Rao Jie felt a warm smile spread across her heart. In truth, Wu Xin's words carried a hint of guilt; after all, she had hurried back upon hearing from Ye Ming that her brother might be facing a GAMEOVER situation. She hadn't expected to walk into such chaos right away, but it conveniently provided her with a legitimate reason to return.
Wei Qian, while checking her phone, remarked, "I heard from your class monitor that the school has notified your parents and they went to the police station. They should be here soon."
Rao Jie felt a shiver run through her. Given her current situation, her parents would surely come to check on her!
Feeling a bit anxious, Rao Jie asked about the details of what had happened after she lost consciousness.
After Wu Rong rescued her, he performed CPR, but it wasn't enough on its own.
