought it to her lips.
Jono felt flustered!
She had been in relationships before, watched romantic dramas, and read love stories! So she understood clearly that Jin Chengyan was flirting with her!

"Aren't you going to eat?" Seeing that Jono remained still for a moment, Jin Chengyan naturally pulled the spatula back and stretched his neck to eat the shrimp himself.
She could clearly hear him chewing right next to her ear, and she felt her heart racing uncontrollably!
"Yes, it's delicious." After saying this, he placed the spatula back into the pot. After a while, he finally released his grip on the counter, allowing Jono to be free!
Once liberated, Jono realized that one of her hands was tightly gripping the pot handle, a sign of her nervousness from being so close to Jin Chengyan.
She had no idea what Jin Chengyan was planning to do. Letting go of the pot handle, Jono turned around, feeling she should properly explain to him about the Contract. He didn't need to act like a husband; for instance, just now, it had crossed a line...
However, upon turning around, she saw Jin Chengyan's calm demeanor, as if the intimacy they had just shared had never happened.
