Inside the Prosperity Hotel, two burly men dragged a frail woman into a room. Such blatant abduction clearly indicated that they had powerful backing.
"Don't touch me! If you want money, I'll give it to you—no matter how much!" the woman pleaded in panic, unsure of what these muscular men intended to do.
However, the two fierce-looking men remained unfazed, merely exchanging glances as if deciding who would make the first move.

"You’re the one who hired someone to bully Shengyu and then framed Jono for it, right?" He wasn’t merely stating this; his tone was questioning, as if he expected an explanation from Ni Yue.
Ni Yue truly wanted to explain, but she couldn’t find her voice. The hand that had been lifting her chin now tightened around her throat!
The force was immense, several times stronger than the last time he had choked Jono, and he felt no affection for Ni Yue at all.
A-Shan watched the young master of their family, really wanting to remind him not to take a life.
