Ye Yu ultimately chose to go to Sin City, a Special Administrative Planet with a unique status, where only here could he hide this Imperial Woman. Ye Yu did not know why, but upon seeing the nameless Azure Marked Woman, he simply did not want her to be harmed, not even in the slightest. 0

For many people in the Federation, especially the young, Sin City held a special sentiment. 0

Sin City was a legend within the Federation. At that time, the Federation had just been established for less than a century, and its population had reached an extreme. The Federation's first expedition was aimed at finding new places to inhabit and new resources. According to calculations by Federal Literary Scholars, there was a location about four light-years away that resembled the Federation Star System, where there should be suitable places for human habitation. 0

At that time, the technology of the Federation was extremely backward. For this expedition, most of the members involved in the journey had to be placed in Hibernation Pods for winter sleep. Only five people in the entire expedition Fleet remained awake, rotating every five years. 0

This way, a Fleet of over two hundred could maximize their long-distance travel without being hindered by human lifespan limitations. Back then, the maximum lifespan of humans was generally no more than one hundred thirty years, and the oldest participants in the expedition were no more than forty. 0

Each person had about eighty years of time; however, since each batch of duty members only needed to serve for five years, by the time this group awoke from their Hibernation Pods again, it would already be years later. Theoretically calculated, humanity would have at least three thousand years of exploration time. This did not include any reproduction that might occur aboard the ship; after all, it was uncertain whether space conditions were conducive to reproduction. 0

This was an extremely risky exploration, but humanity continued to grow thanks to its fearless spirit of exploration. This nearly one-way expedition received support from nearly everyone on the planet. 0

However, the people on this planet did not expect that this voyage would actually last over a thousand years before yielding results. The ships at that time were simply too slow and faced various unforeseen accidents; out of over a hundred ships, only five reached what is now known as the Federation Northern District. The remaining ships were either completely destroyed for various reasons or exploded after being struck in asteroid belts or mysteriously vanished. 0

The entire Federation Northern District was like a treasure trove for these explorers. It was a binary star system with seven or eight habitable planets and thousands of resource-rich Mining Planets. 0

According to calculations at that time, although this location was only four light-years away from the Federation Homeworld, due to the Fleet's massive size and outdated technology, they could not even reach one percent of light speed; thus it took them a full millennium to arrive here. 0

By the end of their journey, fewer than one hundred people remained alive on board; yet it was these fewer than one hundred who laid a solid foundation for the future expansion of the Federation. 0

After a millennium of development, the technology of the Federation finally made another qualitative leap. Upon confirming suitable living areas in the north of the Federation, they once again mobilized national resources to construct new ships. 0

This time, the speed of these ships reached one-tenth of light speed. Compared to the arduous explorations of a thousand years prior, those aboard felt as if they had merely taken a nap before arriving at new territories of the Federation. 0

A new territory and a new era had arrived; it was a great age that forged many remarkable figures. 0

In just a century's time, all administrative stars in the Northern District had been fully developed. By this point, both immigrants from the Federation and those who had proliferated locally had created a planet nearly as large as the Federation Homeworld with a population reaching five hundred million. 0

Countless poignant stories were told in this new territory while simultaneously, the Federation Homeworld seemed to become an unrelated entity. Although vast amounts of refined energy were transported back home, the Federation Homeworld and Northern District's main administrative star increasingly resembled two different nations. 0

People in Northern District blamed the greed of the Federation Homeworld for extracting nearly all resources from these pioneers. Meanwhile, those from Federation Homeworld believed that their initial national effort in conducting expeditions entitled them to these resources. 0

As the schemers continuously provoked both sides, patience began to wear thin. War had become an inevitable reality, and the cause was simple: the Northern District had withheld half of its supplies for its own use. The Federation Homeworld suspected that the people of the Northern District harbored ulterior motives, and war was about to ignite. 0

This war lasted for a century, though half of that time was spent in transit. The Federation dispatched nearly ninety percent of its Space Fleet towards the Northern District, with Battleships reaching unprecedented speeds, arriving at the Northern District's Administrative Capital Star in just twenty years. 0

After receiving the declaration of war from the Federation Homeworld over a decade ago, the Northern District immediately began mobilizing all its resources to construct Space Battleships. 0

In the end, the Northern District, well-prepared and benefiting from geographical advantages, managed to annihilate the entire Fleet sent by the Federation Homeworld! 0

Following this victory, the Northern District began to establish a new nation, attempting to create a brand-new state. It wasn't until four years later that the Federation Homeworld received news of this development, which shocked the entire nation! 0

The president of the Federation Homeworld at that time was unwilling to accept that a millennium of waiting had only resulted in a formidable adversary. He immediately began giving speeches across the eight major planets and dozens of habitable worlds within the Federation's star system. 0

Ultimately, this president garnered widespread support and donations to build a new Fleet. During this time, scientists were also hard at work—striving to increase ship speeds while continuously researching fundamental theoretical physics. 0

According to early studies, there existed Multidimensional Space-Time Tunnels in the universe. If a tunnel leading to the Northern District could be found, it would provide the Federation with an excellent opportunity to turn the tide. 0

Fortune favored those who persevered. Just as this president's second term was nearing its end—thirty years after the Federation Homeworld's defeat by the Northern District—scientists finally discovered a suitable Multidimensional Space-Time Tunnel! 0

After rigorous testing, this tunnel was found to lead directly to the extreme northern region of the Northern District's main administrative star. Consequently, travel time for the Federation Homeworld to reach that star was reduced to less than a month! 0

When this research breakthrough was announced, jubilation erupted throughout the Home Planet region; thirty years of frugality had finally borne fruit! 0

Before leaving office, this president—who would be celebrated for millennia—signed one last order: the Second Northern Expedition Fleet was to set sail immediately! 0

This time, the Federation Homeworld did not declare war outright. The thirty years of "false peace" led many in the Northern District to believe that the Federation had abandoned its ambitions towards them. 0

Thus, with overwhelming superiority, the Federation Homeworld unexpectedly appeared in the far northern regions of the Northern District. The newly established defense systems of the Northern District crumbled under this absolute force without any resistance. 0

The Fleet from the Federation Homeworld swept through with devastating momentum, dismantling layer upon layer of defenses until all Space Battleships of the Northern District were utterly destroyed. 0

The ensuing battles transitioned to ground combat. This planet had been colonized by the Federation; naturally, they could not use high-powered weapons to obliterate it entirely. 0

However, the people of the Federation Homeworld never expected that the Northern District had grown and evolved over more than a hundred years. Particularly in the last fifty years, two generations had emerged who felt almost no sense of identity with the Federation Homeworld. 0

What seemed like a simple ground war lasted a full fifty years before a complete ceasefire was finally reached! The entire Federation Northern District had nearly returned to its original state from when it was first established, and in many ways, it was even worse off. 0

In the end, it was the Federation Homeworld that made concessions. After signing a permanent ceasefire agreement and returning to the Federation, the Federation Homeworld no longer pursued war crimes committed by those who participated in the conflict from the Northern District. Moreover, one of the planets was designated as a residence for those who had fought, granting them a high degree of autonomy. Unless hostilities resumed, the Federation could not take military action against this planet or its inhabitants. 0

This highly autonomous planet later came to be known as Sin City by its residents because, aside from symbolically paying some taxes to the Federation each year, it essentially operated in a state of self-governance. They could even legislate independently as long as they did not violate fundamental human principles. This led to frequent criminal incidents on the planet, earning it the nickname Sin City from people in other regions. 0

Although Sin City was unique, its internal operations were not entirely without oversight; its basic legal principles were still quite similar to those of the Federation. Of course, there were also individuals opposed to the current system of the Federation living there, including some from the Blue Seal Empire. As long as they did not engage in illegal activities, they could continue their lives. However, only those living there truly knew how much of this was accurate. 0

Ye Yu chose Sin City because he had long heard stories about this planet. He understood that its inhabitants were descendants of those who had once wielded weapons against the Home Planet and Fleet; many naturally held little affection for the Federation. 0

While they did not outright oppose the Federation, there were certainly some covert actions that went unnoticed by them. After all, that law had been passed by all members of the Federation thousands of years ago, and as descendants, they would not easily defy the will of their predecessors. 0

Moreover, with nearly ten thousand years of history behind it, the Federation had established more than just one new region in the Northern District. Over subsequent millennia, it found new habitable star systems in the southeast and southwest directions. In fact, there were even more habitable planets in the eastern region than in the Federation Homeworld system itself, making it quite prominent for a time. 0

Thus, Sin City's existence became less of an eyesore; compared to the dozens of planets owned by the Federation, it seemed rather insignificant. 0

More importantly, Sin City could remain unguarded. Any spaceship could dock in designated areas with just a simple application process. The strange ship that Ye Yu and his companions were currently aboard would never be allowed to dock freely elsewhere; it would have to undergo rigorous scrutiny first. 0

Perhaps only Sin City among all five territories of the Federation could accommodate Ye Yu's ship; they had no other options! 0
