"Report, General. An unidentified flying object has appeared, but we have lost track of it." As the commander of the Vulture elite team, Shaoyu had spotted a mysterious spaceship during patrol, but it quickly vanished, leaving him unable to trace its whereabouts. He knew that when he couldn't resolve an issue himself, he had to report it immediately, even if it meant facing ridicule from his colleagues. 0

The appearance of an unidentified flying object in a military defense zone, especially one that they had lost track of, was a significant disgrace for them. Though he felt reluctant, he still had to request technical support from the Mother Ship. 0

After a moment of silence, a voice slowly emerged on the line: "Leave this matter to me. You all return." 0

"Activate the Net and locate the target," the General commanded. He believed everything would be resolved soon. The Net was the highest-level defense system established by the Federation, capable of monitoring all movements within the defense area. 0

Sure enough, within just a few minutes, the General received news. However, as he looked at the destination of the target's flight, his graying temples sighed deeply. The previously relaxed furrow in his brow tightened again, and the lines on his forehead seemed to tell tales of the long years he had endured. 0

"Hello, connect me to the Dragon City Lord!" 0

The General hesitated for a moment but ultimately picked up the special communicator next to his desk to contact someone he was reluctant to engage with. 0

Fifteen minutes passed before a somewhat languid voice came through: "This is Long Yin Yue. Who is this?" 0

"Dragon City Lord, I am Ouyang. I need your cooperation on something!" General Ouyang seemed somewhat displeased; despite his high rank and power, he had never regarded an official from Administrative Capital Star lightly. Yet with Long Yin Yue, he had to tread carefully. 0

"Oh? The infamous Shura Hand Ouyang is seeking assistance from a mere city lord?" Long Yin Yue sounded surprised and teased him deliberately. 0

Ouyang's brows twitched sharply but quickly regained his composure: "Two individuals from the Blue Seal Empire killed two of my soldiers and are now piloting an unnamed ship towards your planet. We can no longer intercept them here; I need your help to capture them." Ouyang didn’t tell the whole truth; he couldn’t admit that he had lost track of a ship and needed their help to resolve it. 0

"Hahaha! General Ouyang commands the entire Northern District's Space Battleship yet is stumped by two Blue Marked People! If I were to leak this news to Federation News, I wonder how long you could remain in your position?" 0

Long Yin Yue seemed delighted by this revelation. Even though the transmission took longer due to distance, Ouyang could feel the mockery directed at him—an unabashed derision. 0

"Dragon City Lord, this concerns the safety of the Federation; I ask for your cooperation!" Ouyang struggled to control his emotions. Although his Ouyang Family was one of the ten great families of the Federation, making such a mistake could lead him to be ousted amidst public outcry, leaving him with no chance of recovery in his lifetime. 0

After several minutes of silence from Long Yin Yue's end, just when Ouyang thought he had fallen asleep, Long Yin Yue's voice finally returned: "Thirty units of modified Battle Mechs—no bargaining!" 0

"This is the latest model of the Federation's mecha, and only the military has the right to use it!" Although the situation in Sin City was special, any attempt by the other party to display military strength to shake off the Federation's control was absolutely unacceptable. 0

"Ouyang, the Interstellar Pirates here have become so spoiled under your care that I can't even get a few mechas for self-defense?" Long Yin Yue seemed taken aback by Ouyang's refusal, almost roaring in frustration. 0

"Dragon City Lord, let's talk about evidence. Don't think my Ouyang Family is so easy to bully!" Ouyang's originally fair face was now flushed red, as if he had eaten the spiciest chili. 0

"Don't use your Ouyang Family to pressure me. If there were solid evidence, your Ouyang Family would decisively treat you as a pawn!" Long Yin Yue retorted defiantly. The ten great families were always in a state of mutual checks and balances; they couldn't act recklessly, and in fact, they had even more concerns than ordinary people. With nearly ten thousand years of history, the Ouyang Family had countless talents and could easily find someone to replace Ouyang. 0

"Fine, thirty units of the modified Type 9 mecha. However, I can't give them all at once; you'll have to wait until you catch them, regardless of their fate!" Ouyang realized that continuing to argue was pointless; his Ouyang Family wouldn't resort to attacking Long Yin Yue over personal grudges. 0

"Deal!" A victorious smile appeared on Long Yin Yue's face. He then activated another communicator and said, "Silver Dragon Guard's boys, it's time to stretch your legs!" 0

... 0

Ye Yu had no idea how to operate Jin Shan's ship, so he was truly at a loss about how to submit an application to the Sin City's ship management department. 0

As for Huaying, she was still deep in slumber. If she woke up now, it would definitely be a big problem. 0

Ultimately, this matter still needed Jin Shan to resolve. He had yet to reveal his true identity. His existence was a secret that couldn't be casually exposed; otherwise, it might attract unwanted attention. Contact between different civilizations could lead to war if not handled carefully; the Federation and Blue Seal Empire were prime examples. Although Jin Shan was just one person now, he couldn't easily engage with either the Federation or Blue Seal civilizations. 0

At this moment, the maple leaf-red planet was fully visible before them. Looking up at it felt like gazing at a massive red disc engraved on the vast black canvas of space—truly a sight to behold. 0

Under Jin Shan's guidance, Ye Yu arrived at the front of the ship. At that moment, a figure popped up on the wall and said, "Hello, this is the Ship Management Bureau. We are pleased to serve you!" 0

"Hello! We would like to apply for a docking space for a Hummingbird-class ship to refuel," Ye Yu said with a bright smile towards the staff member. Jin Shan had adjusted their ship to match the specifications of the Federation's Hummingbird-class vessels, allowing it to fit into such docking spaces. 0

"Alright, please wait a moment." The staff member lowered his head to input the information, but after a moment, he raised an eyebrow and asked, "According to the data, it seems that your spaceship has no navigation records." 0

"What? Is that not possible?" Ye Yu replied without hesitation, causing Jin Shan beside him to shake his head. 0

"According to the regulations of Sin City, your spaceship needs to undergo additional procedural checks. Please hold on for a moment," the staff member said after hesitating briefly, his expression returning to calm. 0

At that moment, the communication was cut off. Jin Shan turned to Ye Yu and said, "People who are in love have the lowest IQ. It seems that's true now. Did you see that person's expression just now? We might be in danger!" 0

"Danger? Haven't we already shaken off our pursuers? What danger could there be?" Ye Yu chuckled at Jin Shan's feigned concern. 0

Jin Shan shook his head. "No, we need to leave immediately. Sin City is still part of the Federation; they might have already discovered my whereabouts!" 0

Jin Shan's face was naturally grim. He had always been confident in his skills, and now being discovered would be a humiliation for him. 0

Ye Yu shrugged helplessly. "Even if we wanted to leave now, it's impossible. This spaceship's fuel is only enough to land us in Sin City." Although Jin Shan's spaceship was advanced, it consumed a lot of raw materials, and Ye Yu's supply had nearly been depleted. 0

"We have new friends outside; it looks like we're really in trouble." Jin Shan nodded helplessly, but when he saw the warning alert on the spaceship, his expression turned somewhat panicked. 0

Ye Yu looked up and noticed five silver-white battleships flying toward them on the screen. 0

"They can't be coming to welcome us, can they?" 0

Ye Yu swallowed hard as his heart raced. The silver-white battleships bore a massive ancient creature's totem—a dragon—etched on their front. This dragon emblem was unique to the Silver Dragon Guard of Sin City within the entire Federation; it was their most distinctive feature. 0

Although Sin City enjoyed a high degree of autonomy, it did not possess its own armed forces. The only force available was the Silver Dragon Guard. 0

Rumor had it that the Silver Dragon Guard consisted of fewer than ten thousand members, yet each one was capable of taking on ten opponents single-handedly. They were all experts in piloting mechs and battleships, and they could easily handle ordinary weapons. Every citizen of Sin City took pride in joining the Silver Dragon Guard, but out of millions in the city-state, fewer than two thousand qualified each year. It even attracted young people from other territories of the Federation who would cross light-years just to join the Silver Dragon Guard. 0

They were responsible for safeguarding the security of Sin City, combating the Interstellar Pirates attempting to invade and various terror activities orchestrated by the Star Wanderers. However, there was also a Silver Dragon Guard stationed at the front lines between the Federation and the Blue Seal Empire, carrying out special missions for the Federation. Regardless, they were still a part of the Federation. 0

Jin Shan glanced at Ye Yu and said, "Perhaps today I will die here with you. You and your Beloved might only be able to continue your fate in another life." 0

"Attention, ships ahead! We are the Silver Dragon Guard. We have received accusations against you regarding threats to Federation security. Please cooperate with our inspection!" 0

At that moment, a voice echoed from the ship, sounding fierce and resolute. As soon as the words were spoken, four out of five ships flew in from behind, forming a three-dimensional encirclement around them. 0

"Don't worry, the Silver Dragon Guard won't indiscriminately kill innocents," Ye Yu reassured Jin Shan. After all, Jin Shan had saved him, and if anything happened, he would feel guilty for a lifetime. 0

"I think we don't need to worry anymore," Jin Shan said gravely as he looked at the battleships outside. "From my assessment, this is a tactical encirclement by the Silver Dragon Guard. No matter which direction we try to escape from, we will face an attack from one of their ships!" 0

"Be more clear," Ye Yu replied, taken aback. He hadn't come to Sin City to seek death, but looking at Jin Shan's usually confident demeanor now filled with concern, it didn't seem like good news was on the horizon. 0

Beep beep beep— 0

At that moment, an urgent alarm blared through the ship. The piercing sound was like metal scraping against rough ground, unsettling everyone on board. 0

"We've been locked onto by missiles! They intend to kill us!" 0

As soon as Jin Shan finished speaking, a faint blue fire erupted from a Silver Dragon Guard ship directly ahead, and a long missile shot toward Jin Shan's ship at lightning speed. 0
