"Sister Liyan, don't be angry," Huang Lu advised.
"Su Xiaoxiao, you're asking for trouble!" Su Liyan snapped, unable to hold back any longer as she reached for the juice on the table, intending to throw it at me.
Seeing this, I quickly dodged and pulled Huang Lu out of the way. As a result, all of Su Liyan's juice splashed onto Huang Lu's face.
"Ah—!" Huang Lu screamed.
"Huang Lu, are you okay?" Su Liyan asked with concern.
"My face..." Huang Lu groaned in pain.
"You..." Su Liyan was so furious she started stomping her feet.
"Su Xiaoxiao, how dare you dodge!" Su Liyan shouted angrily.
"Why shouldn't I?" I retorted.
"You..." Su Liyan gritted her teeth in anger.
"Su Liyan, I warn you, if you try to lay a hand on me again, I won't hold back," I warned her.
"You..." Su Liyan was left speechless with rage.
"Hmph!" I scoffed and sat down.
"Sister Liyan, let's go," Huang Lu said softly after wiping her face clean.
"Su Xiaoxiao, I won't let you off the hook," Su Liyan threatened fiercely.
"I'm waiting," I replied indifferently.
With that, Su Liyan took Huang Lu and left.
"Miss, please apologize to that young lady," the manager approached Su Liyan and said.
"Why should I apologize to her?" Su Liyan retorted angrily.
"Your behavior has disturbed other customers," the manager explained.
"I..." Su Liyan was at a loss for words.
"Miss, please apologize to that young lady," the manager insisted.
"I refuse!" Su Liyan declared defiantly.
"Sister Liyan, let's just apologize," Huang Lu urged gently.
"Shut up!" Su Liyan snapped at her.
"Miss, if you do not apologize to that young lady, we will have to ask you to leave the establishment," the manager said sternly.
"You..." Su Liyan's face turned red with anger.
"Sister Liyan, let's go," Huang Lu whispered.
"Su Xiaoxiao, you wait for me!" Su Liyan threw down this remark and left.
"Sigh, what bad luck," I shook my head.
"Young Lady, are you alright?" Uncle Luo approached with concern.
"I'm fine," I smiled.
"That's good to hear," Uncle Luo replied, relieved.
"I'll continue eating," I said with a smile.
"Alright," Uncle Luo nodded.
So, I went back to my meal.
Meanwhile, Su Liyan and Huang Lu exited the restaurant.
"Sister Liyan, wait for me!" Huang Lu called from behind.
"Hurry up!" Su Liyan replied impatiently.
"Sister Liyan, you were too impulsive just now," Huang Lu complained after catching up.
"I just wanted to teach Su Xiaoxiao a lesson," Su Liyan said angrily.
"But you can't do that in public!" Huang Lu protested.
"I..." Su Liyan was at a loss for words.
"And you spilled juice on my face," Huang Lu added, feeling wronged.
"I didn't mean to," Su Liyan said sheepishly.
"I know," Huang Lu replied, feeling downcast.
"I'll be more careful next time," Su Liyan promised.
"Mm-hmm," Huang Lu nodded.
"Let's go back," Su Liyan suggested.
"Okay," Huang Lu agreed.
Thus, Su Liyan and Huang Lu left the scene. This moment was coincidentally witnessed by Ivy and Li Xiaoliu in the private room on the second floor.
"Ivy, isn't that Miss Su?" Li Xiaoliu pointed at me and said to Ivy.
"It’s her," Ivy nodded.
"How did she get here?" Li Xiaoliu asked, puzzled.
"I don’t know," Ivy shook her head.
"Should we go over and say hello?" Li Xiaoliu inquired.
"No need," Ivy declined.
"Oh," Li Xiaoliu nodded.
"But she is quite interesting," Ivy suddenly said.
"Interesting?" Li Xiaoliu replied, confused.
"Yes," Ivy nodded.
"I don’t see it," Li Xiaoliu admitted honestly.
"You don’t understand," Ivy said cryptically.
"Alright," Li Xiaoliu responded helplessly.
"Let’s continue eating," Ivy suggested.
"Okay," Li Xiaoliu nodded.
So, Ivy and Li Xiaoliu continued their meal. Meanwhile, I was unaware that someone was watching me. After finishing my meal, I headed home.
After I left, Su Liyan emerged from the restroom.
"Sister Liyan, you finally came out," Huang Lu said, standing at the door.
"Mm," Su Liyan nodded.
"Let’s go back," Huang Lu said.
"Sure," Su Liyan agreed with a nod.
Thus, Su Liyan and Huang Lu walked towards the exit.
